Sarah sits back down, my uncle Giuseppe and Marco sit at one of the corner tables. The DJ arrives and puts music on. My uncle motions for me to join him.

"I need to talk to my uncle! I will be right back. Call me if you need anything!" I tell Sarah.

She looks up at me with her emerald green eyes. "Not a hair, we had a deal!"

I look up and make eye contact with Matteo, fear flashes over his face. He should be afraid, I should rip his fucking tongue out, right here, right now. Motherfucker! Sarah puts her hand over mine, I look back down at her. I try to suppress my anger, it's hard...his words echo in my head. Marco would have shot him but he knew to call me first.

"Jackson, did you hear me. We had a deal! Don't touch him!" she said a little too loud and all eyes were on us.

I could feel the pressure build in my head. My left hand forms a fist, my knuckles turn white. Sarah brushes her hand over my arm and I start laughing. I grab her chin and kiss her, then I walk away watching him. He is so lucky, I love her so much I would give her anything, his life is a wedding present.

"My nephew!" my uncle says as I come closer. "Hand or tongue?" he asks like he is asking for a sandwich.

I shake my head as we all look at Sarah. "His life is a wedding present she asked for!"

My uncle started laughing. I have never heard him laugh, he sounds even more terrifying. Marco looked at him like he'd lost his mind. I join him and then Marco.

"How is the club doing? Do you need more help? Is Elio doing a good job?"

"Everything is good uncle!"
"Good to hear! She is beautiful Jackson, take care of her and those kids. Four more, huh, you are going to have your hands full. You let me know if you need anything at all. We are here for you."

He leans closer to me. "The Hunter's Council....they won't be bothering anyone anymore!" he adds smiling. I smile back at him. My uncle calls Aidan and Alex over and gives them their presents. Aidan gets a gold chain like Marco and I have. Alex gets diamonds, my uncle says he is setting a standard for her. She looks back at Blaze and River. I am starting to wonder what is going on between them, they are...something about their relationship seems intense. I am going to need to ask her about it. We need to have a real talk about it.

The kids head back to their friends and my uncle stands up. "We need to leave! Call me when you kids are back in New York! I want to meet the babies!"

"Yes, uncle! I will call you when they are born!"

I walked my uncle and cousin out. "Good luck my boy!"

I turn around and Sarah met me in the hallway. Her eyes glimmer, she is glowing, her belly keeps getting bigger. Sarah leans against the wall and I rush to her.

"It's all set then. Your uncle, Marco or any of their people are not going to hurt Matteo?"

Brody and Enzo come walking around her too. I run my hand through my hair and rested it on my neck.

"Yes, my love! Matteo's life is your present but..." I pause."...if he ever steps out of line and says something nasty to you again.." I let a sinister smile spread across my face "I will rip his fucking tongue out, I promise you that!"

Sarah puts her hand on my chest. I watch Brody and Enzo's shoulders relax. We sit there in silence for a few minutes. We are past the steps in the foyer, all leaned against the wall. Then we hear the kids. Alex, River and Blaze are running up the stairs. Brody's eyebrows scrunch in the middle of his face, Sarah is giggling but I am with Brody. Where the fuck are they going? My mind is going into overdrive.

"Where the fuck is Alex going with those two?" I say.

"Man I heard some of their friends asking them if they are going to close the deal tonight! We were at the diner for brunch and they came in. River punched the guy that kept talking." says Brody and Enzo nods too.

"Relax, they are teens they are going to do stuff!"

"Not with my daughter!"

"Jackson please relax! We both had a talk with her, you talked to Andrew. If they are going to have sex, it's better it's at home."

Andrew comes rushing in and sees us.

"They went upstairs!" I said.

Andrew joined us on the wall.

"You aren't going to go up there and interrupt whatever is happening?" he asks.

"No! None of us are!" said Sarah.

I took a deep breath in. Everything inside me is screaming to go upstairs and break up whatever is happening. We stand there, all five of us for what seems like forever. Sarah grabbed my hand and I relaxed so fast. It washed over me like a wave. Enzo headed back outside. Aurelia came in looking for Andrew.

"What are we doing, all leaned up on the wall?" she asks grinning. "It doesn't have anything to do with our kids going upstairs, right?"

Sarah laughs. "I am keeping the men down here! They all want to run up and interrupt whatever the kids are doing!"

"Please tell me, none of you guys are listening to them!" says Aurelia.

"We are not. No thank you!" I say.

A door upstairs slams. Then it opens again, footsteps....they are all walking down the hallway.

"What the fuck is wrong with you two!" yells Alex. "You are not going to mark me. Are you mental?"

Andrew and I stare at each other. Sarah's eyes grow wide. Brody is fuming. Aurelia covers her mouth with her hand. The kids stop at the top of the stairs.

"You are our mate Alex! That is what we are supposed to do. " says River, his voice is not as deep as Blaze's.

"It doesn't matter how much you want to deny it Alex. You are ours and....we love you!" says Blaze stuttering his words.

Sarah puts her hand over her heart, I pinch the bridge of my nose. Andrew wipes his face with his hand. Aurelia hasn't moved. Brody looks like he wants to run up, Sarah grabs his hand to stop him.

"We are too young, if you mark me....it's like being married!" laughs Alex. "I don't want that. I don't know if I ever want to be marked. I am not in the right mind to make a life altering decision right now. If you push me, I will push back and you are not going to like it. I can promise you that. It's too much, too fast!"
