Chapter 35: Divorce Amanda

Gabriella.

"Gabriella, please do not hesitate to contact me if something goes wrong during your stay at the Blood Lust. I will advocate for you regardless of the circumstances!" Alpha Viktor spoke in hushed tones.

"Don't worry about me, Alpha Viktor; everything will be fine! What happened to me will not happen again under any circumstances! I'll make sure Javier is held accountable for what he did to me, and I'll make sure Amanda's family is held accountable for what they did to the Blue River!" I did respond.

Alpha Viktor exhaled a sigh. He was holding both of my hands and looking at me with his eyes. His hands were warm, and something about the way he looked at me bothered me. Even though we're not physically touching, I can sense it.

"Gabriela, may I kiss you?" he asked as he turned to face me.

My pupils dilated as a result of his question. I was taken aback when he requested something of the sort! I'm afraid I can't answer his question. He just stood there staring at me. I could feel the heat rising to my face from all over my body. When I turned around, Alpha Viktor was pressing his face against mine and closing his eyes. Despite my desire, I found it difficult to move away from him. I was mesmerized by his appearance until his lips brushed against mine. I closed my eyes briefly when our lips touched.

He only kissed me briefly. During the break in the kiss, my lips followed his. I'm disconnected. I can't wait to press my tongue against his lips again!

"Gabriella, always remember that I am watching over you even when I am not physically present. Even though you claim to be capable of handling yourself, I must confirm that you are." My head nodded as a result of what he said.

I hugged Alpha Viktor, and he hugged me back. Alpha Viktor was easy to get to know, and as I've previously stated, he's also easy to fall in love with. I am aware of my feelings of attraction toward him. It's possible that after I finish at the Blood Lust, I'll return to Silver Fang, but even if I do, I'll never forget what Javier did to me! I am responsible for holding him accountable for what he did to our child and me.

The door to my room suddenly opened while Alpha Viktor and I were still hugging. After Alpha Viktor pulled away from the hug he was giving me, I turned around to see who had opened the door to my room.

When I turned around, I noticed Javier staring at Alpha Viktor and me, as well as Jenny, who was standing behind Javier, glaring angrily at me.

"Gabriela, we need to get going as soon as possible, so we don't get stuck on the road!" I can almost feel his annoyance in his tone of voice.

Javier's actions have left me perplexed and unable to form an opinion. As far as I can tell, the fact that he was able to marry Amanda, which was one of his goals, should be a cause for celebration. So, why is he showing me this right now?

Bring Gabriella's possessions with you! Alpha Viktor summoned the warriors, who were stationed outside my room.

The two warriors burst into the room and stole my belongings. I moved closer to Javier, and as we were about to leave, I gave Alpha Viktor a friendly smile. I turned to face Javier after sensing his grip on my arm. I raised both of my eyebrows as a result of what he did.

"Do not return here, Gabriella; Alpha Viktor will never let you in again!" I turned to face Jenny after hearing her say something.

"Let's see what happens, Princess Jenny," I retorted sarcastically.

Javier informed Alpha Viktor that he would wait for the rogue werewolves he had apprehended to punish Blood Lust and find out who was responsible for Gabriella's death attempt. Javier was conversing with Alpha Viktor.

"Don't worry, Alpha Javier," Alpha Viktor said, assuring Alpha Javier that they would deliver everyone who had been captured to him the next day.

"If that happens, Alpha Viktor, Gabriella, and I will leave. I appreciate your cooperation in this matter," Javier bid his farewell.

Javier looked in my direction just before he spoke to me. "We're going back to Blood Lust, Gabriella," he said, his tone smoothed this time.

I let go of Javier's grip on my arm, and we began to walk away. Jenny grinned and jerked her hand in my direction when she saw me.

"Watch your step, Gabriella," she cautioned.

I ignored Jenny and carried on with my walk. I didn't stand outside the Palace waiting for Javier to come out.

There was complete silence in the car as we drove to Javier's Blood Lust. When I turned to look out the window, I noticed him peering through the glass in my direction. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes for a moment of reflection before facing Javier.

I noticed that his expression was composed. Not like a while ago when he was annoyed.

"Alpha Javier, what's the rush to get me back to Blood Lust?" I inquired of him.

"Because you belong there!" he said as his first response to my question.

"Do I have a place there?" I laughed. I inquired.

"Aren't you glad that what you wanted to happen, which was to marry Princess Amanda, actually happened? Aren't you glad something good came out of what happened to me? I was able to get away from you, so your plans went more smoothly, correct?" I persisted in inquiring about it.

He followed up on my question with another, asking, "Gabriela, why are you asking me such questions?"

My head cocked to the side. If he can communicate with me, he will expose me as a liar. He stopped liking me as soon as he found out I was his Mate, and he made it clear that Amanda was the person he wanted to marry because of our relationship status.

"You stated that you do not think I am qualified to be your Luna. I'm not right for you! Don't pretend you don't understand what I'm saying, Alpha Javier; you were the one who turned your back on me and tried to take me away from you!"

"Since what you desired has already occurred, I'm not sure why you still want me to return to Blood Lust," I asked him a direct question.

"Because without you, I can't live!"

I found myself staring more intently as a result of what he said.

I couldn't help but laugh when I realized what he meant and asked, "You need me?" I asked, trying to hold back my laughter.

"Why? You are the Luna I am destined to be with, and as such, you must never leave my side."

"However, I'm not sure why you still need me as your Luna now that Amanda is your wife and Luna." I inquired further.

"Don't you love her?" I went on.

He covered his eyes with his hands before answering my questions.

"I can't continue without you as my chosen Luna. Although Amanda is on my side, please know that you are more important to me than Amanda."

"Tell me, Alpha Javier, why did you say that to me?" I asked, smirking.

"I honestly don't know what I would do without you!"

I found myself staring at him because of what he said. I couldn't help myself. My body began to heat up, but not because I still cared for him; instead, I was enraged at him. My fist was clenched.

How could he say those words if he was planning to kill me and had already killed our son?

Nonsense! Lies!

"Gabriella, I'm serious. I was floating on a cloud when I discovered we would have a baby together. It was then that I realized how much I adore you and all you have done for me, including the fact that we are expecting a child. "He continued his journey.

I gave him a sour look and walked away. "What you said cannot be true right now, Alpha Javier. You are well aware of this!"

"No, it's possible!"

"What do you mean?" I inquired, intrigued.

"Gabriella, I promise to do everything in my power to stay by your side! I will never again permit you to abandon me!"

"What about Luna Amanda? What will you do to her if that's what you want?"

He remained silent in response to my question. I understand that he cannot abandon Amanda or end their relationship.

"Let me think about that," he replied before turning his head in a different direction.

"If you're serious about what you just said, divorce Amanda as soon as possible!" I rolled my eyes and cocked my head.

"That is not a simple task."

I laughed. "Alpha Javier, you have the authority to make the decision. If you don't have the courage, I'll have to return to Alpha Viktor!" I teased him and judging by the look in his eyes, it was a success. His eyes were filled with the desire to kill.

"And he knows he can count on me to accept his offer to be his Luna!"
