Confronting Alexander about John

Greta first reaction was to wonder if Randy knew about Alexander’s strange beast ears. She glanced at him and saw that his complexion wasn’t much better, but his expression seemed more shocked by Alexander’s casual exposure of his ears than by the ears themselves.

“Alexander, do you care if we have a moment alone? I would like some private time please.” Anxiously, he kept looking at the papers on his desk. “Sure, Randy, do you mind leaving and giving us a moment by ourselves?” Alexander said to Randy while picking up his pen while looking through some papers.

“No problem, I will step out and come back in an hour or so.” Randy turned and walked out shutting the door behind him.

After Randy left Alexander looked up to Greta, “So, what do you want to talk about Greta?” He asked her.

“Well, I saw furry ears on your head Alexander. And I remember seeing a tail on you the other day. Want to explain?” She asked him.

“No.”

“That’s it? Just, no?” she asked him, raising both hands in the air in frustration. “I know I’m not losing my mind. I saw what I saw.” She raised her voice to him.

Greta felt that Alexander was looking at her with an unusual concentration, as if a devout worshipper praying to her with pure loyalty and hope. Is he hoping I will figure this out, or is he hoping he can trust me? She thought to herself while shaking her head.

“I saw two fuzzy ears on top of your head, the bent backwards then disappeared.”

“I have no clue what you’re talking about Greta. Now if you don’t mind, I have work to do is there anything else you would like to discuss with me?

“Why don’t you…. tell me…..why you are here on the ship and give me a honest answer and not dance around the question like you did last time. I answered yours so answer mine.” He leaned forward and his eyes turned dark gold. His tone of his voice changed to a deeper darker voice.. noticing this she decided to go softer on him.

“Well Alexander, I care for you. I’m here because of you…that is why. I left everything to follow you.” She had been trying to figure out how someone could get so far away but stood right in front of her and was totally different. In her past life they had so many memories together.

She didn’t mention that she was supposed to be married to Reynard and she needed a way out.

He watched her as she talked. Trying to size her up and figure her out. If she only knew how I could lose control. I could hurt her if I cared for her. A woman made a mess of my life before and I killed everyone around her. I don’t want to have to do that again. It was me that killed Alexander, everyone that hurt her I wanted revenge and that’s what I got. Simon was trying to make Alexander realize he wasn’t the one but Simon that killed everyone that hurt her.

Greta slowly walked up to him, moving around the desk till she was in front of him. He was sitting in his chair. Pushing her hair behind her shoulders she bent down, placing her hands on the sides of his face. “I care for you Alexander, slowly inching closer to his lips, she slowly opened her mouth looking at him under her thick lashes.

Alexander caught the sweet scent again. Watching her inch closer to his lips, feeling her warm hands on his cheeks. He watched her lips brush against his. Sparks ignited in his chest as she softly brushed her lips against his. Her tongue peeked out and licked his bottom lips.

Simon pushed his way to take over for Alexander. Making sure the ears and tail stayed hidden. Simon grabbed her waist and tugged her between his legs. Placing a hand behind her head, wrapping his fingers into her thick hair. Pressing harder into her lips till they were swollen from his kiss. He hungrily kissed her.

She felt like there was a change in his mood, this wasn’t a soft loving kiss from Alexander it was a forceful hungry kiss from someone else. Placing her hands on his chest she pushed him away. Alexander gaining control over Simon and pushing him back into Alexanders mind.

Greta was trying to catch her breath; her beautiful red lips were swollen. He looked at her “I’m sorry, it wasn’t supposed to be like this.” Alexander didn’t know what else to say. She straightened up and took a few steps back.

Smiling at Alexander, she cleared her throat. “It was perfect Alexander, I enjoyed it.” Why did it change, does he have a split personality? She was thinking to herself, but she did enjoy the kiss, just enjoyed the softer kiss better than the one that almost gave her a bloody lip.

Let’s eat, there’s enough food for two people. Taking her hand, he sat her down on the bed and gave her one of the plates of food. He took the other and walked over to the desk. They ate mostly in silence, occasionally one of them would make small talk.

Alexander kept tasting Greta lips on his and her scent was lingering in the air. She caught him looking over at her and she smiled. First base is done, now I just must move on to second base. Maybe everything will work out like she planned and won’t have to marry Albert and never. Greta did miss praying with the people that would come in every Sunday or anytime of the week for that matter. She missed her carefree life before she was murdered, also, her sisters she loved so much. I wonder if they are happy with their lives that their father created for them. Shrugging her shoulders she will probably never know.
