Chapter 33
Mira's POV
The tentative meeting of our lips caused sparks to fly in every direction as Darren huddled me closer to himself. Soon the kiss became urgent and hungry as Darren's tongue explored every bit of my mouth with fierce passion. We parted only just to catch our breaths.
“What did you do to me?” Darren asked, his voice very hoarse and laden with passion. I ran my hands through his wet hair and kissed his forehead.
“Same thing you did to me.” His eyes left my face and went towards my neck. Without giving it a second thought and kissed my pulse area, and I gasped, shivering in pleasure. I could feel his smile on my skin. He kissed every inch of it, and I flung my head back, shivering in pleasure. The fact that we were still in the tub made it even more electrifying. His hands went to my butt, and he grabbed it there. I moaned.
This was crazy, we so close to each other, yet we didn't seem to get enough of each other. We were doing everything besides having sex. Suddenly, he stopped and stared at me, breathing heavily.
“We should probably get out of here.” He whispered, his voice husky. I giggled.
“It's your turf. You can do what you want.” I answered.
“Yeah... Right.” Wrapping my legs around his waist, he stood, and we stepped out of the tub. The cold air hit me instantly.
“Cold....” I squirmed as I clung closer to him. He chuckled but it sounded like a growl.
“Stop, you're driving me crazy....” he said and took me inside.
The demanding kiss resumed the moment we stepped in. Darren's hands went to my bra and in a click, they were off. Almost naked. Our bodies still wet, we tumbled onto the bed, soaking the sheets. Darren stood up a little to stare at me full in the face, his gaze questioning.
“Gosh, Darren, if you ask me if I'm sure I don't know what I'll do to you,” I muttered.
“I was expecting an answer, but not that.” He said and smirked. Trailing his fingers on my skin, he stopped at my right nipple and flicked it, a moan escaped my lips.
“You're so beautiful... Too damn beautiful.” Then he placed his lips on it and kissed it.
“Darren.....” I moaned. That must've set something off in him as lips came crashing down on mine, stunning me and leaving me breathless. I met his ardor with mine, kissing and drawing his breath from his as well. One hand left my back and went to my panties, the only streak of decency left in me. It nudged at it and soon it was off. I closed my eyes and sucked my breath in, knowing that I was naked underneath Darren.
His gaze was hovering above me and when he kissed my eyelids, I fluttered them open. Desire was the most evident, but there was a special overlay of tenderness... Like he was promising me he won't hurt me, a promise I wanted to hold on to.
“I won't hurt you. Just stay with me. Okay?” He asked.
“Okay....” I mouthed, and he nodded before descending to my lower body. I felt his lips on my abdomen and I snapped my eyes shut. He began his wonders there and countless moans escaped my mouth... Gosh.. it felt heavenly. My hand had found the back of his neck and was tugging him closer to my skin. I could be in this place forever.
Just as we were about to go to war, I suddenly remembered something, and it made me stop.
“Darren, wait....” I called softly. I didn't think he would hear me, but he did and retracted himself. Kissing me gently on the nose, he mumbled, “What?”
“I... I wanted to give you something.” I stuttered. My bag was on the bedside table, so I lazily kicked it over and brought out the parcel, the one mom gave me. He looked at it quizzically for a second and slowly collected it. Then he smiled smugly before kissing me. It calmed me down for a bit. I slowly closed my eyes.
I heard the tear of a wrapper and my heart pounded in my chest. I took in a deep breath but stopped halfway when I felt Darren's lips on my vagina. Then I bit my lips. No words could describe how I felt at that moment. I wasn't sure I was thinking anymore. Darren was making me want him, and it was killing me. His lips left me, and I thought he was done until a finger worked its way through me. I almost screamed. My heart was on fire.
He bobbed it through me, in and out, and I was busy making incoherent sounds. God knows how I heard them. Then stopped long enough to say he loved me and wouldn't hurt me before going all in the way in. My breathing hitched, and I couldn't seem to move anymore. I was so damn tight, and Darren had filled me. I was beginning to stretch out, not to forget the excruciating pains. He kissed my teary eyelids as if to soothe me and stayed like that for a while so I could get used to him. I eventually did, and he began to rock me gently.
Nothing could have compared to this moment, and nothing could have beaten it as well. Along the line, I felt a sharp cut, and it almost made me cry but Darren would never let that happen. Soon I was riding with him on the journey of ecstasy and when I felt my orgasm building up, Darren smiled in satisfaction. Eventually, my release came and so did he, shortly after. Exhausted, he let out a groan and collapsed beside me, sighing satisfactorily. I was still in pain, but I managed to cuddle against Darren, and he welcomed it. And I was getting very, very sleepy.
We were tangled up with each other and neither of us seemed to one to separate. Darren kept kissing me everywhere that was available for him to touch. Darren held my hands had begun to kiss each finger.
“Mira?” He muttered.
“Hmm?”
“One of these days, I plan to put a ring on this finger. But I don't know which one. Should it be a promise ring or an engagement one?” He asked. I chuckled at his question.
“We are still young, Darren. Let that time come.” I muttered sleepily.
“Mira?” He called again.
“Hmm?”
“I love you.” He said. I smiled.
“I love you too. Go to sleep.”
“Okay, m' lady.” I opened my eyes to see him scoot closer to me and when our foreheads touched, he closed his eyes. I did too and fell into the darkest, sweetest sleep ever.

The sun woke me up the next morning. No, not the sun. Someone was blocking the sun. I squinted my eyes and soon fluttered them open to see Darren staring down right at me, smiling. I noticed he had showered as his hair was still dripping wet, making him even more handsome.
“Good morning.” I greeted, yawning.
“Good morning milady.”
“How long have you been staring at me?”
“Before the sun was up. You look extremely beautiful today.”
“Yeah, thanks to your hickeys. I muttered, and he laughed. It sounded musical to me and caused me to smile.
“What time is it?” I asked. Darren shrugged and told me. “I... We should probably get going.” I made to move, but the pains around my thighs reminded me of what I have forgotten. Darren saw this and laughed. I blushed.
“Darren... I can't move. My legs feel like Jell-O,” I said, and he chuckled.
“Here, let me help you up.” He said and made to carry me, but I shifted backward. Darren raised his brows. Why am I suddenly self-conscious now?? Darren lifted me anyway, and I saw the stains on the sheets. Darren traced my gaze and shrugged.
“Don't worry, I'll have that cleaned up soon. I already ran your bath. We can't let that get cold.” He carried me to the bathroom and placed me gently on the bathtub. Kissing me on the forehead, he left afterward. I gently scrubbed my body, as I was still a bit sore but fine. When I was done, I wrapped a towel around my body and on my hair and proceeded out of the bathroom.
When I got out, he had cleared everything up and fresh clothes were laying on the bed. I picked it up and wore it. Darren came in shortly after with breakfast, and we ate in silence.
“Where's your phone?” He asked after her for a while.
“Hmm... Here it is.” I said and gave it to myself. I watched him do something with it and when he returned it to me, I realized he had changed the wallpaper. It was the picture we had taken on the date.
“Wow, it's even more beautiful than when we saw it last night,” I said. He showed me his phone, and I realized it was the same wallpaper on his. I smiled. We still have the necklace on, and I touched it.
“We'll be leaving soon.” He informed me. “But just before we go, I'd like to say something.”
“Which is?”. He looked at me gently before replying.
“I didn't think last night was a fling, and I hope you know that. So if you're thinking I'll leave you after it, well, you are thinking wrong. Frankly, I think we are just starting. All I ask is for you to stay when I being a big-time jerk. Whatever happens, just know that there'll be no life without you. No life without you.” He said, and I froze. Honestly, I didn't think he would say something like that. I stared at him loftily for a while. How can a guy be so romantic and smart at the same time??
Slowly, I nodded. “I won't. I promise,” I said and watched as the certainty filled his eyes. I smiled in satisfaction.
“You're ready to leave?” He asked after a while, playing with my hair. I giggled.
“Ready whenever you are ready,” I answered. He smirked and kissed me on the nose.
“I don't think I'm going to get tired of doing that....” He muttered.
“I don't want you to....” I said giggling... He grinned and held my hands, lifting me and carrying me out of the house. I giggled on the way out.
.
.
.
We arrived at the front of my house, and Darren stopped the car. I stared at the house, reluctant to get out.
“So, here we are. Aren't you coming down?” He asked as he drew closer to me.
“I will....” I muttered but still didn't move an inch.
“Aha! I know what to do. A kiss will help move these numb muscles.” He said and kissed my earlobes. I giggled.
“Oh my gosh Darren, we are in the front of my house!” I stated, but he just smirked harder.
“If you don't get down now, I'll be forced to lock the doors and drive back to the penthouse.” He said.
“To do what?”
“To finish what we started. Should I come inside with you?”
“No... That won't be necessary.” I said.
“You sure?”
“Definitely.” Color rose to my cheeks as I glared at him playfully. Darren only laughed harder. I opened the door and was about to go out, but he pulled me back.
“No good-bye kiss??” He asked, surprised.
“Ah....” I sighed and gave him a quick kiss on the lips before rushing out of the car. Unfortunately, I couldn't walk too fast, so I slowed down. Darren was still there. I turned back and yelled. “Hey! Stop looking at my butt!” I heard his laughter, and he honked in reply.
“I love you!”
“I love you more...” I said and walked into the gate. Finally, I made it into the house and met my mom standing there. She looked like she's been waiting for me with that smile on her face. I suddenly became nervous.
“Good morning Mom. I know what you are about to ask me, but please don't. We... Did it.” I hurriedly said. She made a tsk-like sound with her mouth and walked towards. I took a deep breath to calm my nerves down.
“Hey calm down. I'm not going to kill you. I see, he gave you a necklace.” She pointed out.
“It's a couple's necklace... The other half is with him... And,” I brought out my phone. “We took this picture. It's our new wallpaper now. And he said something I didn't think he'd say.” I explained. She looked at me, watching my every expression.
“He's a good kid.” She said simply. Then hugged me, which surprised me. “I'm happy your first is with someone you love. Something about that always makes it special.”
“Just like dad?” I asked hopefully.
“Yeah... You're just like your dad.” We pulled apart and said some more. “You should go have some rest now. After that, the maid will send up some drugs for you afterward. You must be drained.” I chuckled softly and held her hands for a while. Then I walked up the stairs into my room and dropped onto my bed. Touching the necklace on my neck, I smiled. Darren is such a sweetheart. I opened the phone and saw the wallpaper and I even blushed. I'll never forget this, I said to myself.

Natalie's POV
I had spoken to my brothers, most especially Greg, earlier this morning, and they said it was fine if Ariana came to visit. He also said that he and Maggie would be very busy as from yesterday so he wouldn't want me to be alone, so having Ariana around would be wonderful, Jace was pretty cool with it, but something tells me he's been seeing someone with his increased absence from home... But I'll have to just wait. I had told Ariana, and she's been super excited and couldn't wait to come over.
Right now I'm just waiting for her to show up, so I stayed in the living room watching TV–which I wasn't paying attention to. The doorbell rang, and I stood up and walked towards it. Just as I expected, the much-awaited guest was in front of my door. Ariana Campbell!
“Ah!!! Natalie, it's so great to see you again!” she screamed as she hugged me, suffocating me.” Damn! You're living the life here. Look at this house!” She yelled again. I patted her on the back and slowly pulled her away from me, even though she was still vibrating like hell. Then took a proper look at her.
“Wait, a sec..... You dyed your hair purple!!?” I asked, surprised.
“Yeah, look good on me?” She asked as she flipped it. It did look good on her, but I wasn't expecting this.
“Yeah sure... But why did you do it? You'll only be here for a few weeks!”
“The few weeks I plan to make the most of.” She then turned behind her and that's when I noticed her brother was still there. “Bye Teri, see you later.”
“Hi, Terrance. Good evening.” I greeted him, he waved and went back to his car, driving off.
“Soo... Want to show us around or not?” She asked, smiling her million-dollar smile. I smiled back and dragged her in, closing the door behind me and taking some of her luggage.
“Come over here. I've missed you.” We went up the stairs to my room, where she immediately dropped on my bed.
“Bouncy... Just the way I like it.” She muttered and stared at the entire room. “Gosh, your room is so beautiful. It even has a basketball hoop!”
“That's what money does,” I said and sat beside her. We stared at each other and then burst out giggling happily, rolling on each other.
“When do I get to see the brothers?” She asked, smiling down at me.
“Tomorrow, hopefully. I'll have to check with the school first.” I said and she pulled my ears. I winced.
“You're such a jerk.” She muttered, pouting. Just then, my phone rang, and I picked it up. It was Xavier calling.
“Who is it? Who is it? Let me see....” Ari drawled and came closer. Then she saw the ID and smirked. “She even has their number! What are you waiting for? Go pick it up!” I rolled my eyes and chuckled before picking it up.
“Hi Xavier,” I said into the phone with Ari listening in.
“Hi, Natalie. Good evening..... Can I see you tonight?” He asked.
“Yeah, sure. Is anything the problem?”
“No...Not really. I just want us to talk.”
“Um... Okay. I guess I'll see you then. The basketball court, okay?”
“Okay... Bye.”
“Bye.”
I hung up and Ari stared loftily at me.
“What?” I asked, she giggled. She opened her mouth to say something but then closed it, just when I thought she was going to give up she blurted it out.
“Can I come with you so I can see him?” She hurriedly asks.
“No! I already said you'll see them tomorrow. Besides, we just want to talk so it's nothing fancy.”
“But I want to see him!” Ari whined.
“You will honey, tomorrow.”.
“But tomorrow is so far away.....” she whined again and dropped on the bed.
“I have to go now. Stay put and don't break anything.” I said and left the room. By the time I'll come back, Ari would have turned it into a madhouse. I'm sure of that. I went out and began walking to the basketball court.
.
.
.
It was quite chilly tonight, but I already had my jacket on. I walked into the basketball court and met Xavier there. He was backing the entrance, so I only saw his back. I took a deep breath and called out to him. He slowly turned.
“Hi..... Sorry for calling you out.” He said as he saw me.
“No, it's okay. I wasn't doing anything special at home either.” I answered. He looked at me for a while before nodding. He seemed tensed.
“Hey, is everything okay?” I asked.
“Yeah, sure. Everything is fine. "
“So, why did you call me out? You said you wanted to talk to me about something.” I reminded. He nodded and rubbed the back of his neck. I don't know why, but his actions were beginning to tense me up as well. Finally, he said something.
“I... I wanted to call off the bet. It's not happening anymore. I'm sorry.” He announced.
I felt the color drain from my face. That sentence hit me in the gut, and I hate that it did. I managed to fill my lungs with air, and I found myself asking.
“What the hell did you just say?!”
