CHAPTER THIRTY NINE

Bella's POV

Fiona and I are busy cleaning the Queen's room and every other places in her residence. I could remember that today's the day that Melissa is coming back to the mansion because the Queen's family are going back to their various places. I really missed her so much because I can feel her absence around me but since she's coming back today I'm very happy to hear that.

We quickly went to the kitchen to clean and cooked breakfast for everybody. I quickly do everything and when I heard that she's back to her apartment I rushed out of the kitchen to go to her room, whereas I meet her on the highway coming to the kitchen. She run to me and hugged me tightly and she said "I miss you so much bella, being there I thought I won't be able to see you again" Melissa said happily

"Same here too" I miss you so much Melissa, I hug her again, so how's everything when you were there? Hope they don't give you any problem. I asked her

"Nothing much, life is good over there and I love everything about that place but I love you more" she said and we laughed

"Melissa, are you okay because I know you are happy to be here but your mind is not here, what is wrong? Do you want to go back there? Don't you miss me at all? Are you deceiving me about all what you are saying since? If that's the case I'm very disappointed in you" I said feeling disappointed already

"Don't say that, you know what we can't discuss this matter here, let's go to my room to discuss it there" I quickly drag her taking the path that led to her room, she made her way into a bed sit and as soon as we got to her room, she said I should also sit down on her bed while she curled up on the bed, crying.

"Melissa, what's the problem?" I asked her and immediately she stand up from the bed and came close to me crying and which I got up to give her a hug though I don't know what is wrong with her yet.

"He broke things off with me. He said I wasn't good enough for him" Melissa said as she kept crying.

What really happened between you and him? Because I don't understand the sudden break up. I said

I don't even understand him because nothing happened before I left here but since a week ago I'm trying to call him but he did not pick up, though then I thought maybe he is busy or something that's why he didn't pick my calls, so today since I'm coming today I decided to surprise him but to my own surprise, when I get to his room I saw him with another lady which I don't even know if she's from this mansion or not because I haven't see her before. She said

What did he said when you saw him? I asked her

Bella, that's where the problem is because when I asked him of my offense for him to do that to me, he didn't say anything, he just said that he's not interested in me again and he doesn't love me anymore,i begged him not to do that to me but he refused and embarrassed me in front of the lady, Melissa said and I can feel her pained

"He's such an animal and I hate to say that I knew it would end up this way and you know I warned you when you told me about him then, I can't believe he did this to you" I replied while wiping her face.

"I mean, he's nothing but a womanizer"

"He isn't like that...it's just that Samue–"

"Samuel toyed with you and now that he's found another girl, he has dump you" I said in a straightforward manner.

"Samuel isn't–" Melissa wants to defend him while I cut her short

Why do you like defending him? Even now that he has broke up with you. I said aggressively

"Have always known that this will happen. I mean when you told me about you dating him, I knew something like this will happen but when you kept going out with him for six months, I thought that you've somehow touch his heart but I can see now that that will be impossible"

"Bella, you've got it all wrong, let me –"

"You don't have to defend that creep and it's best that you get some rest. Go and take a bathe while I prepare you something to eat" I cut her off abruptly.

"But you said you were going to called your sister if she has been employed into the company" Melissa reminded.

"I can do that tomorrow. You matter more" I replied before moving into her wardrobe to take some clothes for her so that she can wear after bathing.

I knew it was going to end bad when Melissa told me about her dating Samuel not because I know he will break up with her but because I knew that the relationship won't last longer because of what happened to her sister then, when I pray she overcome the situation.

But I didn't want to be seem like a busy body and that's why I didn't say anything about the relationship. They've been dating for the past six months and also before I got here I thought that somehow, she will find peace with herself, I had manage to tame her but then– the creep will always be a creep.

I thought as I clench my fist in anger. Men like Samuel deserves to be taught a lesson for breaking the heart of poor girls and she can only think of one way to do that.

With a plan etch in mind, I noticed that she has slept off and I decided to go to my room with the intention to check back on her when she wakes up.
