***Jonas POV***
I had joined the group now and welcomed them all. I shook Peter’s hand and told him we will discuss everything in my office later. Peter nodded his head and looked again at the three women still hugging each other.
I walked over to Genni and gently pulled her out of the embrace. I could see tears in her eyes, but I knew they were tears of joy. 'Just you wait', I thought, then checked myself, hoping Genni had not read my mind. Lucky for me, Genni was far too engrossed in her friends.
''Shall we sit down, how long are you staying? Genni tried to herd them into the living area of the pack house, but I stopped her.
“I’m not finished giving you your surprise yet little wolf”, Peter walked back to the door and gestured to someone. I could see the eagerness in her to see who it was, she was standing on tiptoes. I heard a gasp of delight, a scream of incredulity, and a sob all in one, as Genni rushed forward into the arms of her brother, Lucas. My heart was so full of love for her, as I saw the joy on her face at seeing her family again. I knew then we had all made the right decision.
***Genevieve POV***
I was sobbing now. Lucas just picked me up and said laughingly, “Hey Sis, you're supposed to be happy to see me, what's with all the tears?” Still holding my brother tight, I said through the hiccups I was just overjoyed to see him.
“I’ve missed you so much, you big lug,” I said, slapping him on the arm. laughing now Lucas put me down and Feigned an injury where I had hit him. I rolled my eyes at him, then looked at Jonas and asked if we should sit down now.
Jonas just shrugged his shoulders. I eyed him to see if I could read anything on his face, but nothing was showing. Jax was doing a good job of thinking up all sorts of crap, so Sapphire couldn’t hear anything that way. There was a knock on the front door, and Jonas suggested I open it.
Walking quickly, I wrenched open the heavy wooden door, and the sight of the person standing there sent me to my knees. Fortunately, the person standing by the open door managed to catch me before I hit the floor.
Alpha Daniel picked up his daughter and held me tight to him. Rubbing my back, we both cried.
Alpha Daniel looked at my mate, then at his Beta Peter.
I could see that there was a mind link between the two men, and waited until they finished, before saying softly that we could all go and sit down now. Clinging to my father, I held out my other hand to Sara, who eagerly grasped it as we all walked to the living area together.
When we all had a seat and my breathing had returned to normal, I managed to ask how all this had happened. I wanted to know how long they were all staying, so I could optimise my time. I wanted to spend a lot of time with all of them.
Jonas stroked the top of my hair and said 'There is plenty of time for all that, why don’t you and Sara take some time together now? I’m sure you’ll find something to talk about.” Smiling up at my mate, I jumped up and grabbed Sara by the hand.
''Thank you for this Jonas. Words can’t describe how happy I am at this moment.” I reached up to him and planted a swift but hard kiss on his lips, ''will you all be okay here for a few minutes? We won’t be long”.
***Jonas POV***
Brushing away her worries, I told her to stop being silly and go already! I watched as they hurried out of the large room. Genni and Sara had already started chatting. the smile she sent me as they went through the door would be etched in my memory. I was in my own world for a moment but was pulled back by Alpha Daniel.
“You love her very much, don’t you?” Nodding, I sat next to Lucas and replied “More than my own life, Genni is everything to me”. Alpha Daniel smiled softly and nodded at me to show his pleasure that his daughter was well cared for and loved.
Straightening up, I became all business for a moment. “I would appreciate it if no one told Genni or Sara what is going to happen. I know she will be upset for a moment, but I’m sure Genni will see the bigger picture soon enough”. Standing up, Alpha Daniel agreed, shaking my hand firmly. He asked if they could be shown where they would be sleeping.
''You're all in the pack house if that’s okay with you all. I’m sure Genni will want you all close, and I do have a few suites that you could both use. They both have two bedrooms, an en-suite in the master and a bathroom for the other guest”. I explained the structure of the pack house to tell all.
''The ground floor has the dining room/canteen where breakfast, dinner and supper are available to all. The ground floor also has two large living areas, the one we are all currently in, and the other, which is similar in size to this room, but has the TV, games consoles, that type of thing. My office is also on this floor. Plus, there are ten single bedrooms available to any pack member whenever they are needed. '' Everyone was nodding their heads to show they understood.
''My housekeeper Martha looks after these rooms, as well as being the pack cook. The second floor has another ten bedrooms, but these are double rooms for mates who want to stay. Again Martha deals with them. There are also the two suites I mentioned earlier. One on either side of the floor. This is where you will all be staying. The third floor holds a small apartment. My parents are currently using it. The floor also contains the grand Luna's office, and on either side of her office are smaller rooms, which will hold her Beta and Gamma when she has chosen them'.
The top floor has two apartments. One for the grand Alpha and the other for his Beta. That floor is always under guard. I will let my guys know you will have complete access''.
When I had finished speaking, we were on the second floor. I gestured to my right and asked the Urbanas to follow me so I could show them to their suite. Peter gave a small bow of his head at his Alpha and Lucas, and with Molly in tow disappeared into the suite.
***Lucas POV***
Dad and I were left alone for a few minutes, so I started whispering to him in a rushed and excited tone, “This guy must be rolling in some substantial dough” and I rubbed my forefinger and middle finger together. My father frowned at me and scolded me for saying such a shallow thing.
''We have no interest in his wealth, our only purpose for being here is to ensure your sister is supported for what is to come”. Flushing a little at my father’s tone, I apologised, hurrying on “I know that Dad, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to sound flippant, it was just an observation”.
I tried to look as contrite as possible in front of my father, and to my relief, he was forced to drop it as Jonas came back out of the room. But if a glare could kill, I'd be six feet under. Following Jonas down a hallway, Dad and I could see into a few rooms, as the doors were left open.
Peering in as we passed, we could see that every room was immaculately clean, and looked comfortable. However, when we were shown into the room, Dad and me would be sharing, my jaw dropped. We both looked around at what could only be called a small apartment.
''Grand Alpha Jonas, are you sure you want us to stay in such a beautiful room? We don’t mind staying in the single rooms”. As I said this, I looked at my father, who was nodding in agreement.
Jonas wouldn’t hear of it, he told us both that Genni would have his head if he put them anywhere else. Then all three of us laughed at the thought of Genni giving Jonas hell. We were laughing so loud we didn’t hear the two girls coming back.
Jonas told Sara where she was staying and pointed to the other end of the hallway. As she turned her head to follow Jonas's finger, I said ''Your parents are already in their suite, they said they were going to have a rest before dinner''. It was nice to see the smile on my sister's face. She had her best friend back.
***Genevieve POV***
Sara ran lightly down the hall to the door Jonas had indicated, calling back to me that she would see me later. Then she too disappeared into the room.
“You two get settled in, and Jonas and I will see you later for dinner. You will meet Jonas‘s wonderful parents Rosemary and Phil. They have been so nice and welcoming to me, I’m sure you will love them as much as I do”.
Smiling at my Father and Lucas, I grasp their hands for a second, before leaving the room and closing the door. I held out my hand for Jonas, who grasped it straight away. We walked up the next two flights of stairs to our apartment.
I was so happy. I tried to express to Jonas how much his gift had meant to me. But words seemed to fail me. I smiled at my gorgeous man as a few ideas flitted about my mind.
I spoke my head slightly and Jonas noticed and asked me what was wrong. I said nothing, I mean, how do you tell your mate that pornographic images were currently flitting about my mind thanks to my perverted wolf?
