There was a knock at the door and Wyatt told Jonas that the Delta had arrive and that Alpha Silas was also here. Jonas immediately growled but Genni held up her hand and told him that it was for Hilda’s welfare so he stopped. Genni asked if Hilda could accompany the Delta and dispose of the pixie. She also asked out loud if Alpha Silas wouldn’t mind going with them so he could protect his Mate. He agreed at once and Bowing his head to Genni and only Genni, they all left.
Now, standing in the Luna’s small office stood Jonas, Genni, Greg, Sara, Lucas, Wyatt and Daniel. There was no room to swing a cat let alone have a meeting in there. Besides the fact they would all have to stand Genni realised the ridiculous situation and asked if they would all make their way to the Alphas’ apartment.
Walking down to the apartment Genni was chatting to her Father, he said that there was something her needed to talk to her about. Interest Piqued Genni tried to prod her Father into giving her more info but he remained quiet telling her they would catch up later. When they arrived Jonas opened the door and everyone waited for Genni to walk in first. Genni had began to notice these little changes in everyone’s attitude. Right down the the Omega’s. They were treating her like royalty and she wasn’t sure if she liked it or not. Thinking that she would raise this point in the meeting she sat on the longest sofa and was immediately flanked by Sara and Molly. Looking at Jonas’s face made Genni smile as he had a right pout on. Linking with her Beta and Gamma she told them to go sit with their Mates. Both nodded and rose from the sofa to go and sit on the opposite one where Greg and Peter had sat down. Greg had a beaming smile and open arms waiting for Sara and Genni felt a warm glow inside knowing that her best friend was as happy as she. When everyone had come in and settled Jonas started the meeting ‘well, as you are all now aware Zachary has made a move. It may have only been a spy mission for him but he will have gained a lot of information as he placed the pixie in the right person. Ms Banks had access to virtually everywhere as she is a nurse. What I don’t understand is how no one noticed. My Love, did you not feel magic around them’? Everyone looked at Genni and instead of being angry at being put in the spot light Genni welcomed a chance to say her part ‘No, My Love, I didn’t recognises the magic aura as there was already a magical aura in the hospital. And, as I have not long taken up my Luna duties I had yet to tour the hospital facility and as the only time I was there was when Hilda returned there was already a Magic signature there’. Holding up her her to stave off any questions she continued ‘I do understand the significance of Zachary putting a spy among us, of course this needs looking into but I must admit the other two points are of the upmost importance as far as I am concern’. As she finished her face had taken on a hard look almost a determined look. Jonas had been nodding along to everything that she had said so once again he picked up the conversation ‘I agree that the Pixie needs investigating but I believe that when we solve one the others will solve themselves’. Peter asked if he may speak and once again Jonas had to remind him that as one of his inner circle he had just as much right to speak up and didn’t need anyone’s permission, nodding at his Alpha Peter said ‘as far as Molly and myself are concerned Zachary has done more than spied on us. He sent that Pixie to inhabit a nurse, someone we trust completely, but as a midwife we also place our cubs in her trust. And as Molly has described the events over the last few hours I think it a heinous crime that the creature put one of our Babies in danger. Had Ms Banks been in her right mind I have no doubt that she would have picked up on the babies distress. She was a midwife for over thirty years after all. What weighs heavy on me is that in doing it the way he did, Zachary has declared his utter inhumanity. We all know what the children of Kain are renowned for. They are heartless monsters. As far as I’m concern Zachary has shown his hand and I see it as a declaration of war’!
Genni just stated at him, she has known Peter all her life and she had never heard him speak as passionately as he had now about anything. Daniel clapped Peter on his shoulder and murmured ‘there’s my Beta’ to which Peter smiled back at her father. Leaning forward so his elbows rested on his knees Jonas considered what Peter had just said, looking around the room he could see the steely determination on everyone’s face except Genni, who was sitting there almost serene like. Realising that Genni had gone within herself, no doubt to talk with her Mother, Jonas tried to give her the time she needed. ‘You honestly think that by sending that Pixie here is an act of war,Peter? Wouldn’t it be better to think of it as a recon mission and not as an open threat’? Peter growled low in his throat, he was very angry and Jonas was at a loss to understand why he would feel so strongly about this situation. Peter stood up abruptly and stomped off toward the restroom and disappeared behind the door before Jonas could say anything. Jonas knew there was more to this but he genuinely didn’t know what. Genni was still and quiet, Sapphire and herself had just connected through the trance shift that they were able to do. Having tried and failed to contact their mother Sapphire was pacing back and forth and spouting some very unladylike words. Pointing her great head toward the sky Genni was left with no doubt who the words were directed at. After calming her wolf Genni shut of the trance shift but continued to be still and just watch her pack members. Peter was irate over this situation, the fact that Zachary had picked out a nurse to be his spies body seemed to be almost painful for him. Thinking about this as she listened to him getting more and more irate Genni felt the lightbulb go off. Not looking at Sara but linking with her genni simply said ‘Are you’? Sara did look at Genni now and with a small smile tugging at the corners of her mouth, nodded a little. Genni was thrilled and asked if she may let Jonas know but Sara said it should come from her and Genni immediately agreed. When Peter came back he stood by his mate choosing not to sit back down and every now and then Genni could see him surreptitiously glance toward his daughter. Looking at Sara, Genni bowed her head toward the young women and Sara started to speak ‘Alpha, Greg and myself have something we need to tell you and it will explain why my father is in the state he is in’. Jonas looked toward his Beta but Greg only had eyes for his Mate at this moment ‘You see, Alpha. I am pregnant and the thought that Ms Banks could have been my midwife is causing my father to act completely irrational, In my opinion,’. She said as she glanced at her father. Waiting for the room to react to what she had said Sara linked with Genni and said “SURPRISE”! Genni laughed and rushed over to her best friend and hugged her tightly ‘I’m so happy for you, both of you’. Even though Jonas had stood up to shake Greg’s hand and congratulate his Beta, Jonas knew there was something wrong They had known each other since they were cubs themselves so Jonas had always been hyper aware of Greg’s mood and vice verser. Linking with his Beta, Jonas asked him to meet him later at the training grounds, Greg nodded his response but said nothing. His hand was placed protectively on Sara’s shoulder and Genni asked how far along she was. ‘As far as I am aware I got pregnant shortly after returning from our mission to find Hilda, I do not know if I was pregnant when I..… I do know that I was pregnant very soon after, if that makes sense. I’ve not gone to see Dr Julia yet and have only spoken to Mom about it. Dad as you can see is frantic about the pregnancy and although both parents are ecstatic to be grandparents my father seems to be gripped with this irrational fear’. Molly grasped Sara ‘s hands in hers and just smiled gently at her daughter, proud of her she said softly ‘Sara we only want what’s best for you darling’ and even though it was whispered they all heard it due to their enhanced hearing. Jonas had linked with Genni to ask if she had conversed with her mother to which Genni replied “No” she also told her husband that Sapphire was extremely put out at not being able to contact their mother and felt a little bit abandoned by the Moon Goddess. While they were talking via the main link Jonas asked Genni if Sara could have been pregnant at the time of her death and subsequent rebirth, Genni honestly didn’t know this and was becoming increasingly worried that had Sara been pregnant then she might’ve unintentionally hurt the child as she grieved for her friend and ultimately used her ability. Her abilities were constantly growing and changing and expanding, every day something new was apparent or an ability she already had was deeper somehow, more connected to the ether around her. Jonas told Peter that he had every right to be anxious and worried that Zachary had placed his pixie where he had. Daniel spoke up then as did Phil and they both said the same thing at virtually the same time, although Daniel’s statement was almost whispered Phil’s was not ‘WHAT are we going to do about the traitor’.
