The Witchcraft
Chapter 20
Whitney’s POV
The cave in Wolf Mountain is a desolate and lonely place. It's dark, with no natural light penetrating its depths, and the air is thick with the musty scent of damp earth and stale air.
It's a place where time seems to stand still, and the only sound is the occasional drip of water from stalactites high above. The walls are rough and jagged, the ground littered with scattered animal bones that crunch underfoot.
As I mutter to myself, my voice echoes off the walls, bouncing back at me like an eerie reminder of how alone I am. The darkness and silence seem to amplify the weight of my thoughts, and it's hard to shake the feeling that I'm trapped in a never-ending nightmare.
I kick away the scattered bones, the sound echoing through the empty chamber. It's a futile gesture, but it helps to release some of my pent-up frustration and anger at my situation.
I muttered to myself: "I will not let you go, I will definitely kill you! " I said and kicked away the scattered animal bones piled up on the ground.
As I kick away the scattered animal bones on the ground, I curse and swear under my breath. Every movement is fueled by a deep-seated rage that seems to grow stronger with each passing moment. I let loose a string of expletives that would make any sailor blush, not caring who hears them.
My words laced with anger and hatred: "I'll never let you get away with this, you bastards! Tanya, Elton, I swear I'll make you pay for what you've done!"
My fists clench tightly, my nails digging into my palms as I imagine the pain I'll inflict on my enemies. The mere thought of Tanya and Elton makes my blood boil, and I feel like a caged animal ready to tear its prey limb from limb.
The darkness of the cave only adds to my fury, casting shadows that seem to dance and taunt me. I can feel the weight of the rock pressing down on me, suffocating me with its cold embrace.
Suddenly, a hoarse voice came from the depths of the cave: "Come in, I can help you get revenge."
I was startled at first, then my eyes lit up, and I stumbled towards the source of the sound.
As I moved deeper into the cave, I could see a stone wall looming ahead. It was a formidable sight, rough-hewn and jagged, with streaks of deep red that seemed to pulse with an otherworldly energy.
The hoarse voice came again, echoing through the cavernous chamber. "Give me your blood!" it demanded, sending shivers down my spine. The walls themselves seemed to drip with blood, as though the very stone itself was alive and hungry for sacrifice.
As I drew closer, I could make out the intricate carvings etched into the surface of the wall. They were twisted and macabre, depicting scenes of violence and death that turned my stomach. There were images of creatures with razor-sharp teeth, and humans torn apart by their ferocity.
Despite the horror before me, I felt a strange pull towards the wall. The hoarse voice continued to call out, demanding my blood. And then, without warning, I felt a sharp pain in my hand. Looking down, I saw a small cut, barely visible but enough to draw a few drops of blood.
Without hesitation, I held out my hand towards the wall. As soon as the first drop hit the surface, the wall seemed to come alive. The red streaks grew brighter, pulsing faster and faster until they seemed to be throbbing with a life all their own.
I felt a sense of dread wash over me as I realized what I had done. But it was too late. The wall had tasted my blood, and it hungered for more.
The stone wall opened slowly, and a strong smell of blood came to the face.
I was a little frightened by the sight in front of me. I saw the decomposed corpses on the ground continuing to kneel and put their hands together.
As I made my way deeper into the cave, the walls on either side of me grew taller and narrower. The air became thick with the musty scent of ancient stone, and the only sound was the echo of my footsteps.
I peered at the walls as I walked, curious about the carvings etched into their surface. It didn't take long for me to decipher the dense ancient characters that adorned both sides of the narrow passage.
The stone walls were covered in warnings, etched in deep grooves that seemed to glow in the dim light. The characters were complex and intimidating, representing words like "taboo", "evil", "untouchable", and "witchcraft". They seemed to be a warning.
At this time, the mysterious hoarse voice came again: "Come on, I can fulfill all your wishes."
I followed the sound and eventually came to a massive altar to which it seemed these rotting corpses were offering sacrifices.
In the center of the altar is an old book with the words "Witchcraft" written on the cover.
The hoarse voice bewitched me hastily: "Open it, open it!"
I slowly opened the book, and a magical force poured into my body.
This, this, this! I watched in amazement at the changes taking place in my body. I greedily absorbed the witchcraft in the book, and it has never been as powerful as it is now.
I looked towards the altar and asked hoarsely, "What do I need to pay?"
Then came the evil voice, "Give me blood, give me half of the blood!"
The sound made me tremble, but I didn't hesitate, and my eyes began to become firm.
I muttered to myself: "As long as I can get revenge, I can do anything."
Immediately, I took out a knife from my pocket, and the sharp tip cut my arm. The blood that flowed out slowly suspended in the air, first slowly condensed into a huge blood cell, and then became bigger and bigger, emitting a dazzling light. Immediately afterwards, it merged into the altar with a single brain, and suddenly there was a satisfied moan.
With a pale face, I said sharply, "From now on, we owe nothing to anyone."
After a while, the influx of witchcraft has all been absorbed by me.
I muttered witchcraft in a low voice, and the stone in the distance suddenly split into pieces, and I nodded in satisfaction.
My heart was filled with ecstasy, I laughed out loud, and with a wave of my hand, the whole altar changed into its original appearance. I nodded in satisfaction and walked out.
