Chapter 40: Alpha Arman’s Anger

Gabriella.

"Where is Amanda?" Alpha Arman, Amanda's father immediately asked when he entered the palace together with his Luna.

"Luna Amanda is in her room, Alpha Arman," one of the servants answered him.

Not long, Javier arrived and faced Alpha Arman.

"Why are you suddenly visiting here, Alpha Armand?" Javier asked him.

Alpha Arman glared at Javier, "Where is Amanda? Why did the rogue werewolves attack her!?"

"She is fine now, Alpha Arman. You don't need to be worried," Javier assured.

"She's fine? She's in her bed, and you tell me that she's fine!?"

I tilted. The disappointment and anger on Alpha Arman's face because of what happened to Amanda were obvious.

"Where is she!?" Alpha Arman yelled.

Javier sighed before he answered, "She is in her room. She is resting now, Alpha Arman," Javier answered.

Alpha Arman and his Luna quickly walked to Amanda's room. When Javier followed, I followed them. I haven't seen Amanda since she came back here to the Palace. She has been confined in the hospital for three days, and when they brought Amanda home here, Eury and I went to go somewhere.

When we entered Amanda's room, she was sitting on the bed. There were bandages on her arms, and face because of the wounds she sustained. All the servants left the room, so in the end, there were five of us inside.

"How are you, Princess? Are you okay now?" Alpha Arman asked his daughter.

"I am fine now, Dad. Some wounds on my body are a bit painful," Amanda answered.

Alpha Arman looked at Javier. His eyes were glazed over.

"What is the reason why this happened to Amanda, Javier? I need an acceptable reason!" Alpha Arman demanded.

"Amanda left the palace without telling me the reason, Alpha Arman," Javier answered him.

Alpha Arman looked at Amanda again, "Why did you leave without Javier, Amanda? You know there are many rogue werewolves scattered throughout the Kingdom!" he asked her.

Amanda looked in my direction. I didn't show any emotion even though I knew I was the one she would blame for what happened.

"Because of Gabriella, Dad," she confessed.

Alpha Arman looked at me and when he saw me, he gave me a dagger look.

"Come here, Gabriella!" He yelled at me.

I raised my eyebrows. I looked at Javier. He signaled me to approach Alpha Arman.

"What did she do to you, Amanda? Tell me, so this woman can be punished!" Alpha Arman asked Amanda while looking at me.

"Gabriella told nasty words at me, Dad. She said that she will be the Luna here at the Bloodlust, and she planned to kill me," Amanda said which made my eyes widen.

"She said that she is the true Luna in this Pack, so I need to go back to White Moon. She threatened me. She said that she will poison me again, or hire rogue werewolves to kill me!" she continued.

Alpha Arman's face got darker and darker while looking at me because of Amanda's lies.

Amanda began to cry like a baby.

"So, I decided to leave the palace. I was scared. I don't want to die. I have dreams to be a perfect Luna for Javier, so I immediately leave!" After she said those words, her tears fell from his eyes.

"We all know that she is the destined mate of Javier, and she used it to humiliate me! She is trying to lift her rank as an Omega, so she will do everything to make it happen, dad!" she ended.

Alpha Arman immediately approached me. Without any words, he smacked my face hard!

"Who gave you the power to do that to Amanda? You are just a server here! You are wolfless, you are worthless!" He yelled at me.

I touched my cheek. I knew it blushed because of the force of the slap Alpha Arman gave me.

"If I were you, I will see my words," I said weakly but with authority to Alpha Arman.

"What!? Are you kidding me? I am an Alpha, and you are just an Omega who is trying to lift your rank! You are using your thing like a "Destined Mate" to seduce Javier!" He belittled me.

I looked sharply at Alpha Arman, "You know that I am not an Omega, Alpha Arman because I am the daughter of the Alpha and Luna of Blueriver Pack!" I said.

"And there is news that reached me. The White Moon Pack tried to attack our pack back then, right?" I continued.

Alpha Arman widened his eyes.

"According to the report that I gathered, the rogue werewolves were the attackers back then, but, don't worry, I opened again the case, and not soon, I will know the answer to all my questions!" I informed him.

"And so? What do you want to convey to me, Gabriella?"

"Nothing, Alpha Arman, but, when all the conclusions I have, I will ensure that they will all suffer in my hand!" I gave him an answer.

Arman laughed out loud while looking at me, "Even you are an Alpha's daughter or something. You can't get rid of the fact that you are useless! You are wolfless, so it means, you can't do anything!" he said.

"Don't be complacent, Alpha Arman. You don't know me. Maybe I'll kill you?" I teased him.

"What did you say?" he asked angrily.

Using his right hand, he choked me. I showed him no fear. In an instant, I could have killed him, but I didn't. Death is not enough for him!

"Just say if you want to die, Gabriella! I will give it to you!" he said.

I gave him a grin which made him annoyed.

"Alpha Arman!" I heard Javier yell at him, but it looked like he didn't hear him.

"I want this useless woman to be put in jail now, Javier!!" he shouted back while looking at me.

"I want to see him beheaded!" He added.

I could feel Alpha Arman's grip on me.

"Alpha Arman, calm down!" Javier calmed him down.

"No! Tomorrow, execute her no matter what happens!! I will present, and ensure that she will die!!" Alpha Arman insisted.

"Then, a war will take place, Alpha Arman!"

Everyone stopped when someone spoke from behind me. In his voice, even though I didn't see him, I already knew him.

"Alpha Viktor?"
