Chapter 29
Princess Yvonne's POV
My heart was pounding rapidly in my chest as I couldn't imagine the Shame and what the Lunas would say about me if I told them he hadn't marked me.
"Come on, show us the mark," they all said.
I didn't know what to do but then, an idea suddenly came to my mind, "Alright let me show you," I said and they all gazed at me anxiously.
I made my hand to remove my hair from my neck when I suddenly screamed in pain, "Aaah! My stomach! My stomach is hurting." I lied and they all rose off from their seats to hold me, "Luna Yvonne! Are you alright?! What did you take?" They asked, worriedly.
I squeezed my eyes in pain, making them scared the more, "I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my lower abdomen, it hurt so much!!" I said.
The plumpy one of them looked at me worriedly, "Are you on your monthly flow? If you are not, it may be the sign that your flow is about to come," She said and I felt grateful to her because she just gave me a wonderful excuse to leave their mist.
I gazed up at her as I continued squeezing my face in pain, "You may be right, I'm supposed to see my monthly flow today." I said.
They all turned their gaze on me, "How are you going to explain to Alpha Nathan tonight if he's trying to... uhm." one of them said and they all laughed.
"Well, he will understand." I said with a smile before standing up from my seat, " Please, you ladies excuse me, I need to use the restroom." I said and I used that opportunity to leave there immediately.

I was walking through the hallway that led to the balcony to go and get fresh air when I bumped into Princess Petra," Good evening, my princess." I greeted them with a smile.
This is the second time I'm seeing her after the wedding and I must confess she is one hell of a beauty.
She looked at me with a smile, "Good evening, Princess Yvonne." she greeted,
" Sorry, my manners, you are now Luna Yvonne." she corrected.
"Yeah, right," I said and we both laughed.
She placed my palm on hers as she gazed at me, "Sorry, I haven't got time to congratulate you properly, let's hang out tomorrow." She said with an apologetic look.
I was flabbergasted by her actions because she did not portray what I heard about her. I heard she's so proud and despises her brother's first mate.
I smiled at her as I squeezed her hand gently, " I will love that."
She left after informing me that she wanted to see a friend of hers.
I stepped onto the balcony and saw a small hallway that led to the other end, I strolled through the hallway and I was stunned when it led to a beautiful garden, "Wow! This is beautiful!" I exclaimed.
Suddenly, I heard voices and I curiously paced towards the direction of the sound quietly and I saw Alpha Nathan discussing with his Beta.
"This is where he was? He left me alone in the throne room just to come and chat with his Beta here?" I was angry and sad.
I made my way there, he spun around and glared at me as his gaze fell on me, "What are you doing here?!" he asked irritably.
I felt a pang in my chest as I blinked away the tears that were threatening to come out, "You left me alone in the throne room so, I became bored and decided to look for you." I said, pitiful as I tried to control my anger.
He looked at me with anger written all over his face, "Do I look like a baby that needs to be looked after? I told you that I needed to attend to an important matter and you still decided to come and search for me as a baby that I am?!" he yelled out and gave me a dangerous glare that sent a shiver down my spine.
I inhaled more air as I clenched my hands and gritted my teeth to calm myself, "I am sorry your Highness, I didn't mean to defile your order." I swallowed my pride and apologized.
"Get out!" He commanded irritably.
I exited the place fuming with anger as I looked for something to vet my anger on.
I was pacing towards my room in fury when I saw one of my maids, I called out for her.
She ran towards me, "Good evening, your Highness." She greeted me, bowing her head.
"Bring me a wine in my room," I instructed her and left for my room.

Alpha Nathan's POV
My gaze fell on Yvonne who was standing and glaring at me.
I was irritated by her presence, "Why is she trailing me around? Must she follow me here?" I screamed in my head.
I ordered her to leave immediately as I couldn't stand her presence.
I turned my attention to James after Yvonne exited the garden, "I will go and see that man right away." I informed James.
"Alright, your Highness."
I left the garden and went to find the man that James gave me the address.

I disguised myself as an ordinary person as I entered the bar where I was to meet the man, " I want to see this person," I said to the bar attendant as I handed over a small piece of paper to him.
He gazed at it as he looked at me suspiciously, "That way." he directed.
I followed the directions and I went into a small room where I saw a man sitting on an old wooden chair, sipping wine.
I cleared my throat and he snapped his head at me, " You are here? I have been waiting for you, your Highness."
"Your Highness? Did you know me?" I asked and he removed his hat to reveal his face, leaving me stunned.
"You!!" I exclaimed.
