Chapter 111 Chapter 111 Aidan POV

Chapter 111 Chapter 111 Aidan POV
I have Ares and Amos in my lap while they devour their birthday cake making a huge mess. River is across from me picking at his piece of cake. Blaze is upstairs getting laid. We all know what's happening even if we can't hear it because my sister refuses to talk. Alex hasn't spoken a word since the last time her and River got in an argument. They are both so damn stubborn, the dumbest smart people ever. He wanted her to move here but refused to ask, she wanted him to ask. Then he tried to give her the relationship ultimatum and that blew up in his face. Mom and dad said we are not allowed to intervene. Andrew and Aurelia are staying out of it too.

I am so glad they are all going to school across the country from me. I can't handle their damn drama anymore. I hope they have fun in Boston and maybe they can figure out their issues. I laugh out loud and everyone looks at me.

"What is so fucking funny?" asks River.

"I hope the three of you can figure your shit out in Boston!"

"Aidan, you were not supposed to tell him!" says Brody.

"Fuck this shit! I am so sick of these three bleeding souls. Why don't you tell my sister you are slapping it to her pictures? Why do you make her think there is some other girl? It's dumb. How fucking old are the three of you? I can't be silent anymore."

"Aidan, language!" my mother scolds.

"What is River slapping?" asks Harlow, she is six.

"Nothing baby, don't listen to Aidan, he is talking nonsense!" says my uncle Zack.

"Sorry!" I say and Brody laughs as he feeds Sam.

Uncle Bentley has his wife Kelly in his lap, they are grinning at me too. Archie is laughing so hard he is folding over. Him and I leave for Ohio in a week, he is going to play baseball, professional baseball with the Oracles. I am so happy for him. He is going to be great. I feel for him, Elena found her mate and they broke up. Clara and Jade are sitting on the other end of the table winking at me. I've always had a thing for Jade but she is too young. She is Kelly's youngest daughter and is only sixteen. I haven't dated anyone in over a year. There has been too many other things to focus on.

My things are packed and I am going to follow in my dad's footsteps except for one. I want to play for the same team my whole NFL career. That is what I am hoping for anyway.

Chatter continues and River is listening to Blaze talk to my sister. I feel for him but then like I said he did it to himself.

"Are you ready to go Aidan?" asks uncle Jace grabbing his wife's ass and I thought my language is inappropriate.

"Yep. All packed up. Counting down. One week!"

My mom comes and takes the boys from me to clean them up.

"Let's go for a ride!" I say grabbing River's shoulder.

Moments later we are in the garage. I slip my helmet on and start my bike.

"To the graveyard!"

River nods at me.

We peel out of the driveway maneuvering around all the cars. I have outgrown my starter bike but I'm not worried about it. I am taking my car to school. It's warm today, I unzip my jacket when we stop at a light. River is crying, I can hear him. I know he needed to get away from the house.

We park in the parking lot between the graveyard and forest. Something tugs at my chest. I feel a pull. Flipping my visor up, her scent invades my nose and fills my body making me weightless. My body is trembling as I look around to find her. Fairies walk out of the forest.

"River??? Do you know them?"

"Yea! Olivia, she is a air fairy. Madeline is a water fairy and the blond is Kristen she is an earth fairy." he looks over at me and then back at Kristen and it clicks. "Shit!"

Kristen doesn't stop she keeps moving toward me. I pull my helmet off and rest it in front of me. What luck I have? She is beautiful, her wings flutter as she gets closer. River is smiling through his sadness.

Her eyes are light brown with tiny flecks of gold. Kristen's blond hair moves with the breeze and her earthy scent hits me again. She smells like dirt and wildflowers.

She stands next to my bike. My arms are rested over my helmet in front of me. I lean forward.

"I am Aidan! I am part werewolf and part human. I just turned nineteen."

"Kristen, earth fairy and I am twenty-one!" she smiles and her hands cup my face.

Her lips brush over mine, everything fades away. Kristen's wings flutter so fast she lifts off of the ground. My helmet falls to the down, Kristen is on my bike. She deepens the kiss, her tongue invades my mouth. My mind goes blank as he legs wrap around me. Her hands are in my hair. My hands grip her hips. I don't know what is taking me over, I am not this forward. She tastes amazing, so sweet like green apples dipped in carmel.

I can hear River clear his throat, the other two fairies are giggling.

Kristen pulls back trying to catch her breath. Her chest rises and lowers fast, her wings still flutter quickly. "Sorry, I couldn't help it!" she says brushing her hand over the stubble on my face.

I shake my head and bite my lips. "It...it's fine!" I say taking a deep breath.

"Kristen is home from Ohio State. She studies journalism there!" grins River.

"No shit!"

"Yep!"

"I'm going there this year." I chuckle."Same major but I am also going playing football!"

"I leave in a week!"

"Me too!"

"Do you want to hang out Kristen?"

"No shit!" she says. "Give me your phone?"

I pull my phone from my jacket pocket and hand it to her. She is punching in her number.

"Call me! I am under "Mate"!

Her iridescent wings flutter and she lifts off of my bike. Kristen and the other fairies leave us.

River grabs my shoulder and shakes me. "So that's how it's done!!!" he says.

Nothing can wipe the grin from my face. I am in love!
