Chapter 15

The falling of Thamali’s Castle

Everyone’s attention was caught when the castle cast out such wondrous red light. The soldiers from outside were shocked to see the castle fling its walls as the red light was so powerful that it produces such force and slowly tear the castle apart.

In the forest outside the kingdom, Merfoy was shocked to see Niffa’s tripled flame. They suddenly hear a loud crashing sound coming from the kingdom.

“Niffa did you hear that?” he asked as Niffa slowly calm herself and return to her normal state. They ran near the gate as they saw the castle falling apart while a red fire gobbled up the debris. They ran towards the castle as they look around, the soldiers are evacuating, others are wounded and burned bodies are being dragged by their colleagues. The castle was gobbled by a red fire, and the townspeople including children, mothers, and older ones are panicking while running outside.

“Oh no!” Niffa gasped as she quickly run inside the castle avoiding the falling debris and spits of fire on her way.

Merfoy struck his white flame towards the falling castle as he tried to control it to stand steadily from falling apart.

Niffa saw Merfoy’s white flame covering the entire castle and protecting it.

“Go Niffa! Save the others before the castle stumbles!” he shouted trying to push his white flame as the wound from his right shoulder bleeds. She saw an opening as she entered avoiding the fires around the place. She help the other people trap inside as she carried the broken debris blocking the way.

“Hurry you need to go out before the castle crashed down!” she shouted, she helped a wounded lady to run outside.

“Thank you. By the way, I saw the royalties protected with a blue flame,” said the lady that she help.

“Blue Flame? Rico!” she gasp as she run back inside and made her way to the corridor. The place was surrounded by red fire it stings her skin but she tried to ignore the burning sensation she felt. She saw Maru create a wide white flame protecting his parents from behind while Seres was tripled in flamed, he is throwing his fires from the white wall that Maru created. On the opposite side, she saw Rico flaming up his body as he seems to be meditating and to Niffa’s surprise, his body was surrounded by blue flame instead of violet.

“Rico!” she shouted as he opened his eyes and snap his fingers, the colossus was released, and the royalties were shocked to see a huge horse, wolf, and deer in front of them.

“Your highness you need to ride on Prado and escape the palace,” Rico said as he pull Prado in front of them.

“Please trust us on this!” Maru shouted as he keeps on controlling the wall he created while Seres’ red fire keeps on striking it.

The king and queen hopped in as Rico pat Prado, they leave the castle safely.

Niffa should suppose to run towards them but Seres notice her and release some of his red warriors as they surrounded her with their red flames.

Niffa flamed her body like before, she will use her green flame together with the combat skills that her father thought her. She attacked them with speed punches, and kicks, and used her flames in burning them. The fighting got intense between Seres and Maru when Rico suddenly used his blue flame against Seres.

“It’s been a while since I didn’t see that blue flame. I kind of miss it, you know,” Seres said as Rico struck another one, and this time it happened to hit Seres’ shoulder and leaves a mark, the area on his shoulder with a burned mark cannot flame up.

“I see, blue flame also means water. You are a good match for me,” he said as he gave them a smirk. Seres suddenly raise his hands as the wild animals which he turned into monsters appeared in the place, and the growling sound was heard. They saw a huge monster-like cheetah, it has six eyes and a wider mouth. A lady was trapped between its large fangs, it was Liana groaning in pain. Rico commanded his colossus to fight against the monsters.

“Liana!” Maru shouted. Liana’s bleeding waist was trapped between the large fangs.

Niffa saw Liana still gripping the sword in her hand as she tried to stab the monster’s face. The monster roared in pain as Liana fell on the floor catching her breath, she tried to stand up while pressing the wound on her hips. Niffa should suppose to help her but Seres’ evil sorcerers block her, and she fights with them one more time.

“Liana just stay back!” Maru shouted and look at Rico, he was struggling to push his blue flame against Seres who has tripled his flame more than theirs.

“Sorry Maru, I can’t control my blue flame for now. I can’t triple it as Seres does,” Rico said, Maru can tell that Rico is struggling by the sound of his voice.

“It’s okay Rico we can do this!” They keep on pushing their flames to gobble up Seres’ red flame. Maru suddenly saw the cheetah slowly crawling aiming for Liana who was bleeding on the floor standing up to fight back. He look back at Rico who was also struggling.

“Maru! You have to save her!” Rico shouted.

“But-”

“Go! She needs you! I can handle this!” Rico shouted trying to double up his flame. Maru quickly run to help Liana as he struck his white flame toward the monster. They watch it burn slowly as it roared trying to fight back. Liana stands up, she was amazed by Maru’s white flame.

“Liana can you still fight?” Maru asks looking at her bleeding wounds, he can feel the pain in her face. He tear a piece of cloth from his cape and tied it around her bleeding wounds.

“That will help to stop the bleeding,” Maru said as he caress Liana’s cheek, he quickly realizes his action as he hold himself back.

“Sorry, I was a bit worried,” he immediately said as he saw Liana’s confused and red face.

“You should get out of here, you are wounded. I will meet you outside after this is over,” Maru said with a worried face but Liana insisted.

“No, I’m a warrior and I don’t want to waste a battle just because I’m wounded,” she said, Maru can see the fierce in her eyes despite that she has scars all over her face and body.

“Do me a favor then, as I’m striking my flame toward that beast can you climb up on its back and stab him in the nape? Can you do that?” Maru asks.

“On the Nape?” Liana asks as she looks at the monster struggling to take out the white fire in its body.

“Yes, trust me this beast will die quickly if we do that.”

Liana nodded as she glared straight at the burning monster. She grips her sword as she runs towards the beast, she slides herself below the monster’s neck and grabs the swinging chains connected to the monster’s neck, she landed straight into its back as she lifts the sword ready to stab the beast.

“Liana now!” Maru shouted and pointed the white flame transferring the flame’s energy toward Liana’s sword. The sword was flaming up in white as she deepen the stab on the beast’s nape with such strength creating a strong wind. Liana jumped as she ran back in Maru’s direction. The beast roared for the last time as they watch the white flame enter its body and burst into pieces as it burns into ashes. Liana stared at the sword still flaming up.

“It’s so beautiful I feel like it’s my power,” she said as Maru smiled at her.

“You are so amazing, your skills in fighting are unique.”

They look back behind them and they saw Niffa finishing up the last evil sorcerer as she burned it with her green flame.

“Niffa, where are Rico and Seres?” Maru asks as they run towards her. She wipes the blood in her mouth as she breathed heavily trying to look around. They were shocked to see Seres dragging Rico coming towards them, he was unconscious and had blood traces on the floor as he drag him.

“Such pity! I thought he was strong!” Seres shouted as he throw him in front of them. The atmosphere was surrounded by horror when they saw Rico’s chest was burned with a huge hole in it, his heart was gone.

Niffa kneeled down and touch Rico’s pulse, she stands up and gave Seres a glare as green fire flamed through her eyes.

“Why? Aren’t you supposed to cry?” Seres said taunting her.

“Really? Why would I cry just because of this?” Niffa said as she smirk at Seres.

“Niffa?! What do you mean?” Maru asked in confusion.

Seres smirk back as he snap his fingers, they were surrounded by his evil sorcerers once again.

“Take care of this guys! I will attack Seres!” Niffa said as she flamed up her body and run towards Seres.

“Maru! Flamed up the sword again! I can handle the heat!” Liana said as Maru lighted up the sword once again with his white flame. The two fight with the evil sorcerers. Niffa creates a sword with her green flame, she just discovered that she can actually do this technique. She quickly jumps in front of Seres as she should supposed to slit him but Seres grasp the blade trying to push her away. He can see how strong Niffa was by just looking at her green furious eyes and gritting teeth.

“I see you’ve gotten so strong,” Seres said as he tried to smirk but he is struggling to push the sword. Niffa steps backward as she quickly pulls the sword from Seres’ grasp and it marks a slit on his palm.

“I didn’t become strong, 'cause I‘m already born strong,” she said. Seres become furious as he raises his right hand and creates a sword with his red flame.

“Then prove to me in action not just by words!” he shouted as he attack her first.

Niffa quickly avoids the sword coming her way, but Seres mark a slit on her shoulder as blood ooze from it. She used her speedy attack and cornered Seres with her sword pressing the blade against his blade.

“Where is Rico?!” Niffa shouted as the green flame in her eyes widened.

“Rico? He was dead you saw it right?!” Seres shouted back struggling to push her blade away.

“Shut up! I’m not an idiot old man!” Niffa shouted.

“You are smart, you figured it out that fast huh.”

“Where is he!” she shouted once again as she push her sword with such strength sparking with the other sword.

“Kill me first,” Seres said smirking at her.

“I can’t,” Niffa replied.

“You can’t? Such weakling!” Seres push his sword then Niffa suddenly flamed off as she walk backward and close her eyes. She can feel Rico’s energy in the place, she started to concentrate to use the sun’s power. She flamed up in such radiant light as it struck the eyes of anyone in the room.

“She use the sun’s power again,” Maru said as they continued fighting the evil sorcerers.

“Oh, the sun keeper is back!” Seres said with amusement on his face while watching Niffa turning into a radiant human being. She quickly runs towards him and throws some punches but Seres keeps on avoiding them. They fight in hand-to-hand combat while their bodies are in flamed mode. Niffa raised her hands as she was collecting all the sun’s power from above and struck it toward Seres which causes such explosion in the place. Merfoy, the royalties, the soldiers, and the townspeople were shocked and curious about what happened after they heard the explosion. The palace was covered in smoke as they saw Seres body burning but he manage to stand up and flame up while all the burns in his body disappear.

“You think the sun keeper can really beat me?” he said as the three of them are shocked to see his wounded body regenerate quickly. Seres teleports towards Niffa as he punches her in the stomach and creates a dagger with his flame, the dagger passes through her stomach as she spits blood. The radiant fire on Niffa’s body disappeared and turned back to her normal state.

“Niffa!” Maru and Liana shouted as the evil sorcerers increased in number and surrounds them.

Rico suddenly opened his flaming blue eyes upon hearing Niffa’s name.
