*LUNA*

My eyes widened at Rebekah in shock, Kayden sentence them to death? I swallowed hard having no idea how to react, true what Heather did to me was horrible but I don't want her death. If her mate died it was fine by me but her? I made to leave the room hoping to change Kayden's mind but Scarlet and Rebekah moved at once blocking me from leaving.

"What are you too doing?" I asked looking back and forth between them for answers.

"Don't tell me you are going back there to stop Alpha from giving them the punishment they deserve and by the way you were order to stay here. What would he think if you return to the feast" Rebekah answered shaking her head at me.

"Killing them won't change what happened to me, plus I'm glad I stood up to her even if it wasn't the way I would like to. Exacting revenge is not going to change anything" I pointed out.

"But it will make you feel good. Don't deny it, you want something bad to happen to them. Remember I was present here while you threatened her? You know why she got scared? Because she knew you meant everything. They deserve what is coming to them" Scarlet insisted.

A knock on the door made them moved away from it, Rebekah opened the door, with a confuse look on my face I watched as up to five servants stepped into my room.

"Alpha asked us to bring your things in his room" They informed me as they went about doing what they were ordered to do. I stood there watching them and recalling what Scarlet had told me, being mated to Alpha Kayden might not be so bad I thought. Darting a quick look in both Scarlet and Rebekah's direction, when I saw that they were pretty distracted by what the servants were doing, I slip out of the room noticed.

Except there is no more feast when I returned to the ballroom, in fact the slaves had started to clean the room. I look around nervously for any sign of Kayden but I couldn't find him anywhere. "Where is your Alpha?" I asked one of the guards who just stared blankly at me. Taking a deep breath, I shouted. "Where is the Alpha"

"In the dungeon!" He finally replies, shooting him a death stare I hurried towards the dungeon.

Getting to the entrance, the guards wouldn't let me in, from the distance I could hear a female voice screaming repeatedly. It was so hard to listen to that I had to cover my ears which did nothing to conceal the noise, a minute later I sighted Kayden walking towards the entrance.

"When she is weak and miserable enough, dump her back to her pack and as for the male. Make sure he is raped repeatedly in the ass until he dies" I heard Kayden instructed making me to freeze in shock, It was then I realize the female voice screaming is no other than Heather. Is she being tortured? My heart raced as the scream reminded me of the time I had screamed, pleaded for her to let me go.

"What the fuck are you doing here!" Kayden snarled at me, jolting me back to present. I wipe away the tears on my face, staring at him like some kind of monster.

"What did you do?" I demanded as my voice quiver, my lips trembles from the voice of holding back my emotions.

"You are not supposed to be here" He reported walking away, I followed him asking him questions but I got none in reply. He ignored me completely until I wasn't only frustrated but angry as well, people give us curious stare as we walked past. I hesitated in front of his room before following him in.

"What did you do?! You have to tell me! What did you do to Heather? What were you talking about? You instructed the guards to do what?" I shivered in fear staring at Kayden as he glared back at me. I prayed that it wasn't what I was thinking, he might be heartless but he wasn't a monster, I wanted to believe that.

"Tell you what? That I made those who hurt you pay? You should be happy!" He snapped.

"They are your guests Kayden, you cannot just kill two members of another pack and not expect war to happen. They will fight back, I know Heather has wronged me but please let her go. I do not want any body's death on my conscience" I pleaded hoping he would understand.

"No" He reported angrily. "I will give them a mark each of them will never forget, as for the male creature who dared to ever think of forcing himself for what's mine has been given death. I told my men to rape him to death. When he comes back to this world again, he will never think of forcing his attention where it isn't wanted" Before I could reply, he pushed me against the wall, kissing me hungrily. I was too stunned to move or even react, sensing my lack of response he pulled away.

"Kiss me Luna" He ordered, his lips pressing against mime.

I wretched my lips away from his. "I will not. Tell me you will let Heather go? Please" I pleaded.

"So sweet" He murmuring running Hus finger down my face. "So innocent, so pure but you need to understand I'm not like that. I'm not going to kill her" He told me coursing me to breath in relief. "I will just damage her enough to be through the hell she had put you and every other weak girl. She will live the rest of her life hating not only herself but her body as well, the same way you do" My breath itch in my throat at that. He pulled away, giving me a twisted smile.

"What can of damage are we talking about?" I asked dreadfully.

"I ordered five of the prisoned guards to rape her until she is too weak to scream, once they are done having fun with her. They are to trash her back to the pack she came from" Tears rolled down my face at his statement as I recalled Heather screams. Unable to stop myself, I slapped him as hard as I could on his face.

"Have you gone mad! You are really a monster!" I cried out, any chance of me getting a happily ever after from this man went down the drain. "You killed someone for trying to force himself on me and then punish someone by having people rape her! What does that make you Kayden!" I growled at me.

"I don't fucking care what that makes me. I could have killed her but I didn't since you don't want any death on your conscience, now she will spend every day hating and loathing herself, every time she bare to look in the mirror she will remember what she did to you that brought hell upon her. I never said I was nice Luna, you know me before you became my mate. Don't expect me to change. After the guards finished with her, I will have them killed too" He place a kiss on my cheek before strolling out of the room.

I stare blankly after him in shock before collapsing on the fault knowing everything that happened was by fault. I shouldn't have told him anything but then I didn't know he cared this much about me. I don't even know what more frightening, the uncaring Kayden or the caring one.
