Catherine's POV

I walk into the war room and my body is so relaxed. After Athen told me that the Mate Bond has been restored if it breaks again it will not come back. Zeus and Athena mated multiple times in the woods. I did ask not to be knotted until Darrien and I can figure out our lives better. I sat down beside Darrien as Frank, Tracy, Aiden, Emily, and Kayden. As I watch Darrien set up the video chat with Derrick & Donald.

"I just wanted to let everyone know that two more people will be arriving soon. I am not wanting them here but we need the intel. Please welcome Council members Mark and Jackie." Just on cue, the devil herself walked in like she owned the place. She walked around the table to the other side of Darrien and placed her hand on his shoulder.

"GRRRRR. Get your hand off my mate before I kill you!" Athena screamed at her. She placed her hand in a surrender motion. I bared my teeth until she backed up to the corner. "Better stay at least 5 feet away or I will kill you in a second." I snap my fingers causing a spark to happen.

"Luna, Jackie is here to help the pack. Please do not kill my charge. After we are done the battle she will return to her pack." Council Member Mark said.

"No. She will not take the Blue Claw pack. It will be merged with Red Knight's pack. She will be rehoused in another pack in Canada away from my pack and the surrounding packs. My cousin does not want slut trash nearby." Aiden said in his King tone.

"Sorry, Luna Catherine. I didn't mean to disrespect you. I am here to answer any questions on the attack methods and the layout of the packhouse. When you go to war I will be housed in the cells." I nodded at her answer but watched her like a hawk during our meeting.

"After meeting with a witch who has been helping out Blue Claw, They have moon stones these stones prevent the use of my powers as for Luna Catherine's powers it is like a personal bubble. So those who have the moonstone must kill with your hands or handcrafted weapons." Aiden said and I nodded along staring at Jackie wishing her death in different ways. Darrien grabs my hand and stays focused on the meeting, but he is trying to calm me down by rubbing my palm as he holds my hand. I took a few deep breaths and relaxed my shoulders. Jackie tried to move to tell us about the layout but I snapped my fingers and made sparks appear at her feet. I pointed back at her seat, so she sat back down and continued speaking about the layout. I grinned at Darrien and he returned it.

We agreed that we would do three waves of attack that start tomorrow. Wave one front attack, wave two hostages released, and the third investigation in pack member. Once we were done packing up to leave I noticed Jackie stood up in our way. I growl as I am at my limit with her behavior. "Jackie, You are on my last nerve and I will not play with you. Move and stay away from me and my family or I will make you regret it and you will never see your mate again." I growl out as I try to keep Athena under control. She is clawing in my head and pushing her body against my mind. Athena, Stop! Let me handle her! I am screaming because she is causing me pain.

"Look Catherine I need to speak to Darrien." Jackie flutters her eyelashes at him.

"You will not speak to him. If you have a concern speak to Council member Mark. This is your last warning." I use my Luna voice as sternly as possible.

"Please Darrien. Make me your Luna. You don't want this sluty she-wolf as your mate. Please I know how to make you feel better than she is." Jackie says as she tries to reach for him. I glare at her and then at Council Member Mark.

"FUCK YOU!" I spit as I touch Darrien causing a flame to cover his skin. "I warned you that you will not get a chance to see your mate." I clap my hands together foucing them together her face causing a bright light pulse as if it was a lightning bolt. "You're blind now. Try again I will make you lose your hearing."

"Luna. You know we have to go through the council for punishment." Council member Mark said.

"You were permitted to stay here with her if she behaves. Her behavior needs to be corrected and IF you allow her behavior to continue I will correct her again. Once I have I will speak with the council about your lack of control over this shameless she-wolf who has a mate." I growl in his face.

Darrien grabbed my hand."Let's go see our pups and leave this harlot with Council member Mark alone with their shameful acts." We walk out to our pups' room. We each pick up a pup as Darrien changes Apollo's diaper and I feed Artemis and pump my other breast.

" You are so sexy when you're possessive over me. You are a great mother and mate." He said blowing a kiss to me. I smiled as we had a good rhythm as parents. I have planned a date night after the battle. After both pups were clean and fed they started to fall asleep. Darrien helped me put the pups to bed and we walked hand in hand to the alpha bed. "Please go take a shower I will keep an eye on the pups." I smile and kiss his cheek as I hop into the shower. I walked out and saw that he laid out my fluffy pajamas and my favorite book. Darrien has his crossword book out and has soft acoustic music playing.

"This is amazing you are so sweet. Thank you." I got dressed and curled into bed. I open my book which is bookmarked "I love you always Darrien." written on it with a photo of us with the pups and lean over to kiss him. "Thank you. You really know how to make me feel special." I kiss him again. I curl into his side as I read my book.

BBBBBOOOOOOMMMM The pack house shook, and the room filled with smoke.

"Darrien, are you okay?" My voice was full of worry, but there was only silence.
