The wedding - Part 2

Glancing over my shoulder, he looked at the priest. "You can start now. And yes," his features hardened, "Make it quick!"

"Y-yes, of course, Mr. Larsen!" Came a timid reply behind me.

"Eager for the honeymoon?" Dimitri teased. Liam burst into laughter at that. While John had a small smile dancing on his lips, Dominic looked unbothered.

All of them donned tuxedos, much similar to Adrian.

As my soon to be husband sent a murderous glare at Liam, the ambience around us cackled with mirth.

The priest came over and we exchanged the rings. And then everything seemed to pass like a blur until the priest asked the most awaited question.

"Do you, Adrian Timothy Larsen, son of Sinister Timothy Petrosyan, take Sofia Annabeth McCommer as your wife?"

"I do," he answered without any hesitation.

My heart pounded down my chest. Breathing came out fast. But not out of panic, out of joy and excitement. It was finally going to happen. We were going to be each other's in every possible way.

"Do you, Sofia Annabeth McCommer, daughter of Leonardo McCommer, take Adrian Timothy Larsen as your husband?"

"I do."

Tears of felicity and unconditional love brimmed my vision, thus the priest announced us as husband and wife.

"You may kiss the bride now."

Even before he could finish his line, my impatient husband pulled me into him. Circling his strong arms around me, with his eyes brighter than I had ever seen, his mouth covered mine in a passionate toe curling kiss that took my breath away.

The church rang with whistles and applause. When we pulled away, both breathless, we stared into each other's eyes. Our faces adorned with face-splitting grins.

"Finally!" He breathed out. "You're mine. In every possible way."

The huskiness in his voice and tight grip on my hips sent a delicious shiver down my spine.

Before I could respond, I was tackled in a bone crushing hug. Laura's squeal in my ear made me cringe. Soon Chloe joined.

"Congratulations, my doll! I'm so happy for you!" she yelled out, literally. A bright smile etched on their faces as my other best friend bobbed her head. "Now all I want is to be a godmother!"

My eyes widened. Glancing at Adrian, I found him grunting in Liam's bear hug. Clearing my throat, I turned back to her.

"Easy there. Aren't you being too excited?"

She rolled her eyes. "Why not? You know it's been my wish since our childhood. That I'm…"

"Move, will you? Let me hug my sister," said Alex, moving Laura aside with his shoulder. A chuckle left me at her glare.

I wrapped my arms around him as he kissed my head, murmuring how happy he was for me. And then came my other brother.

"Max," whispering, I let him take me in his arms. His familiar scent felt home.

"Tomato," he said. Emotions were thick in his tone. But he cleared his throat soon. "Congratulations. I… I wish you a long happy life."

Pulling away, I beamed at him. "Thank you, Max."

He cleared his throat again. "I know you will start living with Adrian now. But… just try to not go far from here."

My vision burned.

Adrian had businesses in different cities and countries. And since he mentioned about moving out from his penthouse and shifting to another place after the wedding, Max was upset with this news. He didn't want me to leave the city, away from him and our family.

I couldn't even imagine doing that.

"Don't worry. I can't stay away from you guys as well. I will talk to Adrian about it."

Letting out a sigh, he nodded.

Turning around, as soon as his eyes met Laura, a pink tint covered her cheeks. And I didn't miss the way his eyes lingered on her.

Well…

It seemed like my best friend was keeping a secret from me.

My lips twitched at the side.

Soon everyone came one by one to congratulate and give us some words of blessings. Even Sinister shocked me when he gave me a fatherly hug, expressing how he always knew that I was the one for his son. I was really touched by the gesture. Though Adrian didn't care much to return his Dad's hug.

But it was an improvement that he was letting his father be around him. And Lilly couldn't be any more happier.

Mom literally broke into gleeful tears while Dad had moisture in his eyes. It was the first time I saw him in tears.

Once everyone was done with their greetings and congratulations, our best friends circled us again, teasing and making jokes, especially Liam. And all the while Adrian didn't let go of his arm around me. He refused to. And I didn't mind at all.

"Let's get out of here, shall we?" His dark voice whispered into my ear. His hot breath fanning my skin sent shivers of excitement through my veins, causing a fierce tug at my core.

"Not now, we have to be present at the reception and what about our first dance?" I glanced up at his beautiful electric blue eyes.

"I don't care," he grumbled. "Let's just get outta here. They can have the cake and dance among themselves."

My lips curled up at the sides, seeing his stubbornness and lack of control.

"No can do. I want the cake."

Pressing his lips, he glared at me. But I didn't mind. I was used to his hot-headedness now.

"I will buy you an entire shop of cakes. You don't need this one."

Letting out a laugh, I shook my head before grabbing his hand. "Let's go. It won't take much time, I promise."

With that, I dragged his glaring and grumbling ass to the reception where all our family would be present.

***

As soon as the cake was cut, he pulled me to him. Irritation was laced on his face. "Are you done?"

Something that poked in my abdomen made me gasp and turn scarlet.

"I need you," he groaned in my ear. His rough hands ran up and down my arms.

I shivered.

So that's why my husband couldn't wait for the day to end. His patience was hanging by a thin line.

Thinking about being alone with him after so many days, butterflies danced in my tummy. I licked my lips.

"Okay," I whispered, tucking a strand behind my ear, suddenly feeling shy. "Just let me toss the bouquet before leaving. Otherwise my friends will kill me. They're too excited for it."

Letting out a curse, he gave a hesitant nod. "Alright, let's get finished with it."

The crowd had a chorus of excitement as all the unmarried girls lined behind me while I stood with the bouquet in my hand, ready to throw it.

"Ready?" I asked over my shoulder.

"Yes!" Their replies were energetic.

Giggling, glancing at Adrian who stood not too far from me with a scowl, I tossed the bouquet over my shoulder.

But instead of the laughter and squeals I expected, there was a silence. And the most unexpected expression was on my husband's face. His jaw clenched, eyes narrowed.

Turning around, my gaze landed on the flower bouquet and then traveled to the face of the holder.

Lilly?

Her cheeks were red as tomatoes under everyone's stare. Her gaze soon found my father-in-law's.

I bit my lip to stop the smile growing on my face as I watched her blushing furiously when lots of congratulations and whistles started to come in her way once the surprise was gone. Whilst Sinister held the equally pleased look in his eyes staring at her.

Though I couldn't say the same about my husband. He didn't look happy at all. And before he could pop his parents' magical moment, I steered him away to the limousine where our chauffeur was waiting for us to take us to our destination. Of course, I bid quick goodbyes to everyone before that.

***

I bit back a moan as his hand slid up my thigh, his mouth littering hickeys on my neck and throat under the darkness of the car. Thankfully the driver couldn't see us due to the partition.

My impatient husband pulled me on his lap as soon as his focus wavered from his parents. And his hands were unstoppable since then.

I panted as his hand went to my chest. When I tried to slap his perverted hands away, they returned not a second later.

"Mmm, don't. You're ruining my makeup and dress," I whispered, breathless. "We need to go to the airport, remember?"

His private jet was waiting for us, to take us to the place he had planned for our honeymoon. Even after my thousand pleadings, he didn't reveal the name. He wanted to surprise me.

A gasp slipped through my lips as he reached my behind. Cupping my cheeks, he pulled me flush against him.

"We aren't going to the airport," he murmured in his dark husky voice.

I slightly pulled away, frowning. "Then where are we going?"

A smirk tugged up his desirable lips. "Somewhere. We will go on our honeymoon, but not today."

"Somewhere where? Tell me!"

Ignoring me, he nibbled my jaw. A chuckle left him at my pout.

"You will get to see it soon." With that, he captured my mouth. His hands went back to his exploration, as much as they could without getting my dress off me completely.

And even with his touch, I couldn't get rid of the anticipation.

What did he plan for us?

***

"We're here," he announced.

Pulling away from his warmth, I adjusted my dress before glancing outside.

The car came to a halt before an enormous gate.

The driver soon opened the door for Adrian.

The sky started to turn scarlet with the sun setting at the end of the sky. Birds were returning to their respective nests as the evening wind blew out across the place filled with green. Only a couple of houses could be seen in the distance, leaving the area rest in serene.

Two guards saluted Adrian as he stepped out of the car. Coming around it, he gave me his hand. A grin adorned his face.

"Ready for the wedding gift, Love?"

Wedding gift?

I laughed at his enthusiasm.

Securing my hand in his, he motioned one of the guards to open the gate. And as soon as the gate opened, my breath hitched at my throat beholding the sight before my eyes.

A house.

A beautiful two story house covered in black and white with hip roofs at the top, stood before me. It was surrounded by small rose gardens here and there. Where most of the first floor was covered with glass, the garage was made of polished wood. And the huge fountain that was situated before it complemented it nicely.

"A-adrian, it's..." A tightness felt around my throat. My eyes burned with tears.

"Everything you wanted in your home," he whispered, observing me closely.

He once asked me how my dream house would be when we cuddled on his hospital bed. And the beauty that stood before me was my answer.

He remembered. He remembered every detail.

"You remembered." My watery gaze met his intense one.

"How would I not?" He kissed my nose. "Do you like it?"

Despite everything, an uncertainty flashed across his features.

"I love it!" I replied. "Thank you! It's so beautiful! Just as I imagined." Happiness burst into my heart with a bright grin stretched across my face.

Watching me for a moment, he grabbed my hand. "Let's go, let me show you our new home."

Our home.

Warmth surged through me as he said 'our'.

The inside was much more stunning than the outside. I was in awe as he gave me a tour of the house. Every corner of the house screamed rich. From the white marble floors to the enormous crystal chandelier that hung in the middle of the hall.

"So? What do you say?" He asked, showing me the last room at the corner of the hall.

"Everything is amazing. But don't you think it's too big for just the two of us?" I raised my brow.

"Adrian Larsen doesn't do small. You're his queen, and queens don't stay in small houses. They live in palaces, love. So from now, this will be your palace. Get used to it." He pulled me flat against him.

I chuckled, rolling my eyes.

Arrogant ass!

"Yes, but there are seven rooms in here and they're only just the bedrooms, I'm not even counting the others!" I shook my head. "What will I do with so many rooms?"

"Relax, Love. One is our bedroom, one will be my office, two for guests and the rest are for our kids in the future. See? Problem solved!" He shrugged.

Kids?

I shifted on my legs, tucking a strand behind my ear. "Umm..."

"Come with me." Cutting me off, he took me out of the room with him.

"Where are you taking me?"

Looking over his shoulder, he winked. "We cut out our first dance short. So we have to enjoy it properly, don't we?"

Yes, but I wanted to give him my wedding gift before that.

Shrugging off his jacket, he rolled his sleeves to his elbows which made me just stare, and disappeared somewhere ordering me to stay right there.

The lights dimmed as soft music started to humm across the hall. Soon he returned with a bottle of champagne in one hand, while two glasses occupied the other.

Putting them down on a table, he took me right under the chandelier with my hand in his bigger one.

My heart raced as his dark eyes met mine. They peered right in my soul.

I took a deep breath.

Before he could ask me to dance, I put a finger on his lips. "Before we start, I want to give you my wedding gift."

A teasing smile formed at the corner of his mouth. His eyes sparkled with amusement. "Your wedding gift? I thought you already gave it to me by becoming mine for the rest of our lives."

I shook my head, licking my lip. My mouth suddenly went dry. "N-no. Uh, I still have something to give you. Tell you actually."

A seriousness claimed his features as he watched me closely.

"Love," taking a step closer, he cupped my face, "What is it? Is something wrong?"

"No, everything is fine." I just hoped it would remain that way after the news I was gonna give him. "It's just, uh..."

"Sofia." He made me look into his eyes. "What is it, baby?"

"I…"

He nodded, urging me to go ahead.

"I'm pregnant!"

Silence.

His hands froze on me.

I let out a shaky breath while he just stared at me. Shock laced across his features.

Will he get mad?

Anxiousness knotted in my tummy.

I knew he also wanted kids, but not that soon. Somewhere in the future. When we talked about it, he told me that he wanted me only for himself for some time before he had to share me with our kids. And that's what scared me most.

He didn't want children at this moment.

What if- what if he doesn't want to keep it?

"A-adrian? Say something, please."

He didn't answer. My heart broke a little in the process. A lone tear rolled down my cheek as I bit my lip, looking down.

"A- a baby?"

My eyes snapped to him. His gaze lingered on my flat stomach.

"Yes," I whispered.

"My baby?"

Frowning, I pushed him away.

"Of course, it's your baby. What do you mean by that?"

He seemed shocked at the sudden outburst. Realization soon settled on his face as he shook his head. "No, I didn't mean it that way. I..."

His dazed eyes went back to my stomach. Coming closer, he kneeled before me, touching my belly hesitantly, but in a gentle way.

"A-a baby girl?"

Adrian Larsen was stuttering?

I giggled, my anger dissolving.

"We can't tell yet."

Then my smile started to fade away.

"You are not mad, are you?"

Frowning, he looked at me before standing up. "Of course not! Why would I be mad, love? You've given me the second best thing in this entire world. You made my life complete today." His big warm hands cupped my face again. "There is no way I would be mad. In fact I'm so freaking happy today."

With several emotions swirling in his blue oceans, a bright smile lit on his face.

"You've made it more special for me, love. Thank you, thank you so much for this priceless gift."

Joy and warmth surged through my chest at his statement.

"I thought you didn't want kids yet... Wait! Second best thing?" I raised my brow.

He laughed, happiness radiating off of him. His laughter rang like music in my ears.

"You're the first. And yes, I wasn't planning to have kids right away. But since she is here already, we will love her unconditionally," he said, glancing back at my tummy.

"It can be a he, you know?" My lips twitched. Tears blurred my vision.

I blinked them away.

I was too emotional these days. Must be the hormones.

"I know it's a she." He grinned, making me shake my head. "When did you find out?"

My hand roamed over my flat belly. This was where the symbol of our love was growing. "Last week."

"Then why didn't you tell me earlier?" The place between his brows pinched.

Wrapping my arms around him, I placed my head on his chest. "I wanted to tell you on our wedding night. And... I was a little nervous, I didn't know how you would react."

His arms tightened around me. "There is nothing to be nervous of, love. I will always support you in everything."

Tilting my head, I captured his lips with mine, showing him my appreciation and love.

He groaned as I deepened our kiss, entangling my tongue with him, battling for dominance. But of course, he won. Sparks ran through my veins in intense pleasure as he sucked and nibbled on my lower lip. And I returned the favor eagerly.

Breathless, when we pulled away, he rested his forehead against mine. Our breathings were ragged.

"Fuck! That was..."

I chuckled. "I know."

Circling my arms around his neck, we then started to sway leisurely under the soft music. With his scent engulfing me whole, his strong arms firmly wrapped around me and my head tucked under his chin; our hearts beat simultaneously.

I sighed in content.

"Adrian?"

"Hmm?"

"I'm happy," I said, with my head still against his chest.

"Me too, baby. You make me happy." He pulled me closer.

Looking up, I gazed into the electric blue eyes I was so much in love with. "I love you."

Breathing out, he kissed my forehead. "I love you too." His fingers brushed my stomach. "I love you both."

My heart fluttered with warmth.

A gasp slipped through my lips as he suddenly cupped my butt, pulling me against him.

"Now that the dance is over, can I take my wife to bed so that I can have my ways with her? She has been a very bad girl. And I need to punish her thoroughly," he whispered in his deep husky voice, his hot breath fanning the sensitive skin of my neck.

"You're a pervert. You know that, Mr. Larsen?" I teased.

"Only for you, Mrs. Larsen."

A squeal left my mouth as he crouched down and scooped me in his arms bridal style.

"Adrian! Put me down!"

But as usual, my stubborn man didn't listen to me. He only pulled me closer to his chest ignoring my whines. His laughter boomed across the silent house as he climbed up the stairs with me in his arms.

Letting out a sigh, I melted against him.

This was where I wanted to be for the rest of my life. This was my home. He was my home. My everything.

The End
