Chapter 174 The Killer is GhostHealer

It wasn't just Seth who was curious; a lot of folks at Sunrise were dying to know what was going on between Jeremy and Claire.

The reason was simple: GhostHealer had publicly claimed Claire as his.

Jeremy was GhostHealer's only disciple, so Claire definitely wasn't a student of GhostHealer.

Yet, both of them had GhostHealer backing them!

In reality, over the past month, Claire and Jeremy hadn't had any contact with each other. There was no interaction between them at all.

Amos shook his head. He really didn't know. People had all sorts of theories about the relationship between Claire and Jeremy.

The most popular one was that Claire might be Jeremy's lover.

After all, a beautiful woman and a handsome man—it's not unusual for them to have such a relationship in private!

When Jeremy and Arnold arrived at the Emerald Oasis Hotel, Jeremy was ready for anything.

He was now at the Late Mortal Realm, which meant he could fight like someone in the Half-step Innate Realm. He was fully capable of taking on Gabe.

But when Jeremy and Arnold walked into the private room, they were both shocked.

The floor was covered in bloodstains!

There were also pieces of flesh and meat everywhere.

And on the floor was a severely injured person.

Arnold looked at the scene and couldn't help but gasp.

Who did this? It was too cruel!

Killing someone is one thing, but did it have to be so brutal?

Arnold thought it was really GhostHealer who did it!

Just as Jeremy finished questioning Amos, the Inspectorate arrived!

Travis, the head of the Sunrise Inspectorate, came personally. When he saw the scene, his face didn't look good either.

Travis replied, "Gabe was severely injured. He barely survived. The Harvey family in Verdantia wants an explanation from us. Otherwise, they'll handle it themselves!"

Jeremy asked, "Where is Gabe? I want to see him."

Travis, dissatisfied, said, "Why? Do you want to silence him?"

"Gabe is ranked eighth on the Tiger Rankings. You guys are really bold to think about killing him."

Jeremy said, "Travis, be honest with me. Did you see Gabe yourself before you came here?"

Travis didn't hide it and nodded, "Yes, I saw him before I came. He was seriously injured, on the brink of death. I've already sent him away."

Jeremy initially thought this was a setup by Gabe and someone else to frame GhostHealer.

But hearing Travis's words, Jeremy suddenly felt that things might not be so simple.

There was no such person as GhostHealer in this world!

The GhostHealer who appeared before was him. So who was this GhostHealer today, and why did he severely injure Gabe and kill the Harvey family members?

This person, whom he hadn't even met, didn't matter to Jeremy whether Seth lived or died.

But the fact that the killer used the identity of GhostHealer made it interesting!

He had been pretending to be GhostHealer, and now someone else was also pretending to be GhostHealer!

Jeremy asked, "Are you familiar with the Harvey family?"

Arnold sighed, "Not really. I treated one of the high-ranking members of the Harvey family's outer clan once."

"I can personally go to the Harvey Manor and explain this misunderstanding. An insignificant outer clan member shouldn't cause the Harvey family to trouble Mr. GhostHealer and you."

Jeremy nodded, "Alright, you go to the Harvey Manor and see what they have to say."
