Chapter 94 Birth.

Chapter 94 Birth.
Lily’s pov.
“Push, Lily!” Eric says loudly, the sounds of my screams echoing across the room.

I push with every fiber in my body, every last strength I have left.

I push with everything, screaming out my pain into the room.

Just as I think I can’t do it any longer, a small cry echoes through the room.

Silence follows after that, my heartbeat is the only thing I can hear.

“It’s a boy,” Eric whispers, laying my son down on my chest.

I look down at the tiny little creature, seeing his bright blue eyes and dark black hair…

His chubby little cheeks, and small nose.

“He’s… perfect,” I say with tears in my eyes, feeling so much love for him already.

“Don’t get comfortable yet, Lily,” Eric breaks the moment, a grimace on his face, “the next baby is going to be coming any minute.”

“Raya,” I mumble, unable to tear my eyes from the little life Creed and I created, “take him, please, take him.”

Raya gets up wordlessly, a nervous look on her face.

She slowly walks towards me, reaching out with shaky hands.

I place Maddox in Raya’s arms, tearing my eyes away from him.

Tears fall from my eyes as I feel my body start pushing again.

So much pain throughout my entire body.

I cry out as I feel one of my daughters being born.

“One of the baby girls!” Eric says, placing her into my chest quickly.

“Hello, Juniper…” I whisper softly, rubbing a finger against her little hand. Memorizing her blonde hair and green eyes, that are so much like her fathers.

She doesn’t cry, she just opens her little eyes, cooing as she looks at her mama.

More tears fall from my eyes as I know I don’t have much time with her.

My body starts to shake again as I look towards Raya.

She gives me a knowing look before walking closer… reaching towards me, taking Juniper away, to be put with her brother.

“Are you ready?” Eric asks, making me turn my head towards him, “we need to get these last two out quickly.”

“Yes,” I say, feeling strong even if my body physically isn’t.

Just as another scream tears out of my throat, the bedroom door opens, my grandmother bursting through with wide eyes.

“Lily!” She gasps, “I- I really didn’t think you’d deliver naturally, if I’d known-.”

“Stop,” I say, cutting her off, “let’s not worry about that right now, this baby is coming out!”

I push as hard as I can, feeling my third baby come out.

“Shh,” Eric soothes her softly. Her soft cries filled the room.

I look up at her, smiling as I see her blue, tear filled eyes looking at me.

I reach my shaky hands towards her, ready to hold her close.

Eric places her onto me with a huge smile on his face.

It’s weird that he had to be the one to deliver my babies but I’m just glad they are safe.

I place a small kiss on my girl's head.

Smiling down at her with so much love.

“Hello, Mazikeen…”

“Glenda,” Eric whispers to my grandmother, but I hear him, “the last baby, she’s stuck.”

“Move aside, let me have a look,” she says softly, examining my last little girl.

“Her shoulder is stuck. If we can’t get her out soon… she could die,” she whispers, looking at me with tear filled eyes.

“I’ll get her out,” I say determinedly, though, the way that my body feels says differently.

Contraction after contraction tears through me, unrelenting pain throughout my entire stomach.

Every twenty seconds another one hits me.

“She really needs to come out soon, Lily,” my grandmother says after half an hour of trying to push my last baby out.

“I know,” I manage to breath out, “I’m- im trying!”

I groan out as I feel my body trying to push my daughter out again, unbearable pressure down below.

“I see her head! Keep pushing!” My grandmother yells, making me grit my teeth as I continue to push even harder.

Just as my breath is taken away I hear a loud wail coming from my last baby.

“She’s beautiful, Lily,” my grandmother says over my daughter's cries.

She places her on my chest gently, examining her shoulder.

“Her shoulder is a little dislocated, I’m hoping it’ll heal quickly on its own,” she whispers while we look over her.

Her little blue eyes open and stare up at me, making me smile as I run my hand down the back of her brown hair.

“Hello, my baby Athena… you’re so beautiful,” I whisper to my daughter, feeling tears fall from my eyes.

I look over towards Raya, seeing my other babies huddled together in a bassinet, sleeping soundly.

I close my eyes and take a deep breath, knowing what I need to do next.

‘Sapphire,’ I whisper to my dragon, ‘it’s time… heal our body so we can get to battle.’

“Take her,” I mumble to my grandmother, holding Athena towards her.

Her eyes widen in shock as she looks from me to Athena, “why? Where could you possibly be going!?”

“I’m… im going to battle, they need me,” I say as I get out of bed, taking one last glance at Athena before walking towards my other babies.

I look over them, memorizing every little detail.

Wanting so badly to stay…

Knowing I can’t. There’s a battle going on outside… and they need me.

I place soft kisses on each of their heads, smiling sadly at their sleeping forms.

“You know what to do,” I say to Raya, “prepare yourself, you’re next.”

Raya sighs without a word, walking towards the bed and changing the sheets and blankets.

“I’m ready,” she says while laying down on the bed, her chest rising and falling rapidly.

“Just breathe. You can do this… I’ll try to help with the pain,” I mumble as I feel my magic rushing to the surface.
