Chapter 126 Help
Dakota's P.O.V.
I look at the blood on my mom's car, and I'm filled with fear and anger. What is wrong with this delusional asshole? If he hurts my mom in any way, I will make his torture last a lifetime. Every time he starts to die, I will bring him back just to torture him some more. I hold my phone up to my ear when I realize my dad is still there.
"Dad, she was kidnapped. The food and clothes are on the ground near her car, and there's blood on the car. I'm calling the police, but I already know who did this." I tell him as I look at the blood on the car. It's not a lot. My hope is that it's not my mom's blood and is actually from Dominick, if that's his real name.
"I'm on my way. Be careful." At least my dad doesn't expect me to sit back and do nothing. When it comes to my mom or any of our family, he can be just as ruthless as I am.
"I will." I disconnect the call and look at Yegor. As a mafia guy, he sure looks pale. Maybe he's been living the easy life for too long.
"Call the police and ask for Detective Klein. He knows our family. Tell him my mom is missing. I'm going to go into the hospital and see if they have any cameras in the parking lot so we can see what direction they went." Yegor nods and pulls out his phone. I run into the hospital and go to the security office. One of the men who took Aubrey away yesterday opens the door when I knock.
"What can I do for you, Miss Kondrati?" he asks.
"My mom was kidnapped in the parking lot. Probably about two hours ago. Do you have any cameras out there?" He nods, and I follow him into the office where two other men are sitting. They straighten up when they see me, but don't say anything.
"Miss Kondrati's mother was kidnapped from the parking lot. Let's see what we can find," the man who answered the door says. The other two begin looking at two computers, and the images on the wall of monitors begin rewinding. I see my mom's car pulling into the parking lot.
"Stop there. That's her car." I tell them. One of them pushes play, and we all watch. I see Mom park, then pull out bags of clothes and food. A man walks over to her and begins talking. I try to see his face, but I can't. Based on the size and hair color, I believe it is Dominick. They talk for a couple of minutes, and he begins to walk away. Mom closes her car door, and he turns around when her back is turned. I can see his face, and it is Dominick. He runs behind her and shoves her against the car. Mom drops her bag, spins around, and elbows him in the nose. He spits blood onto the car, and Mom tries to run away. Dominick grabs her arm and pulls her over to him. She tries to fight him off, but he overpowers her and pulls her away from her car. Come on, Mom, fight him. My hopes are dashed when a car pulls up, and Dominick pushes her into the back seat. The angle is too bad for me to see the license plate. At least I know he has help.
