Chapter 27
Alpha Ransfort's POV
Since the time the doctor asked me not to allow Catherine to engage in stressful activities, I have made sure to keep an eye on her.
I can't bear to see anything happen to her because I need her for my plans to work out. But, I must confess that she's a very hard working woman.
I have been seeing her so engrossed in her work that she doesn't have time to eat well. I called Lina to inform her about it and she suggested that I should order food for her in her office.
" What if I order the food for both of us? Is it not a bad idea if I make her eat with me in my office?" I thought before ordering two packs.
I called her on the phone and told her to see me in my office immediately.
I sat down on my table anxiously, with my heart thumping on my chest, " What is this feeling, why did my heart skip?" I murmured to myself as I rubbed my chest.
I heard a knock on the door and I knew immediately that she was the one. I cleaned my face with my hand and checked my reflection properly before picking an apple, sat on the table, and asked her to come in.
She stepped in and gave me a bright smile, making my heartbeat. I controlled myself and brought the food I had ordered, placed it on the table, and served her.
I stared at her beautiful face as I continued picking the vegetables for her.
She was about to choke on her food and I poured her juices, she mistakenly split the juice on her body and I swiftly ran to bring a tissue to clean it for her.
I felt her soft lips on my hand as I was wiping it, making me wonder how it would taste so I kissed her as I couldn't control myself anymore.
I saw the surprise on her face and I quickly pulled back as I fought to control myself, "This is not the right time." I reminded myself.
I secretly texted my company's boutique manager to bring the most beautiful and expensive gown in the store as I gave her Lina's size.
I was mesmerized by her beauty when I entered my dressing room and saw how the dress fit her perfectly.
I had to try my best not to jump on her as I noticed that my monster had awakened.
I distanced myself from her when we rode home in the same car.

I was sitting in my room, touching my lips as I remembered how soft and sweet Catherine's lips were.
I can't wait to have a taste of her. I smiled when I remembered the way her breasts were soft and a little bit bursty when I was cleaning her body at the office.
I didn't know what she had done to my feelings as I couldn't help thinking of doing all sorts of dirty things with her even when her baby bumps were now showing.
"Aarrh!" I groaned as I felt that I was already hard on by just thinking about her.
I need to be patient, I wouldn't want her to suspect me. I want to make her fall deeply in love with me.
"Why are you smiling to yourself?" I was startled by Lina's voice.
I broke out of my trance as I sat up properly, adjusting my pants so she wouldn't see my erect dick.
"I.. I was just thinking about our beautiful moments together." I lied as I rose off from my seat and gave her a warm hug.
" Aww! That's so romantic," she replied and gave me a soft kiss on my lips.
We moved to sit down on the bed with my hand resting on her waist.
She turned her gaze to me with a smile," Guess what my love?!" she asked anxiously.
I was a little bit confused as I couldn't think of what could have made her happy like this when I suddenly thought of something that I prayed against as I wasn't ready for that now because I had a mission to accomplish, " Wait! Don't tell me that you are pregnant?!" I asked.
"Far from that, love."
"Then what could it be?!"
"Well, I think that Catherine is gradually falling in love with you."
I felt my heart skip a beat as I couldn't believe what I just heard, "Really?! How did you know?"
"I saw how she blushed when she told me that you got that beautiful gown for her."
"Wow! How sure are you?" I asked as I felt excited by the news. I have always thought that she only saw me as an Alpha that was just trying to help her.
"I'm a woman and I know when a woman is falling for a man, like you smile by talking or thinking about him just like the way you were smiling now when you were thinking about me."
Her last sentence caught me off guard, "Huh! smiling when I was thinking about you?!" I asked and she frowned slightly as I quickly changed my statement " No, I mean yes, I was smiling when I was thinking about you because you are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen." I said, pulling her closer and giving her a tender kiss on her lips.
" This is good news for us. That means, our plan is gradually being accomplished." I said, excitedly and she nodded in agreement
She raised her head, looking at me sadly, "You know, I love that gown you bought for her and I was a little bit jealous when she told me that I got it for her."
I smiled at the way she behaved like a child, "Don't worry, I'm going to get you more beautiful clothes." I promised her. She left after picking up her credit card.

It was getting late at night and I was preparing to shower before going to bed.
I was about to enter the bathroom when I heard Catherine's voice, screaming and pleading not to be taken to the dungeon.
I dashed out of my room at once to see who had the guts to come into my palace to take Catherine as I mind-link my guards to stay alert.
