Attack of the Alpha

I just want to go back to my room; I have lost my appetite. My first night here and the family is all around attacking me. At the same moment, the young man snarls loudly baring his teeth.

“You dare threaten us! Filthy half breed!” he says as he jumps from his seat and lunges at me.

His actions are too quick for me to react in time, and we topple to the floor. We roll while fighting, I have never fought a day in my life. I could very well die tonight. He is heavy and very fit showing that he trains and works out, possibly for sports or combat.

I do my best to fight him off, my father is screaming for “Kylan” to stop.

I am not surprised to hear the mother and siblings rooting for him. They chant for him until my father sends a silencing roar. I am scratching his face, his back, anywhere I can do damage. He continues to roar in my face. He punches, scratches me, and I try to dodge his attacks. He grabs my hair and starts bashing my head. I shove his face and he bites deep into my hand. Our father is continually trying to get him off of me, he grabs Kylan by the shirt which Kylan manages to rip off as he shoves our father onto the table.

Kylan is hurling insults at me while hitting me in the face, in the stomach, in the ribs, in the back, in the neck and anywhere he can find advantage. I feel like I am about to pass out by the time our father Alpha Rydon throws him off of me.

“What the hell were you thinking!” I hear Rydon roar.

I cry out in pain, my body feels haggard, every inch of me is hurting. I have never been subjected to this, I have always done what I can to be kind, be peaceful, and spread love to everyone. What did I do to deserve this?

I begin to crawl away from the bickering family. I can barely move after the vicious attack. I find myself in the hallway next to the dining room, and I roll over on to my back. I feel like death is near. I do not want to die; however, death would hopefully be more peaceful than this night of pain.

I lifted my head gently, enough to see the family that was once cheering for my death stopped. My father had thrown Kylan off of me and was pinning him to the floor. Kylan was fighting his father’s strength. The boy was too young yet, no match for an adult Alpha male wolf. Rydon ordered his guards to seize his son and lock him in his room. I heard the cry of his mother and sisters.

“Anyone else who is daring enough to try and kill my first born against my orders of not harming her, will find themselves in the dungeon!” My father says in a malicious voice.

His wife stands by not saying a word, yet her eyes look like she is screaming at him “I invited her here! She has suffered enough! I will not see my eldest long-lost daughter go to her grave due to your bigotry! I have never condoned this law. It is hateful, and cruel. I have wanted for years to abolish it; it keeps us in the dark ages!” He spoke towards them in an angry cold voice.

His wife continues to glare at him while the other children either look down or look away in disgust. “I am so sorry Molly!” I hear his broken voice and sobs. My father at once rushes towards me. He cradles my head on his lap. He rocks me back and forth.

As he lays with me trying to hold his tears. We begin to hear alarms starting to go off from outside of the packhouse like a battle cry. His warriors ran into the room alerting my father that the pack was under attack. He orders his beta “Collin” to look after me. I see him sneer but give a tight nod to his tribal chief.

As I lay on the floor, I saw Rydon morph into his wolf. Before he can leave the room, something blasts a hole through the wall of the pack house. I cover myself away from the debris. Alpha Rydon, and all in the house are thrown across the room from the blast. I feel Beta Collin drag me away from the messed-up wall. He hauls me to my feet and is demanding to put me in the dungeons, like I have committed some crime.

My father removes me from his grip and carries my bridal style. He calls over a woman to escort me back to my room while he prepares to fight.

No one moves their soul as we feel a strong aura coming from outside, my entire body starts to tingle. The alarms going off in the distance become much louder, and I can see two men slaughtering dozens. It is scary yet incredible. Before we can move a muscle. A severed head is tossed through the gaping hole and a massacred body joins it.

The women in the room screaming and flee in terror. I am chilled to the bone, and frozen in fright. My father loses his balance and drops me. I try to crawl away from the bloody sight, I do my best but, my body aches all over. I shut my eyes trying to drown out the nausea that I am feeling.
