Chapter One Hundred And Five

Chapter One Hundred And Five
Luna's Pov

I woke up the next morning, yawning. I was alone on the bed, naked, and a smile crept onto my face.

The memory of the previous night lingered like the aftertaste of sweet wine.

“She's still asleep.” I heard Lily protest from outside.

“I know. Just let me in.” That was Elaine.

I got up from the bed, hair cascading over my shoulders, as I crossed the room to get my robe.

Throwing it over my body, I went out to see what it was all about.

“It's fine, Lily,” I said, going over to the long table to pour myself some water.

“Luna, something strange happened this morning.” She said, and I dropped my glass, staring at her with my heart pounding a little faster.

Something strange?

The past few months held the strangest occurrences in all my life. What other thing could be stranger?

I cleared my throat.

Fear was definitely not the way to get around it.

“What is it?”

“Everyone else has forgotten. Nobody remembers there being two Lunas. They all think I'm crazy.”

“How can nobody remember? That's crazy,” I said, walking past her, “Wait here.”

I walked down the hall to Zane's study, knocking before pushing it open.

When he saw me, he had a bright smile on.

“Seeing you makes me want to throw all these aside, and redo yesterday over.” He said, and I blushed sick.

“What do you mean?” I laughed, then hoisted myself onto his desk, my robes riding high on my thigh.

His eyes locked onto it, and he rose.

“Oh come on, not now. You're busy. I also came to ask a question.” He went round the table to stand in front of me, parting my legs so he could come in between.

“I can't seem to help it.” He said, holding my cheeks.

“About Yesterday,” He began to land hot kisses on my neck, my ear, “Damn you.” I whispered, smiling as my hands dug into his hair.

His hand began to rub my thigh, causing electricity to spark through me.

“Should we do it again? The four of us?” He murmured against my ear, and I lifted my neck for him to place his soft kisses there.

“I actually came to ask something, Zane. Not this.”

He grinned mischievously and lifted me, going back to his seat so he could straddle me against him.

I fished out his organ from his trousers, opened my robe and eased myself into it.

“There… there you have it. Happy now?” I moaned, riding him slowly.

“Yeah.” he murmured to me as I continued to ride, bouncing gently on him, “Ah, feels nice.” He moaned, grasping my buttocks, helping me with lifting myself and hoisting myself onto him again.

It became a melody between us as our moans tangled together, mine high and his low as I bounced on him.

“Remember Keira?” I asked softly.

“Who's that?” He asked, and I stopped, staring into him with dreamy eyes.

“My doppelgänger. The one who disappeared at the festival.”

“Ah, I remember her.”

“See? Why would you forg…?”

“She happened in your dreams, right? Funny we now share the same dreams after yesterday,” He laughed, and I shook my head.

Seems like… their memories were really erased.

Zane was only focused on having me ride him, but my mind was somewhere else.

If only the ones involved could retain their memories, instead of them morphing into a dream, then did that mean that Nikkie and Emily had also let go of all memories?

Well… it was for the best. That way, no one would be missing anybody helplessly.

{TWO MONTHS LATER}

You need to do something about this! I get so dizzy and so faint, yet nobody's saying anything! I snapped at the doctor.

“You could have come earlier, Luna. I would have attended to you.”

“Well…”

He wasn't actually at fault. I was playing strong, trying not to accept the fact that I actually felt so weak for weeks now. But I didn't want my over-reactive mates to rant and ask why I wasn't feeling good and kept it to myself.

“You all should have noticed. Do you expect me to tell you every single thing?” I snapped, and the doctor knew best to keep his mouth shut, even though he knew I wasn't making any sense.

“I will go fetch the test results now.” He said, and immediately he left, the three of them turned against me.

“I'm the Luna. I can't fall sick. This is beneath me!” Caleb mimicked me, “Is that what you were thinking? You've been feeling unwell now, but you kept it all to yourself?” He asked, and I knew it would go on and on if I didn't do anything to stop it.

“I'm sorry…” That was just the only way to shut them up actually.

“If she says she's sorry, then we should just let her off. You know how rare it is for her to apologize.” Zane said, with a wide smile.

“You're right. Look at you burning up.” Ryder placed his hand on my forehead, before checking my cheek out.

“The test results are here, Luna.” The doctor said, coming in, and I took it from him, rising to my feet.

And there written on it, was the news I'd so much wanted to see.

My promise to Nikkie was fulfilled.

“I'm… I'm pregnant!” I breathed out, and the Alphas shot to their feet immediately, taking the paper from me, passing it among themselves. “Damn!” I screamed, unable to believe it.

“We're having an heir.” Caleb said, stunned, and Ryder took me in his arms, spinning me around while I screamed.

“We need to start getting prepared. Is it going to be a boy or a girl?” Zane asked, turning to the door robotically.

“I don't think we can decide yet. It's still forming. But I think I want a girl. A beautiful girl.” I said, and Ryder and Caleb followed us out.

“Well, you've proven that a girl can rule, and be so tenacious, so I don't really mind whatever gender.” Ryder said, while Caleb looped his arm around me, as we made our way to the rooftop—our new favorite spot.

“Gender truly doesn't matter. I'm just glad that we have an heir now. I'm going to make sure we keep this baby no matter what happens. It must come out safely.” Zane helped me settle onto blankets gently, despite me being as agile as ever.

“What about the clothes and all? Shouldn't we get that?” Ryder asked, and I chuckled, shaking my head.

“It's way too soon.” I laid down, placing my head on Zane's lap, and my feet on Caleb's, “They say if you want a baby to come out nice and pretty, you must do whatever the mother says.”

“What do you want us to do?” Ryder asked, and I smiled mischievously.

“Zane should massage my head, Caleb should massage my feet, and you should massage my fingers.” I said, closing my eyes.

“Why do I have the feeling you'll try to turn us into maids?” Caleb asked, and it was crazy as we all burst out laughing.

Then we watched the sunset.

Honestly, the beauty of that moment was something that would forever remain evergreen in my memory.

Me with my mates, without a care in the world.

It was beautiful.
