CHAPTER 40

"the coffee" Kalee mouthed.

"Coming" I mouthed back.

Today is a super busy day for everyone of us. Steven, Kalee and I. Just like the other day, sobrang daming customer ni Kalee and it's a good thing kahit nakakapagod.

"Here you're coffee sir."

He smiled at me "Thank you"

I was about to go back in the kitchen, suddenly I felt so dizzy.

"Ghad." I blurted out. Since yesterday lagi nalang akong nahihilo.

"Are you okay?" Hinawakan ni Steven ang balikat ko.

I nod my head "Nahilo lang ako, sa pagod lang siguro"

"Take a rest first."

Pumasok ako sa office ni Kalee at nag pahinga.

"I'll get you pregnant"

That words keeps on haunting me for almost a month already. What if Sandro really mean those words?

Hindi pa din ako dinadatnan.

Napa hawak ako saaking tyan. "I'm not yet ready for that"

"Do you want this?" Inilapit saakin ni Steven ang garlic bread na kinakain nya. Mabilis akong lumayo dahil pakiramdam ko ay naduduwal ako.

Nag titigan kaming dalawa.

"Reese" seryosong tawag nito saaking pangalan.

He's staring at me. "Are you pregnant?"

Natigilan ako at walang nasagot.

I know something was wrong with me. I'm just so afraid to face it.

"Reese"

"I don't know" naiiyak kong sagot at tinalikuran sya.

"Si sandro ba?" I can feel pain in his voice. Ayoko syang tignan.

Kahit hindi ko alam kung buntis ba ako o hindi. Sumagot ako.

"Yes" I whispher.

The night after that, pag uwi ko bumili ako ng pregnancy test and I was right.

I'm pregnant.

I feel like my world shattered into pieces. What am I going to do?

Ate tell me, what am I supposed to do?

"How's the test?"

Mahabang katahimikan ang bumalot saamin. I can hear his breath kahit sa phone lang kami nag uusap.

"I'm pregnant, Steven"

"Damn it" narinig kong mura nito.

"What did you let that thing to happend?" I can say na he's really mad.

"I'm so sorry Steven. I was out of my mind."

"What's your plan?"

I sigh "I don't know"

"Should I tell him?" I asked.

He didn't answer. I heard him take a sigh. A deep sigh.

"All this time, you still love him, huh?"

This time, ako naman ang hindi naka sagot. I don't know why but I felt sad knowing na I hurt steven this time again.

Kahit hindi nya sabihin I know he still feel the same. He still likes me and I hate myself for not loving him back.

"You need to make a decision, Reese"

And he hang up the call.

"If this thing happend to you, what will you do?"

I'm staring at her picture.

"Tell me ate, what am I supposed to do? I can't do this all alone. I'm not yet ready for this responsibility. What if he/she grew up not having a perfect family? He/she might blamed me for that"

"And, is it okay to you? I'm pregnant. This baby is Sandro's baby" I added.

Para akong baliw, hindi ko na alam kung ano ba ang dapat kong gawin. I'm so frustrated. Gusto kong sabihin ang lahat kay Kalee but I'm scared. But I need to.

I need to tell her everything.

"I can't help you today, Kalee"

She looked at me, and she raised her eyebrow. "Why?"

"Grayson is coming" she added.

I bit my lower lips. This is the right time para sabihin sakanila ang lahat.

"Ayan na pala sya"

I looked at the door and Grayson is smiling while walking.

"Hey" He said.

"Gwapo ah" Natatawang puna ni Kalee sakanya.

Mas lalo akong kinabahan sa pag dating ni Grayson.

"You look pale"

"I'm not" mabilis kong sagot.

"Is there something wrong?" Tanong pa ulit ni Grayson.

Parehas silang naka tingin saakin ngayon at hinihintay ang magiging sagot ko.

"I'm pregnant" and just like that.

"what?" Gulat na tanong ni Kalee habang si Grayson ay nakatitig lang saakin.

"What are you saying? Its not a good joke, Reese"

I clear the lump on my throat at kinuha ang pregnancy test na nasa bag ko.

"I'm pregnant"

"With sandro's baby" I added.

"ARE YOU FUCKIN CRAZY?!" Sigaw nito, buti nalang ay wala pang tao kaya kami lang ang naka rinig sa pag sigaw nito.

"Ilang buwan na?" Tanong ni grayson at hinawakan ang aking kamay.

"I don't know. Hindi pa ako naka pag pa check up"

"OMG. When did it happend?"

I can't grasp the fact that I'm pregnant but I'm trying to. I don't wanna hurt this baby. He/she didn't do anything wrong.

"Alam na ba ni Sandro?"

I convulse my head. Kalee drank a lot of water and looked at me.

"Mag patingin ka and you need to meet Sandro right now and asked him to help you! Hindi mo lang anak yan. Anak nya din"

"I'm planning to meet him today"

"Do you want me to help you?" Pag iinsist ni Grayson but I said no. I need to do this alone.

"Okay, just please take good care of yourself huh?"

Things really happend so fast. I don't even know why I let that thing happend in the first place. I should have stop myself.

Ghad. You're so stupid, Reese Allison.

"What brings you here?"

I know I love him, I'm just feeling guilty about what happend to my ate and I don't think I deserve to be happy but I don't want this baby to grew up not having a complete family.

Just this time, I want to be selfish.

"You have a big project huh?" I looked around his office. Sobrang organized ni Sandro.

"Yeah" simpleng sagot nito.

"Do you need something?" Tanong pa ulit nito.

I close my eyes take a deep breath. I need to do this, not just for myself, but for this baby. "I'm pregnant, Sandro"

Hindi sya nagulat, ngumiti ito na para bang nanalo sya ng lotto at tumalon sa tuwa.

"Yezz! I knew it! 3 pts for Sandro!" He scream.

He planned all this. Looks like pinikot lang ako ni Sandro.

"Let's go to the nearest hospital, Allison. I'm so happy!"
