Darrien POV

BBBBBOOOOOOMMMM The pack house shook, and the room filled with smoke.

"Darrien, are you okay?" Catherine's voice is full of worry.

I try to respond by I can only cough as I reach for her. Finally, I was able to speak. "Yes, I am okay. You are okay?" The smoke starts to clear and she nods. She grabs the pup monitor and the pups are still sleeping. "You get the pups to the safe room with Tracy settled. Once you're done mindlink me and we will meet up." I kiss her lips. Fuck I miss her body so much.

I open the mind link to all pack members "Emergency Code BLACK. Get to safety. Pups, Injured, elderly, and pregnant wolves to the bunkers, or safe rooms. Warriors to your zones. Update watch commanders with invaders." I grab my cell and send out a pack-wide text including King Aiden and the Snow pack members the same message."

I run into Beta Frank as he is fighting Blue Claw pack members and rouges. "Fuck Man where are they all coming from?" We watch and young wolves come out in waves. Both Frank and I are trying not to kill the young wolves but it's hard to incapacitate them. As we are fighting four young wolves Catherine walks out.

"ENOUGH!" She yells and lifts her hand floating all the young wolves leave 10 adult wolves. "MY pups are fucking sleeping. You wake them and I will kill you!" You could see the fear in their eyes. She stomped her foot and a 10-foot hole the width of a football field. I lowered her hand and placed the young wolves inside the hole. " Stay here and be quiet. I will release you after I speak to you. If you cause issues or wake my pups I will kill you. So play nice. I watch her in awe as all the wolves stop fighting confused about what is happening. "Blue Claw member and rouges if you plan to die, please keep fighting. OR you can sit down and talk to me or the Alpha or the Alpha King. If you stay standing I will kill you!" She unrolled her fist with a ball of fire inside. Frank and I stopped to see almost all the wolves sitting only three stayed standing. She tossed the ball in the air to have the two wolves covered in flames burning to the ground the third looked like he had a bubble around him. "Beta Frank, capture and take him in the cuff to the cells. Also, find that moonstone."

"Yes, Luna." He bowed his head as he and the other wolf attacked each other. I could see that he had knocked out the wolf but Frank was hurt with a chuck of his hip missing. "Damn, the wolf got a good bite in." He chuckled.

"Beta Frank, When you have that wolf in the cells go to the safe room the pack doctor is inside and I am sure Tracy will want to see you," I said worried that it may be more damage than he is not saying. Tracy, Frank has been hurt but he is walking and talking. He will be upstairs in 5 minutes. Please have the med bed ready. Do not stress I know he will be okay. I mind-link trying to give as much calm as possible but I know better when your mate is hurt.

Catherine's POV

"Alpha Darrien, Do you mind if I speak to the young wolves?" He looks at me and nods. I can tell he is mind-linking as his shoulders always stiffen. Minutes later the medic teams came out to help all the injured wolves and left tags on the wolves that were dead.

I set up a table with our Omega who is also a social worker. I lift one wolf at a time to talk.

hours later

I am sitting in my office with a list of 121 wolves attacked the pack of which 108 were all young wolves between ages 16 and 18. Nine adult wolves only one is a ranked wolf however three wolves were killed. The reports have been coming in as I fill up an overall view. Darrien come in worried.

"What's wrong?" Darrien just keeps pacing back and forth. I stand up walk over to him and grab his shoulders. Staring at his eyes and kissing him passionately. "Darrien, the pups are asleep and fine. So what is got you so upset?"

"Frank, he is in surgery that fucking wolf had silver in his mouth. He may lose his wolf and even worse I can even integrate the wolf his tongue was cut out." Darrien growled out. I smile and kiss him.

"I can help on both counts. Ask Aiden to meet me in the office in half an hour. Now let's go see Frank and Tracy." I beam with happiness. I grab the reports and list as we walk to the pack hospital. "Darrien, I want an apartment building next door for all the young wolves. I also want the first floor turned into a makeshift school. After interviewing all the young wolves it is clear Alpha John is forcing them by hurting their families."

"Yeah, I agree. After hearing how the pack members have been treated I want to offer the whole pack sanctuary."

"Darrien, I agree with you. Once we merge the packs and update everything we will offer them the ability to return." I walk into the surgical wing and the operating room.

I see one doctor, Tracy, and two nurses."Hold Frank down. I will pull all the silver out of his body but it will hurt him." I close my eyes and imagine the fluid in his body slowly coming out of his hip. I hear some gasps and I open my eyes to see the silver fluid pouring out of the wound. Now to find his wolf. I grab his hand whispering "Tank, take control and let your mate know that you're alive. If you do not I will drag your furry ass back. No one should go through what I have." Frank's eyes open and he growls low and closes them again. Releasing his hand and taking Tracy's hand. "Tracy, they will be fine. Tank is going to struggle to heal but if you lick the wound it will heal faster."

"Catherine, Tally, and Kimmy are calling us to the office they say it's important." We walk in to see one of the adult wolves sitting down with both girls holding a shoulder. He has short black slightly messy, wavy hair, a square jaw with rosy cheeks, and thin lips. "Gamma Tally and Gamma Kimmy, What is going on?" Darrien is trying to calm down from his concern for the unknown wolf.

"He is our mate," Kimmy says flatty"
"He was forced to be a warrior knowing that he is an omega. His name is Matthew," Tammy said as she rubbed his shoulder.

Just as they finish explain how they were putting the wolves in the cells. Aiden walks in to get me.

"Aiden, I need your help. Can you make Matthew here answer the questions truthfully?" He nods.

"Tammy and Kimmy go sit down on the couch away from Matthew. If you take a step forward I will remove you from the pack." They nod and sit down.

"Matthew, Were you forced into this situation?"

"Yes"

"Do you have a chosen mate?"

"No"

"Who is the wolf that had the moonstone?"

"Thomas he is the Gamma."

"Will you harm anyone in this pack or my Gammas?"

"No Never."

"Good. Gammas Take your mate upstairs to your room and give the monitor to Emily."
