Chapter 17
When they got to the mainland Jazzy was too tired to do anything. Jeff walked her to his car and helped her in, Jeff got in and started the car, looking at her as she slept, he wondered what she would think of his place. The others would stay the night and go home in the morning, it was the same as any other time.
Pulling in Jeff parked the car in front of the side door it was unlocked with al at the door. Jeff opened Jazzy’s door and picked her up and carried her to his room. Waking up in the morning Jazzy looked around and seen it was a big room with a big bed.
Looking for Jeff and not finding him she jumped up and went to the first door which was to a large bathroom and Jeff was there. Trying to give him his space Jazzy turned to leave when he saw her. “Jazz it's ok come in, this is our bathroom. Feel free to use it, Al went to the store and got something for you. If you want to relax in the tub you can. But the others are downstairs waiting for me. Will you be ok?” “I woke up alone in a big bed and thought it was a dream sorry.” “Jazz, it's ok it will take time to get used to it.”
“I am not mad. I promise.” Walking over to her, he kissed her and held her before going to the room she followed him, and he showed her where she could put her things. Go take a bath come down when you are done.
Walking into the dining room Jeff saw the guys eating and drinking coffee. “So, have any of you got ready for the visit home?” They all looked at him with a look that was not so happy. Scared to ask he walked over and poured coffee, sat down “ok what happened now?” Al came in with a note.
“Dear Jeff, Jay, John, Jack…
Evening, gentlemen. We will arrive tomorrow morning. First, we want to meet Jazzy. Second, we want to do family activities before you make a run for it. And finally, Jeff, your family wants to see everyone and hold a party at YOUR HOUSE! Now we know you are all very tired, but it is too late to say no. The Wives of the other J’s.”
Looking at everyone is faces he became grumpy. “Not what we need right now.” “There is not a lot of food and the other rooms are not to their liking.” “Sir, the ladies have arrived and all the children. Also, I went shopping for everything yesterday.”
“It is about to get loud in here let us go out the back…” Crystal walked in with her and Jays' kids, “I do not think so Jeff.” “DADDY!” Jay was knocked over by his kids they were all laughing he kissed his wife. The next wave of kids were Jack's little girls who ran into his arms with kisses and smiles, John's kids right after and kisses and love. Jeff was happy seeing his friend’s families were there. He had been thinking about his future kids with Jazzy when Jane and Kay came in followed by his wife.
Smiling she walked overlooking confused “who are all these people?” Standing Jeff said, “everyone this is my beautiful wife Jazzy,” “Jazzy this is Jay's wife crystal, and their kids, Jack's girlfriend Jane and his two girls, John's girlfriend Kay and his kids.”
“I guess my family will be here soon.” “So, we will not be alone for some time.” “Hello everyone, nice to meet you all. I got news my family will be here too, and before they get here, we need to talk.” Jazzy said to Jeff. “My love, nothing anyone can do or say will change us. I promise.”
