Catherine's POV
Zeus walked me to our recreational center. "Is it okay if Darrien has some time with you?"
"Yes. He will need to do a lot of writing. So I will use him and then abuse you later." I winked at him as he chuckled. I watch as he closes his eyes and his body language shifts.
"Just because Zeus struggles with writing does not mean I like to be abused too." I saw him pouting.
"I am not ready to yet. Please do not push me with you. I want to build up our trust. Zeus never did."
"I know Catherine. Sorry. I will take whatever you want to give me and I will do whatever I can to build that trust." as he opened the door to the Rec Centre.
It was decorated with soft yellows and greens. It was beautiful along with a very comfy glider chair. "My queen." Darrien waved to the big comfortable chair and I smiled at the gesture and sat down. I looked at the control panel and it had a heat function. I smiled so big it hurt my cheeks and pushed the temp button high. Darrien walked to the little tablet with a bowl on it. He grabs a card and a clothespin. 'Don't say Baby' under the title was a bunch of words not to say.

I blushed and I was amazed at the setup of the hall. Only then did the crowd of people from the pack show up. Frank and Tracy came over and congratulated me on the twins. I saw in the corner of the room a table which was getting a lot of gifts. Kayden, Dad, and Father came over and hugged me and told me how I glowed. Darrien handed me a glass of water as I was getting tired of the wide-side hugs while in a chair. Aiden showed up and everyone bowed to him. I giggled and hugged him. "Always the crowd pleaser." I snickered at him and he just grinned like a cat who ate a bird. I started to laugh even more. I introduced Aiden to everyone in the hall skipping Darrien as he was running around. I called Darrien to come over to come sit beside me.
"King Aiden, Cousin this is the sire to my pups and we are slowly working to rebuild our relationship. Darrien this is my cousin with magic, so behave." I watched as Darrien visibly started to sweat and I hid my smile behind the glass of water.
"Oh, this is the human that broke your heart. You are letting Grandmother try to fix the bond." I nodded and he looked at Darrien. "Who is your wolf?"
"Zeus. Whoa, why did that come out not that I am hiding anything but why?" I could see the stress on his face.
"Darrien, I am Alpha King, and as my cousin said I have magic. The control of the mind. So will you ever betray my cousin?" I stare at Aiden one why here and now.
"No, never," Darrien said with conviction.
"Aiden, Can we do this later?" I asked concerned that we may be putting on a show. He nodded. The baby games finished and everyone was in full swing it was down to me and Aiden. We play blindfold diaper change, and pup bottle drinks off (mostly the younger adult wolves like this game as a drinking game).
"Please do not forget to submit the baby names." Darrien's said as I told him earlier that I hadn't thought of baby names. So he came up with this idea where everyone submits ideas for me or us to choose from.
Darrien hung his head and then I could see his eyes clouded.
He went up and said "Thank you, everyone, for coming. As you are aware we are playing a 'don't say' game I wanted to thank Catherine for allowing me to be here. I know you struggled with your favorite bread, so I was able to get you some." He then went to the door and opened the rec center doors to reveal Emily. I started to cry and I struggled to get up. I waddle over to her as her eyes teared up. I hugged her while crying.
"Luna Catherine, Who is that man that was beside you?" I hear her whisper.
"Oh, that's my cousin." I put my hand in hers as I walked back to Aiden. "Emily this is my cousin Aiden. Aiden this my best friend...."
"MATE." He said I took his clothespin.
"YES! I win. Aiden and Emily go enjoy a talk. Thank you for coming today." I kissed his cheek and Emily growled and I kissed her cheek to have him growl at me too. "Go." I watched Emily's shocked face as Aiden walked her out of the hall.
Kayden walked over and put his arm around my shoulder. "Always left out of having a mate." I giggled and pushed his arm off.
"It will happen." I sat back down as I shivered. Then my teeth started to chatter and my fingers started to go number. "ZEUS" I screamed as it went black.
