Chapter 74 - The Chant

The two dragons landed at the secluded part of the farm of Gerthel. When their feet landed on the ground, the two dragons immediately transformed themselves into their human forms. No one from the farm should see them yet in their dragon forms. The farm people are purely humans and seeing them in their dragon forms might bring fear to them.

Not even Gerthel knew that they were a group of dragons and that Boss Dar, their King, was even a hybrid one - a werewolf and a dragon.

As they walked to the house of Gerthel, the men assigned by Boss Dar to guard around the premises of the mini-farm saw them. They bow to Boss Dar, their Hybrid King in their Dragon Kingdom and their Mafia Lord in the human city. No car entered the gate of the mini-farm and the guards knew how their boss and their head guard traveled to this place from the mansion. Their minds were talking without their lips letting out any word, and they all understood each other.

Boss Dar ran toward the house of Gerthel and into her room. His fists clenched and his eyes squinted as he confirmed that, indeed, Gerthel has been taken away from her home. Suddenly, his heart trembled as another scent other than that of Gerthel had been left inside the room that lingered in his nostril down to his heart. Such a scent that he smelt on Gerthel for several days already. A scent that gave a sudden excitement in Boss Dar’s heart, light in his eyes, and sudden aggravation of the rage within himself.

“Leeno Treeton, you will regret touching the woman who belongs to me!” In his pit of anger, Boss Dar growled so loudly that Gerthel’s house shook as aftermath.

“Should something happen to my beloved Gerthel and my child in her womb, I will not leave any of your breeds, alive!” The rage of the Mafia Lord who at the same time was the Hybrid King was uncontrollable. Abducting Gerthel, who the Hybrid King determined already to be carrying his first heir, made Alpha Leeno put himself and his whole pack and mafia group in great danger and at risk of extinction because of the ultimate anger raging within every sense of the Hybrid King.

“She is not here. Let’s find the pack’s place of Leeno Treeton!” Boss Dar’s voice echoed all over the house of Gerthel.

Boss Dar and the head guard, ran toward the secluded area of Gerthel’s mini farm and there they shifted into their dragon forms. As they flew with hard flipping of their wings, the farmers tilling the rice fields at that time almost at the same time looked up as they heard the sound of the dragons’ flipping wings.

The farmers were all shocked while looking into the sky following the two dragon forms as the latter soared high until they became invisible to their eyes.

The remaining nine men of Boss Dar, guarding the premises of Gerthel’s farm also saw the two flying dragons. They smiled and breathed deeply with relief for they knew who are those flying dragons. They are sure that in just a couple of minutes, the soon-to-be Queen of their hybrid King will be saved from the hands of her abductor, who they guessed to be their number one enemy - Leeno Treeton.

Inside the room, Gerthel suddenly stiffen when she heard the clicking of the door knob. She hurriedly climbed down from the bed and stood with her chin up while waiting for the intruder to open the door.

When the door opened, Gerthel was no longer surprised to see Alpha Leeno’s face. He entered the room and locked the door again while looking at Gerthel with a smirk on his lips.

“So, you are awake now, my beautiful mate and soon-to-be Luna, hmmm?” Alpha Leeno said with a devilish grin lining up his manly full lips. He walked toward Gerthel, while the latter walked backward to avoid him.

“Yes, I am awake now and you better be afraid Alpha Leeno of what I can do to you. You might have forgotten, I am the daughter of the most feared witch and sorceress in this land and the bravest Rogue Alpha, who was once known to the werewolf realm,” Gerthel said while trying to control the fear in her voice. She just said those words to frighten Alpha Leeno although deep inside she never really knew what she could do to defeat him just in case she needs to fight with him to save her womanhood and her life from him.

Alpha Leeno chuckled as he continued to walk toward Gerthel. “And what can you do, Gerthel?” he asked grinning devilishly again.

Gerthel squinted her eyes and started to chant words that she could not even comprehend. The chants just came out from her mouth as if she knew them well from the time she was born. Gerthel was surprised especially when her hands started to rise up as if trying to gather the air around her, while her lips continued to chant magical words.

Alpha Leeno suddenly stopped walking and looked at Gerthel with eyes wide with fear. He could still remember the story of how the Alpha and his Luna of the Red Hill Pack were killed by Gerthel’s mother. The Alpha of the Red Hill Pack happened to be his half-brother. This was the reason also why he rejected Gerthel outright when he found out that she was his mate.

Gerthel’s chanting started to make Alpha Leeno’s body hair rise up while his heart was beating like thunder. He gathered his bravery, and in his Alpha tone, he tried to command Gerthel.

“Stop chanting Gerthel. I am your mate and your Alpha! Bend your knees and bow down to your Alpha!” He stated in a loud voice.

Gerthel however was not even moved by his words. She looked at him with her eyes still squinting and her chanting continued. A few seconds, Gerthel motioned as if pushing something and the room’s door suddenly opened.

Alpha Leeno was shocked and before he could react further, his feet slowly left the ground and he felt cold air envelop him, controlling his body not to move. He floated into the air and out into the room, while Gerthel followed her, still chanting.

Alpha Leeno’s pack members were all shocked while looking at their Alpha floating into the air while their captured woman was walking following him while chanting loudly this time, filling their ears with sounds and cold air, causing them to freeze. They could not even move to help their Alpha.

Alpha Leeno floated until they reached the main door of the packhouse while still being followed by the chanting woman.

Outside of the packhouse, the guards and pack members of Alpha Leeno were in panic as they saw two flying huge dragons started to spew fire in their land.
