Chapter 189: No Need to Be Humble
Jeremy really didn't mean to freak them out. This $10 billion bank card was a gift from Owen back in the day.
He didn't have any other cards on him, and the one Jace gave him had even more money!
The project over at Sunrise didn't need this money, so he always carried it around, waiting for a chance to spend it.
Money sitting in a card is just a number; only when you spend it does it become real.
Ten billion dollars!
It's impossible to spend it all!
Jeremy's generosity completely stunned these two girls who had never even seen a million dollars before.
When they finally came to their senses, they wondered if this young boss who could casually pull out $10 billion was interested in their bodies.
If that was the case, a young, handsome, and rich boss wouldn't be a bad deal.
But Jeremy wasn't done shocking them yet.
The place he arranged for them to stay was Isabella's Luxe Haven house.
Then Jeremy gave them money to buy a car, so it would be convenient for them to work at Dawnwater Coast. Jeremy didn't need one; if he was in a hurry, he could run faster.
With the assistant matter settled, Jeremy had Jace cancel the rest of the scheduled interviews.
He didn't have time to waste.
At least in his eyes, Julie and Patty seemed fine. His divination skills were still useful.
By evening, Julie and Patty had completed their first task from Jeremy: buying a car.
Jeremy didn't specify what kind, but considering his status, they couldn't go low-key. So, they spent over a million dollars on a Rolls-Royce.
Jeremy didn't care about cars, but to them, he needed a luxury car.
That night, Jeremy treated them to a fancy dinner to welcome them to his team.
Of course, Isabella had to come. She knew Jeremy had hired assistants and wanted to see them for herself.
When the two girls saw Isabella, any thoughts of becoming Jeremy's girlfriend vanished.
The girls around Jeremy were all stunning beauties; how could he be interested in them?
Isabella was there to assert her dominance, and Jeremy knew it but didn't call her out.
But while they were dining at the hotel, something unexpected happened.
They weren't in a private room but in the hotel restaurant. Jeremy, with three beauties, including a campus queen like Isabella, naturally drew attention.
During the meal, Julie went to the restroom but came back in a panic, with someone chasing her.
"Don't run! This hotel is mine. Where do you think you can go?"
The pursuer sneered, and even the restaurant staff stepped aside, not daring to intervene.
This was a five-star hotel!
In Dawnwater Coast, owning such a large hotel meant having a significant background. The hotel's value alone was close to $10 billion.
This was Dawnwater Coast, right in the city center.
Julie had a handprint on her face, clearly having been slapped.
She didn't want to drag Jeremy into this, but she had nowhere else to run.
The pursuers were a group of young playboys from Dawnwater Coast.
The hotel did belong to one of their families, but he was just a spoiled brat with little status at home.
The young men brightened up, not expecting to find even more beautiful women.
"Looks like we hit the jackpot tonight, catching a bunch of beauties!"
Their eyes roved over Isabella and the others.
Isabella wasn't scared at all. With Jeremy by her side, knowing his capabilities, what was there to fear?
Jeremy smiled and asked Julie, "What happened? Who hit you?"
Julie lowered her head and said, "Mr. Taylor, I'm fine. Let's just go."
She didn't want to cause trouble for her new boss. This was Dawnwater Coast, not Jeremy's turf.
"So, you're their boss? I hit her. I grabbed her butt, and she dared to hit me. What do you say to that?"
"Let us have these three beauties for a few days, and we'll return them when we're done."
Jeremy's smile never wavered.
He stood up and walked forward.
"From now on, working with me, no matter how powerful the person you face, you don't need to be afraid!"
"Remember, as my subordinates, you don't need to be humble!"
Jeremy told Julie, "Lift your head. As long as you're in the right, even the governor would have to apologize to me!"
Julie was stunned by Jeremy's words. She instinctively lifted her head and saw Jeremy's indescribable confidence and demeanor.
Jeremy walked forward slowly, and the young men were momentarily stunned by him.
The leader recovered and sneered, "Do you know who I am?"
"This hotel is mine. If you know what's good for you, let me have your women for a few days, or none of you will leave here."
Jeremy laughed, "Which hand did you use to touch her?"
The young man was about to speak, but Jeremy had already grabbed his hand!
It felt like being caught in a vice, and the young man screamed in pain.
"Ah!"
Jeremy said calmly, "Since no one taught you how to behave, I'll teach you."
"Asshole!"
One of the young men behind him cursed and charged forward.
But to Jeremy, these kids were all useless.
Jeremy kicked each one, sending them flying and seriously injured!
The young man whose hand Jeremy had grabbed screamed, his face pale. His hand was broken.
Jeremy let go of his hand, and a group of security guards, led by a man in a suit, finally arrived.
Seeing the people on the ground, the man in the suit looked grim.
"What are you waiting for? Get him! Break his limbs, you hear me?"
The young man with the broken hand shouted, his eyes filled with venom.
But the man in the suit didn't immediately order the security guards to act. These playboys might lack insight, but he couldn't afford to.
"Sir, do you know who you've injured?"
As a mid-level manager at this five-star hotel, he had seen many people and knew some in Dawnwater Coast were untouchable.
He didn't recognize Jeremy, but if Jeremy dared to hurt people here, he might have some background.
He couldn't act rashly. If he did and got crippled, it would be his own fault.
Jeremy chuckled, "A bunch of trash. Bullying my people, I hit them because I wanted to. What, you want to call their elders?"
"If they have a background, then call their elders over!"
The man in the suit frowned slightly. For someone to speak like this, he must be someone significant.
He quickly said, "Sir, could you tell me your name? I'll inform their elders."
Jeremy said calmly, "Sure, tell them my name is Jeremy, from Sunrise!"
