Chapter 40 Your new owner
Madison's POV
"Who were you with last night?"
I froze, my shoulder tensed.
I looked at Dina, her eyes boring into mine and then with my side eye, I caught onto the owner of the voice.
Oh goodness, I so wasn't ready to face Kat.
I felt like if anyone asked me about last night, I'd rat myself out because it was so damn difficult to deny that something nice didn't happen.
I got an orgasm.
A nerve shattering one at that.
Nah, I couldn't lie like that.
But saying the truth will also get me killed and was I willing to take that risk?
Meh, I don't know.
"I'm talking to you, look at me!" Kat cried frustratedly.
Slowly, I turned to face her. My shoulder dropped when my eyes met the commotion
Kat was pestering Alessandro to spare her a glance.
"I don't owe you any fucking explanation." Alessandro hissed, glaring at her.
He hadn't noticed me yet. His eyes burned with fury. I wondered how she was still standing close to him when he had such murderous look.
The only time he had such murderous look around me was when I interacted with other men.
He took exclusivity to another level. The Don's Pet indeed.
"We're going to get married soon. I should know -"
"Who I am with and who I fuck?" He scoffed, cutting her off. "I am not obligated to share such information with you."
He walked away, only to turn back again to her. "And also, even if we were married, I don't fucking owe you 100% loyalty. I'd still fuck outside if I want." He spat. "I thought you'd know that, Mafia Princess."
Mafia Princess.
Was that a title.
Well, if it was then Alessandro didn't call it as such. It sounded like he was mocking her.
"You're disgusting. Some Mafia men respect their women a lot not to fuck outside!" She yelled
Only to get snatched by the throat, his eyes deadly - empty.
"I am not some Mafia men. I am Don Alessandro and I don't fucking move like others." He growled. "Where others are nice and sweet, I am bitter and ruthless."
Somehow, whatever he said to her hit me in the chest.
Like he was speaking to my soul. Setting things straight.
"I don't dwell on just a woman. I am not a one lady's man."
My heart cracked open, his words being the reason behind that. I inhaled sharply, getting his attention - unfortunately.
His eyes darkened as he stared right into my eyes, trying to read my emotions.
Prying deep.
"I hope I have made myself clear." He let go of Kat, his eyes never leaving mine. Then he snapped, making me flinch. "Don't you have anything to do?"
"Sorry." I spun around, looking at Dina.
I listened to his heavy steps drift away. My heart sank, drowning down the deep ocean.
He had made himself clear to me - verbally and logically. But nerve-wise? If that was a thing - then he needed to do more than words.
My body still yearned for his touch. I craved to see him lose control under my touch. I wanted to hear him moan my name and cum to that effect.
Maybe after that, we'd be even.
And probably, I'd quench this feeling - that felt insatiable -
Deep down.
"I don't think I can get married to such a man who can't keep his cock in his pants!" Kat yelled over the phone
As I helped Dina clear the dishes and dry clean the plates, I couldn't help but eavesdrop into her conversation.
I felt bad for her. Didn't we all want to be married for love? It was really terrible getting married to a man who couldn't love and who wouldn't value you.
"What are you saying? Since I came here, he hasn't touched me!" She yelled exasperatedly. When she snapped her eyes to my direction, I diverted them immediately.
He had touched me.
A small part of me felt guilty for that while a large part of me felt happy that he chose to please me over her.
He must dislike her so much to choose me over her.
"You!" She suddenly appeared in my front, standing opposite me with the counter in our middle. "What happened in Florida?"
"Flo...Florida?"
"Don't fucking act dumb with me. You finally fucked him right? You lost your fake virginity to him right? You're the one he's entertaining." She barked, throwing accusations on my head.
"Was that what he said?" I spoke up before Dina could. I caught her angry stare from the corner of my eyes and I didn't want her to speak on my behalf.
She always did.
"Of course he wouldn't tell me"
"So, it's just mere speculations without any evidence whatsoever?" I focused my gaze on the glass I was cleaning.
"Why can't you just leave? Leave him alone!" She screamed like a spoiled brat - that she was.
Obviously.
"But I'm not holding him." I raised my eyes up to meet hers. "He's your betrothed, remember?"
"Exactly. So even if you entertain him, he'd fall back to me. He'd always choose me."
Now, that made a snicker escape my lips.
My mouth was going to put me in deep shit.
"Why....why are you laughing? Are you mocking me?" Kat eyed me, her nose red from anger.
"I am in no place to mock you. It was a slip of the navals." I forced a frown on my lips, bowing dramatically. "Apologies, Mrs. Bianchi."
I gasped, placing my hand on my mouth. "Oops! Not yet."
She launched forward, to drag my hair. Before I could get all defensive and all that, a hand held hers, stopping her halfway.
She struggled to her grip out of his but it was too firm.
"Now, now, didn't your parents teach you not to lay your fingers on what didn't belong to you?" He said calmly, bringing her hand down
His eyes weren't dark or anything. He didn't even seem fazed.
"This isn't over, Madison." She pointed at me, warningly.
I couldn't peel my eyes off the charming young man in front of me, standing tall with his wood brown eyes compensating his diamond sculptured face. His perfume smelled rich, matching his shiny outfit.
"Nikolai DeMarco." He stretched his hand. "Your new owner." His face serious.
I stared at him blankly. The words registered slowly.
My new what?
