Chapter 16 Claim me
Madison's POV
If I didn't have a clear identity in this house before, I did now.
I was an official housemaid for Kat. She ordered me around whenever she wanted and sometimes i knew it was to piss me off.
Alessandro didn't bat an eyelash nor intercede on my behalf one bit - not like I expected him. He would only glance and look away. Just like he did that day I was slapped.
A day I couldn't quite seem to get off my head.
My mission was in a day time and I had avoided to go over to him to practice any shit. I had watched the videos he sent nonchalantly.
Though I didn't understand why I had to learn how to erect a cock with my hand for my mission and that gave me the scare.
I jumped up when my door flew wide open. "Ghost!" I screamed, impulsively throwing a pillow at him.
"You... You are alive?"
I couldn't believe my eyes as I stared at the guard I thought we killed.
"A gunshot on the shoulder, doesn't kill a person." He explained, his lips lifted up in a small smirk.
"I... I am sorry. I didn't... I didn't mean to -"
My eyes were all teary as I remembered how he begged and screamed in pain when Alessandro tortured him.
"That's okay" He said, cutting me off. "Now, I don't want to be in deep shit."
"Alessandro didn't kill you" I smiled, placing my hand on my chest. "Oh my goodness!"
So why didn't he tell me he didn't kill him? Oh that man.
"I .. I am sorry about what I said to you?" He scratched the back of his head
I looked at him weirdly. Was that supposed to be a question?
"I'm apologizing." He clarified, frowning.
"Mafia men really finds it hard to apologize, ai?" I chuckled softly, looking at my thigh.
"I'm Jero. I'm in charge of you." He explained. "In as much as I wouldn't want to be" He muttered under his breath but I heard him
"I don't need a guard" I eyed him carefully. "Will you save me from Claudia and Kat's wrath? I feel like those people are after my life." He shook his head saying 'no', "Exactly my point"
He carefully picked my hand, pulling me up. "I have to keep you safe though from external harm since your previous bodyguard died." My mouth fell open at the information. I didn't even know about that but I heard people died from the in-house attack that day.
"And now, I have to get you somewhere." He spoke again, pulling me with him. I yelped, following him regardless.
"Can I know where we're going at least? My body feels so sore and I'd rather sleep until Kat comes back from visiting her parents than - what is this place?" I looked at the creepy dark room that smelled of leather and smoke. He left my hand, turning on the light.
"Just wait here." With that, he left me there, shutting the door behind him.
"Wait! Open the door!" I banged my fist on the door.
"You're being fucking noisy." A voice growled, making me stop. "Step away from the door and come over here."
Slowly, I turned my eyes settling on Alessandro who seemed to have appeared from God knows where, sitting on a sofa chair. Smoke puffed out of his mouth as he spoke.
I scrunched my nose up in disgust, taking slow steps towards him, reluctantly.
"You seem to have forgotten our deal." He slipped his hand into his pocket, while his other hand put off the cigarette. "I have been quiet enough. I have waited enough. But I'm done waiting."
Deciding to keep a good amount of space between us, I stood far away from him. "What could you be talking about, Don?"
He scoffed, placing a white sweet on his tongue, it's strong minty scent evading my nostrils. His eyes dragged up my body and in nanosecond, he jumped up from the chair like a predator who was learning how to prey for the first time, not wanting to miss such opportunity. He launched forward, his hands on my neck as he pushed me to the wall, my back landing softly on it.
"Don't fucking make me look stupid, Maddie?" His breath had a mix of mint and smoke.
I found it hard to swallow my breath as his grip restricted my throat movement.
"I thought my duty would be delegated to someone else since you seem to have a new pet." I glared at him, my tone rough.
His lips lifted into a loop sided smirk. His face moved closer until they were buried in my neck. He took a long inhale, making my heartbeat seize.
I didn't want him close to me but when his face sank deep in my neck, inhaling sharply, I had forgotten what I was thinking.
Hell, I could barely think properly.
I clenched my hand, restricting them from touching him.
"You think I'd replace you?" His voice was low. A soft gasp escaped my lips when his wet lips pressed on my collarbone. "Then you must fucking be delusional to have such thought."
"What if... What if I want you to?" I said breathlessly, clutching his shirt.
"To do what?" He trailed his nose up the side of my neck, planting a soft kiss on the spot under my earlobe, sucking on it lightly.
My clutch on his shirt got stronger as I panted, my body heating up. "Aless... I.."
"Cat got your tongue, baby girl?" He mocked.
It was now or never. So I forced the words out of my mouth.
"I want you to let me go."
He pulled his head back harshly, his eyes darkened as he stared into my eyes, his grip on my neck tightened.
"You." He shut his eyes, his jaw clenching and unclenching. Then he opened his eyes again, the storm in them had reduced. "You want me to let you go?"
"Y-yes." I stood my ground. You never know if you don't try.
This life I was living wasn't a life at all. I was tired of being thrown back and forth like a ragdoll.
His grip on my neck loosened, only for his hand to curl around my hair, bringing my face closer to his.
"You'd be putting the whole fucking world at risk, Raven" He slurred, his lips hovered over mine as he stared down at them. "Because I'd fucking burn it down when I don't see you by my side."
A shuddered breath escaped my lips, followed by my lips parting a bit. "But you don't need me."
"Because I already have you." His grip on my hair loosened a bit, his other hand pulling me into him by my waist. "And you dare not run, Raven because I'd find you and I'd fucking punish you for it. Over and over again."
He placed his forehead on mine, his lips brushing against mine, softly. His grip on my waist tightened, like he was fighting to stay in control.
Our chest heaved up and down rhythmically, our lips twitching against each others. It was an internal wrestle.
His hands cupped my cheek, holding my face still as he pushed his face back, leaving a small space between us.
"I know you don't fit this world but I'd rather have it like this than let you go to a new master." He stared into my eyes. "Not when I haven't even started with you."
I tugged on his shirt, pulling him into me as I placed my hand on his hard-on that had been rubbing on me. A shuddered breath left his lips, his pupils dilated.
"Then claim me, Don."
