Chapter 25 Shock II
Good evening ladies!”, the target said as he got to where they sat by the bar, his attention immediately going to Isabella.
His eyes scanning Isabella's exposed cleavage, Luciano's jaw ticked from the position he stood behind Andreas.
“Can I interest you in a drink?!”, The man asked as Mia immediately took the cue.
She breathed in a sigh of relief as she approached the back door.
Her job there was done.
Isabella's heart skipped a beat for what was about to happen.
“Yes you can!”, Isabella said as she had already noticed how disgustingly the man kept looking towards her breasts.
However, for the sake of the mission, she endured, a flirty smile on her face as she pushed her chest out.
Hating every moment of it, the man engaged her in conversation when Isabella heard from Andreas.
“Good work Isabella! Now whatever you do, maintain the position you're sitting in. Don't move a single muscle!”
Touching her neck to give a sign to Andreas watching in the camera that she acknowledged what he said.
Seeing this, Andreas quickly changed the receiver of the transmitter, “now!”
The guard who handled the sniper immediately spotted the man who stood beside Isabella, pulling the trigger.
The bullet was directed towards the man’s head, a sure fire collision approved.

Isabella, who had expected that the highest the men would do would be to storm in and take the man had no idea that Luciano had planned to take a more direct method.
“You know I really admire…!”, the man drawled as his head was suddenly blown off.
The crimson red liquid splashed all over her face, it splashed on her dress, the man's suit, the glass of drink in her hand, the bar table and on the floor.
Isabella jumped at the collision.
Literally in shock with her eyes closed as the man’s lifeless body dropped to the floor.
“Alright Isabella, men would come in to clean this up now! You can leave! The car’s waiting for you outside!”, Andreas said as men entered the building to basically confirm the shot.
However, as the men packed up, ready to move, Luciano turned to see Isabella still seated with the blood on her face.
The lady in question had never had such an experience. It was too shocking to see someone die in front of her.
“What's going on?!”, Luciano asked, confused to see Isabella still seated.
“I'm talking to her through the transmitter sir, yet she hasn't budged!”, Andreas answered.
“Get Mia in there with a paper towel!”, Luciano ordered.
Soon enough, Mia came back through the back door, paper towel in her hand.
By now, Isabella no longer looked in the same particular position where the man’s head used to be as he stood.
She looked at the man’s body on the floor, his head already dismembered from the body.
Unintentionally, her brain took a mental picture…
One clear enough to haunt her for days.
Still seated, Isabella saw the men cleaning up the body, the liquid splattered on her body already starting to dry.
By the time Mia got the paper towel and headed inside the building, she saw Isabella still sitted by the bar, except the body was already moved.
“Isabella!”, Mia called out.
“Isabella!!”, Mia called out again as she got close enough to shake her.
“Are you okay!?”, Mia asked as she used the paper towel to clean the blood on Isabella's face and body.
“Why aren't you saying anything Isabella, were you shot?!”, Mia asked, her voice still not turned off in the makeshift control room.
Hearing this, Luciano zoomed in with the camera watching the bar.
The knot on his forehead smoothened as soon as Isabella shook her head slightly, indicating she hadn't been shot.
“Mia, you need to get out of there !”Andreas reminded as the cops were now getting closer.
“Come on Isabella! We need to get going!”, Mia said, hearing what Andreas had said.
Seeing that Isabella wouldn't budge, she helped her off of the seat she occupied, dragging her towards the back door, careful so she wouldn't trip In her heels.
The man who stood outside of the vehicle waiting for them quickly helped Mia as she struggled with getting Isabella to walk.
By carrying her, they left the place faster, Both ladies occupying the back seat as they headed back to the mansion.
Their work was done for the night, thus, the men would finish up.
Isabella's eyes looked vacant as Mia helped her to clean the stain of blood on her face.
“Isabella!”, Mia called out.
Isabella turned to her, her eyes full to the brim with tears.
“Are you okay?!”, Mia asked as Isabella shook her head.
“I was so scared!”, Isabella said as she hugged Mia.
“It's okay Isabella! It's over now! You don't need to stay there any longer, that's why we're leaving!”, Mia said as she wrapped her in a hug.
The plan had been followed religiously, with her leaving as Isabella had caught his attention.
She came back, completely meeting an opposite in Isabella's demeanor, she was downcast, thus, she helped Isabella out of the building.
It surely must have been horrific to have such an experience.
Who would want to have someone's literal head blow up in their face?
As a result, Isabella had reacted to the shock by keeping quiet.
Her brain kept telling her body parts to move, to remember the plan, however, the shock, and the result of the endeavor traumatized said parts, thus she wasn't able to run.
Luciano stared at the seat Isabella had occupied minutes before.
Of course, the whole thing unfazed The Don, but for an innocent lady like Isabella, the man’s head blowing up right in her face would traumatize her.

Luciano came out of his inner room, not surprised to see Isabella standing across his dining table with her head bowed.
She had changed, her makeup wiped away from her face, now clad in her uniform.
Isabella looked completely different from how she did earlier that day.
Hearing that he entered the room, Luciano was surprised to see that she raised her head without him ordering her.
She looked him in the eye, something she'd never done so directly since she started staying in the mansion.
“My father's debt sir…
How much did my performance take out of it!?”
