Chapter 162 Bye Jamie
Dakota's P.O.V.
I walk to the negotiation room. It's still funny to me that Grandpa Chrissy named this room the negotiation room. It's not really used for negotiations unless you consider the people in the chairs are negotiating how quickly they will die. I don't enjoy taking another person's life. However, when someone hurts my family, or they're involved in the deaths of others, then I figure they're getting what they deserve. I open the door, and Xavier has Jamie tied to a chair. Sarah is with him.
"What exactly do you think you're going to do to me? I didn't do anything wrong. I was kidnapped and taken to the bar." I ignore Jamie as I put on a pair of sparring gloves. I haven't worked out in a few days, so I'll consider this my workout.
"Let's try something new. For once, you're going to tell me the truth. Who put you up to getting kidnapped by Yegor?" I crack my neck as I circle around her.
"No one did." I walk behind her and pull her hair so she's looking up at me.
"That's a lie. I overheard your lying ass on the phone. Now, who were you talking to?" I look into her eyes, and she swallows nervously.
"I can't tell you, or he'll kill me." I pull her hair harder.
"Guess what? You're dead either way, so tell me what I want to know, and I'll make it quick. The longer you drag this out, the more pain you'll endure. You came into my house with my family to help someone else harm or kill us. Do you honestly think I'm going to let you walk out of here?" I shove her head forward and walk in front of her.
"You can't kill me. You don't have it in you." Jamie has the nerve to smirk, and I feel like slitting her throat, but that would be too quick. After the way she spoke to Rain, she deserves to suffer for that alone.
"Sweetheart, I've killed more people than you can count. Now who the fuck sent you here?" She looks away, so I punch her in the face. Not hard enough to knock her out, but hard enough to make her scream.
"Get away from me, you psycho bitch!" She hasn't seen psycho yet. I kick her in the chest, and her chair tips over so she's lying on her back.
"Who sent you here?" She spits out blood.
"Fuck you." Oh, this bitch has picked the wrong day to have a backbone.
"Untie her," I tell Xavier. He sets her chair up and removes her restraints.
"I knew you couldn't do it. How do I get out of here?" She stands, and I get into my fighting stance.
"You're not going anywhere. I just don't believe in kicking someone's ass when they can't try to defend themselves." Jamie runs toward me as I spin and kick her in the side. She stumbles and tries to run at me again. I wait for her to get close and punch her in the nose with a right hook.
"Are you ready to tell me who sent you?" She screams as blood pours out of her nose.
"If I'm going to die anyway, why should I tell you?" Jamie tries to come at me, but she's a lot slower now. I sweep her legs, making her fall onto her back, where she stays.
"I can drag this out for hours or days. If you tell me, then I won't make you suffer. Who sent you here?" I walk around her, but she doesn't move as she watches me.
"Quincy Faucett. He said I needed to find something that I could use to separate you and Ari. He wants to kill you so your families won't become united and be stronger than all the other families." I know that name, but I can't remember what he looks like. Grandpa Chrissy had me learn about all the families.
"He's the boss from one of the American families. Why did he want Yegor to kidnap you?" She still doesn't get up.
"He said if I got kidnapped, he would get me out and then have me report what happened to the police so he could try to get your family locked up. When I texted him and told him that you were there and shutting everything down, he told me to try to get into your house." She slowly sits up and wipes the blood from her face.
"Who are you to him?" I ask as I walk behind her.
"No one. Just someone he hired. I can pretend to be young and make people think I'm innocent. I've snuck into many businesses to get people's information. I've broken up some couples, too, by giving men what their women won't." She looks at Xavier, and Sarah steps in front of him.
"Eyes to yourself, bitch." I love her.
"You're not very good at your job. Your loud mouth is what got you into trouble. What were you going to say to Rain?" Jamie laughs.
"I was going to tell that worthless little idiot to keep her mouth shut." I've heard all I need to. I pull her hair so she looks up at me as I pull out my knife.
"See you in hell, you piece of shit." After I slit her throat, I shove her to the ground and wipe my blade on my pants.
