Edwards pov .
It surprised me how val quickly changed her mind but still I was amazed by her decision , When I asked the guards to seize Eric and throw him into the deepest part of the dungeon ,I saw fear in her eyes but she couldn't say a word , She was silently pleasing for mercy on his behalf .
Eric was seized and taken away the meeting continued for while before I finally decided to retire to my room .
When I arrived at my chambers I was about to take a shower when one of the guards walked into my room. .
" My Lord , Lady Valerie is here to see you "

She was ushered into my chambers , But she was not looking happy . Her face was swollen after crying alot.

She stood there murmuring to herself .

She fell on her knees pleasing for his mercy .
