CHAPTER THIRTY EIGHT
Shane's POV
The next morning, I decided to drive Jessica to the mall so that she can get whatever she wants. She went inside while I stay in the car.
I noticed a figure which looks like Kelly went inside the mall, I saw her moved closer to Jessica and showed a gun in her picked and Jessica flinched. I quickly moved closer to them
"Don't try to play smart,just follow me quietly.Any word from you,your head is gone" I heard Kelly said.
Jessica was about to move when my voice stopped them.
"Touch a strand of her hair and you are gone" I said dangerously.
Kelly flinched and almost fell but she held herself.
"I decided to come pick her,I saw everything you were trying to do.What the f**k do you want from her" I shouted.
"I've been trying to be calm all these while but I can see you are not ready to change" I continue.
"I love you and I mean it,I know I was wrong that time but I am back for you now" Kelly cried.
"I can see you are insane,stay away from her or you regret it" I said coldly and left with Jessica .
When we get home, Jessica was so scared about what happened earlier then she said
"I am really tired of her,what do she really want? Did she want to ruin your life?" Jessica groaned out.
"She can't do anything to you when I am here" Shane replied.
"Are you sure?" She asked.
"Yes,even if it's meant costing my life" He said seriously.
"No,not your life" She said and hugged him.
"Are you ready for school?" He asked and she nodded.
"So let's go,you are getting late, I also have to go work now and I've already hired a new driver for you" Shane said and they stood up leaving the mansion.

"Hey" A girl called and settled besides Jennifer.
"Are you the new student my friends are talking about ?" She asked.
"Yeah" well, I don't know the friends you're talking about though? Jennifer smiled.
"I am Cindy,you?"
"Jennifer "
"Can we be friends?" She asked.
"Yeah,sure" She responded.
"You are pretty" She said and she smiled.
"Are you enjoying the school?" Cindy said
"Yes,everything here is nice" She answered.
"Really?" hope you don't mind if I ask you to join my group so that we'll be reading together and I will be happy if you can accept, cindy said
"Yeah" No problem, Jennifer said and they smiled at each other.
Jessica was walking along the park when a sudden car stopped her.
A masked guy came down from the car.
"Who are...you" She stuttered.
The guy sniffed something into her nose and she dozed off.

Jessica was tied to the chair and she suddenly wake up.
"Where am I?" She managed to ask.
"You are finally wake" Kelly said.
"Kelly" Jessica called but a slap descended on her face.
"You slapped me?"
"And I will slap you again, don't let me hear my name from your mouth.Am I fool?? Don't you remember the way you beat me blue back.You delayed my time, Do you want to marry your brother? I thought everything was going to be easy but you're ruining my plan, asshole" Kelly fired angrily.
Clinton came into the building and her shock got doubled.
"Clinton"
"Jessica?"

"I want to tell you something important" Clinton said.
"What is it,babe" Jessica asked.
"I don't know how you are going to take this,but i am done with this relationship" He said and she laughed.
"Are you a comedian? You are so funny" She said.
"I am not joking,I am serious,I don't love you anymore.It's over,just get it straight" Clinton snapped and walked out angrily.
"Clin...ton" She said shockingly and fell on her knees.

"Do you know each other?" Kelly asked.
"I dated her long time ago in high school" Clinton replied.
"What do want from me and my brother?" Jessica cried.
"We don't want anything from you,we only want shane" Clinton said.
"You want my brother? But why?" She asked.
"Stop asking us question,you will understand soon" Clinton said.
Kelly dialled a number and put it on loud speaker.
📞Your sister is with us,we will send a address to you,come meet us there without bringing cops if you want her life.
Shane, Jessica cried.
"📞What,please don't.
He didn't get the chance to talk before she ended the call.
"Let's see if he will come and rescue you"
✓Few minutes later✓
Shane rushed in breathlessly.
"jessy" He muttered.
"Kelly... Clinton"
"Are you shocked?,we just need to sign here then we release her to you" Clinton said and stretched a document to him.
"Are you going to be fast?? There is a bomb timer around her body!" He continued.
He collected the documents with shaky hands.
"A contract to marry Kelly" He thought inwardly and signed the documents.
"Done,release her" Shane said.
Kelly loses the rope around her and Melissa got freed.
"Shane" Jessica mumbled and went to hug him tightly.
Kelly smiled unknowingly and brought out the gun.
She was about to pull the trigger to Jessica but Shane blocked it by pushing Jessica away.
And the bullet hit his back and he fell flatly on the ground.
Shane!, you can't do this to me, you can't leave me alone in this terrible world, you're the only one that I know since our parents die you can't leave me now. Jessica cried bitterly as she placed Shane head on her legs. She face Kelly and Clinton "Since you have killed him, come and marry him now, just know that I'm coming back for you.
Kelly and Clinton quickly ran through the door to avoid being caught and Jessica call 911 for emergency.
