Chapter 52 feed you to my crocodiles

Chapter 52 feed you to my crocodiles
Erin's POV
Dad's hand holding the phone trembled violently, his face instantly draining from smugness to deathly pale.

His voice became shrill and distorted as he screamed into the phone.

"How is that possible! They really canceled all cooperation with us? All of them?"

Whatever was said on the other end made Dad's phone crash to the ground with a "thud."

He staggered back two steps.

Hilda sensed something was wrong and quickly stepped forward to support Dad, her voice carrying unease.

"What happened? What canceled cooperation?"

Gloria also became anxious. "Dad, is there a problem with the company?"

Dad seemed drained of all strength, mumbling. "The company just called. All our partners have notified us of canceled cooperation one after another. The entire company is basically paralyzed now!"

Hearing Dad's words, I felt a surge of satisfaction.

An expected result. They brought this on themselves! Who told them to look down on Kingsley!

Dad suddenly raised his head, his bloodshot eyes staring at Kingsley, arrogance mixed with terror.

"Did you do this? Who exactly are you? Why can you make those partners cancel cooperation with us!"

His voice grew louder and louder, almost shouting at the end, but the trembling tail betrayed his fear.

Kingsley's mockery was undisguised as his gaze swept over the three of them.

"Who am I? You don't deserve to know."

"How dare you talk to us like that!" Gloria suddenly jumped out, pointing at Kingsley's nose angrily.

"You're just an equestrian club owner. Do you really think you're somebody?"

She still held herself high as the Perez family princess, extremely arrogant.

"Shut up!" Dad suddenly shouted sternly at Gloria.

He glared at Gloria fiercely.

Gloria was startled and wanted to speak, but seeing Dad's expression, she closed her mouth, her face extremely ugly.

Dad turned to look at me, his face hiding disgust while putting on a fatherly tone.

"Erin, we're all family. Let's talk nicely. The family going bankrupt won't benefit you either. Hurry up and plead for us!"

When he said "plead" at the end, he gritted his teeth, almost growling.

Looking at him like this, my stomach churned.

I knew he wasn't suddenly treating me as his daughter, but because he was scared.

"I don't have any shares in the family company. What does bankruptcy have to do with me?"

Originally, when I turned eighteen, according to family rules I should have received 3% of the shares, but Gloria framed me for pushing her down the stairs that day, so Dad "compensated" Gloria with the shares that should have been mine.

Dad obviously remembered this too, his face very ugly.

"Sister, if you want shares I'll give you all of mine, but please help Dad. The company is his life's work." Gloria started playing the good daughter again.

"Look how sensible your sister is. You're too cold-blooded! I raised you this big, and this is how you treat your own father?" Dad angrily pointed at my nose and scolded.

"If you think Gloria is so good, let Gloria help you save the company. Anyway, I'm a cold-blooded woman. I won't help you!" I said firmly.

I would never foolishly give again just to get a few words of praise from Dad.

My defiance made Dad very angry. He raised his arm to slap me again.

Unfortunately, before his slap could land, his wrist was firmly gripped by Kingsley in mid-air.

Dad's face instantly flushed red.

Perhaps Kingsley's grip was too strong, as painful groans escaped his mouth.

Kingsley pulled out a gun and pressed it against Dad's head, his tone ice-cold.

"Dare to hit Erin one more time, and I'll chop up all three of you right now and feed you to my crocodiles."

Kingsley's words were like a heavy hammer, instantly shattering Dad's last pretense.

His face lost all color in an instant.

Watching Dad's expression, I guessed he now recognized Kingsley's ruthless methods and understood he was someone who meant what he said!

Dad's knees went weak and he almost knelt on the ground, beginning to beg.

"I was wrong, sorry sorry, please spare us!"

All the arrogance and smugness disappeared, leaving only humility and fear.

Seeing Dad so humble, my feelings were complicated. Dad finally knew he was wrong. But he was still my father, and I still felt sad and hurt.

"Now you know to be afraid? If you had known your mistakes earlier and treated Erin better, things wouldn't have come to this."

Kingsley released Dad's wrist.

Dad immediately collapsed to the ground, his face deathly pale.

"Everything I did was because of your good daughter Gloria! If she hadn't done wrong, you wouldn't have ended up like this!"

Hearing this, Dad immediately rushed up angrily and slapped Gloria.

"You idiot! You've doomed the whole family!"

Gloria covered her face, looking at Dad grievously, but didn't dare retort.

"Look, I've already punished Gloria. Please spare my company." Dad begged Kingsley.

"Erin, feeding them to crocodiles or sparing them, it's up to you." Kingsley put the decision in my hands.

I knew Kingsley was trying to elevate my status in the Perez family.

He really considered everything for me.

Gloria glared at me angrily, obviously unconvinced.

I smiled. Since she still wouldn't learn, I'd teach her what it meant to bow down!

"Sparing you is possible, Dad. As long as you slap Gloria twenty times hard in front of us, you won't have to be chopped up and fed to crocodiles."

Gloria's face changed drastically.

"Why should I? Erin, you bitch!"

She screamed, then turned to Dad urgently.

"Dad! Erin is deliberately stirring up trouble!"

Before she could finish, Dad's slap landed directly on her face.

Gloria's head snapped to the side, blood immediately seeping from the corner of her mouth.

I laughed mercilessly.

Gloria's POV:

I never thought Dad would actually hit me.

Especially with that bitch Erin actually laughing at me!

"Lorenzo, Gloria is our daughter! Stop hitting her!"

Mom panicked, rushing over with tears to protect me, but Dad pushed her away.

Dad's face was full of twisted fear as he pointed at me and roared.

"Shut up! She caused all this trouble! If I don't hit her, we'll all be fed to crocodiles!"

It's all Erin!

She's the one making Dad hit me!

It was always Erin who got beaten before. Today I'm being slapped by Dad in front of her.

Everything I'd carefully built was overshadowed by her. This feeling was worse than killing me!

"Dad, I was wrong... please stop hitting me..."

I cried and begged, tears mixed with blood from my mouth sliding down, but hatred was growing wildly in my heart.

Mom cried heartbreakingly beside us but didn't dare intervene again.

Dad's slaps fell on my face one after another, each one forceful, making me dizzy. My cheeks quickly swelled like a pig's head.
