Chapter 145 Bye Yegor
Dakota's P.O.V.
"You can no longer be trusted. You have hurt too many people. Untie him." I crack my knuckles as Uncle Zaky unties him.
"You think you can fight me?" Yegor asks. Everyone stands back as I circle him.
"I know I can. You're nothing without a weapon. I am sick to death of people fucking with our family. We have enough people from the outside coming at us, so when one of our own goes against his own family, it hurts even more. I don't take pleasure in this. I loved you, but I won't cry when you're gone." I move toward him. He tries to punch me, but I duck and hit him hard in the ribs, causing him to curse. Yegor comes for me again, but I spin out of his reach and swing around to kick him in the face. While he's stumbling, I sweep his legs, and he lands hard on his back.
"Somebody make her stop. I am your brother." Yegor tries to get up, and I kick him in the side, sending him back to the floor.
"No one is going to help you. You have hurt us all with your actions. You turned your back on your own family because of your greed. Our family makes a lot of money, but above all, we respect and support each other. You have done none of that. Do you have anything else to say?" I step on his chest.
"Fuck you." Before I can do anything, Uncle Yorkie goes behind Yegor and snaps his neck.
"I didn't want you to live with that. I will." I hug him as I cry. I told Yegor I wouldn't cry for him, but it still hurt my heart that one of my uncles could do this. At least I know my other uncles have my back. They each take turns hugging me until I calm down.
"What would you like us to do with him?" Galdino asks.
"We don't want him in the family graveyard. Do what you would with him," Uncle Vicki says. Galdino nods, and his men take Yegor and the other man out of the room. Sarah hugs me as we return to the house after the uncles leave.
"I'm sorry you didn't get any punches in," I tell her.
"That's okay. Are you going back to the hospital?" I'm exhausted, but I need to be with Ari.
"Yes, after I say something to Noah and take a shower. I love you, sis." I hug her again.
"I love you too. Now, maybe Xavier and I can get back to what matters." I shake my head as she walks to her room. I go in the other direction and knock on Noah's door. He opens immediately and looks at me with disappointment.
"Were you expecting someone else?" I raise my eyebrows and look toward the door next to his. Noah's face turns bright red.
"I don't know what you mean." I follow him into his room and shut the door.
"I think you do. I'm going to shower and go back to the hospital, but I wanted to see how you were doing first." He sits on the side of his bed and sighs.
"I don't know. Kylie said she likes me and wants to have lunch with me. She makes me feel funny. I like it when she touches me, but I'm scared that she's going to realize I'm not good enough for her." Oh, my big, beautiful brother. I kneel down in front of him.
"I could see how she looked at you at the warehouse. I know this is new for you, but don't be scared. It sounds like she's coming from a bad place, and you were her knight in shining armor tonight. Try being her friend and see what happens. You deserve to be happy, Noah, just like everyone else." He smiles as he looks down.
"Thanks, Dakota. You always know how to make me feel better." I hug and kiss him before leaving the room. I hope I'm right about Kylie.
