Chapter 59 Santino's Order
Christov's P.O.V.
Finding Anushka and Dakota has changed everything. Anushka is supposed to receive 25% of the family business when Dakota turns 5, but she doesn't want it. I understand why she doesn't want her name associated with our family business, and I'll respect her wishes. However, I will still put them in my will.
I look at my will on the computer and decide how I want to word the changes. There are two parts of my will I want to change. One is how I want the money split between my kids, and I have a special clause for my grandchildren and future grandchildren.
Yurkov told me that he spoke to Corrine, and she's going to bring Luka to Dakota's birthday party. I'm glad. Corrine is the best thing that ever happened to Yurkov; he was just too hardheaded to see it. Hopefully, that has changed.
Dakota is my sweet and feisty little granddaughter. Before finding out about Anushka and Dakota, my sons and I lived in the same house but never spent time together. I thought a couple of them would have a problem having a sister, but I was wrong. I've seen changes in each of them.
The second part of my will I want to change may raise eyebrows, but it's the right thing to do. I knew this was what I was going to do after meeting Dakota and Anushka yesterday. Nothing else seemed to be quite right, but now it's perfect. I print it, sign it, and put it in my desk drawer. After sending an email to my attorney to come by tomorrow so I can give him the changes, I print out two more copies and sign them. One, I hide in the safe in the wall of my office, and the other, I hide in the safe in my bedroom. I trust no one other than my close family, so I keep multiple copies of important documents. I can rest easy tonight knowing that even when I'm gone, the whole family will be taken care of.

Trystan's P.O.V.
I don't know what to do. Deonte is busy making plans to go after Anushka. In the meantime, Franco also discovered that she has a four-year-old daughter, and they live with billionaire Jordan Holt. He found news of her being shot last week in an attempted kidnapping. This woman has been through enough, and I just added to her troubles. Why did I have to open my mouth? Better yet, why did Cora have to call me?
"What's going on?" Galdino asks. He's Santino's only son and next in line to be the boss. Deonte slaps my back.
"Your cousin here discovered that Christov has a family member we didn't know about. Franco has all her information, and she's Christov's only daughter." Please don't give me credit. I no longer want to move up in the family. I'm fine right where I am. Galdino lightly slaps the back of my head.
"That's fantastic. Now, how do we get to her?" He asks, looking over Franco's shoulder at what he'd found.
"I had one of the guys drive past the building she's living in, and they have a lot of security. Some of Christov's men are outside with men who I assume her boyfriend Jordan Holt hired. I can only imagine how many men they have inside the building. Anushka was shot in an attempted kidnapping last week, so they probably have her heavily guarded. She also has a four-year-old daughter." Deonte tells him. I'm so nervous, I want to leave and not be part of this, but if I go now, it will raise questions. I'm the one who started this, so I should want to be here to see it play out, but I don't.
I'm beginning to understand why my mom never wanted me to be around this part of our family. She warned me it wasn't all glamor, like on TV, but I didn't believe her. Now, I'm getting a heavy dose of reality, knowing that I may be responsible for an innocent woman's death.
"We need to watch them and see if they go anywhere. If we can't get Anushka, then we will get her daughter. We will get one of them and serve their head on a platter to Dad," Galdino says. We all turn when the front door of the restaurant opens. It's Santino.
"Whose head are you serving me?" he asks. Santino may be in his late fifties, but he looks almost as young as his son. He has thick black hair, black eyes, and a muscular build. Unlike some families who have their enforcers or others who do the killing, Santino doesn't mind getting his hands dirty.
"Trystan discovered that Christov Kondrati has a daughter and granddaughter," Deonte says. Santino smiles and rubs his hands together.
"Perfect; I've been waiting for this day for a long time. Let me see her." He walks behind Franco and freezes.
"Dad, what's wrong?" Galdino asks. I've never seen anything make Santino speechless. Why is the picture of Anushka causing this reaction?
"Who is her mother?" he asks in a whisper. Franco pulls up another screen.
"Gloria Wilkins was her married name. Her maiden name was Gloria Cannon," Franco replies as we all stare at Santino in shock. He looks like he's on the verge of tears.
"You will not touch this woman or her child," he says, still staring at the picture. I'm relieved, but everyone else is angry.
"Why not? This is our chance to finally get one over on him." Galdino asks. Santino shakes his head.
"You will not touch her. That is an order. I knew her mother. She looks just like her." I look around, and everyone is just as surprised as I am.
"How did you know her mother?" Galdino asks the question on all of our minds.
"She was the love of my life. She would have been my wife if I'd had my way."
