Chapter 24 Shock
Sitting on the chair as she watched her make up get done, Isabella recalled the quick drill that was conducted for her and Mia, just to know the situation and how they came in.
They were going to enter the event with their appearance and demeanor demonstrating they were single and ready to mingle.
This was because the target was unmarried. Intel gathered he would appear single and would typically pick out someone to spend the night with, or next morning with.
‘Her job was simple!’, Isabella thought as she wondered just how much Luciano would take off from her father's debt.
As Mia and Isabella got glammed up, Madam Paula and Rosa picked out beautiful and functional outfits for the ladies with very eye-catching colors.
The dress had to be beautiful… sure, but could it hide a listening device?!
That was the criteria to be met for the dresses both ladies were to wear that evening.
While they got ready, the house remained busy as several men were present in order to make sure the mission went well.
Getting a signal that the ladies were ready, the cars started getting filled up, some of them leaving beforehand to set up near the venue.
Still unsure with the females who had gotten a quick drill, Andreas said, “I don't know how these ladies are going to pull this off!”
“They have the right motivation!”, Luciano said as he inserted bullets in his gun.
Mia was promised an increase in her salary, and Isabella, Luciano had offered to take off a specific amount off of her father's debt
“I just hope they…!”, Andreas' words drowned in Luciano's ear as he looked up, what he saw nearly taking his breath away.
He saw both ladies come out of the mansion in very unusual clothes than what they normally wore.
The pair wearing a gold and a red dress managed to get the mansion quiet for a bit as everyone stopped to admire how beautiful the ladies were.
They soon resumed what they were doing as they didn't want the boss to notice they weren't working.
However, the boss in question looked rather stunned at the very figure his eyes were focused on.
Both women were undeniably beautiful! Mia was clad in a gold gown, her hair done beautifully well as her makeup emphasized her beautiful facial features.
Isabella on the other hand looked rather ravishing with her hair done beautifully in a messy bun as she donned the red gown with a low cut.
Luciano literally scanned her, taking in the emphasis the gold jewelry did to her skin tone and the color of her dress as well.
“This might work after all!”, Andreas thought as he continued tapping away on the tablet.
“Pretty!”, Luciano said to himself as he continued what he was doing.
He could have said more, but it was his way of trying to get himself to believe he wasn't moved by the lady in the red gown.
Shaking his head, Luciano remembered they were on a mission, thus, he needed to focus on the task at hand.
The ladies in question had been reminded of what they were supposed to do again, a picture of the target being shown to them, just in case any one of them caught his attention.
Thus, they stepped out of the house, taking careful steps towards the vehicle they were supposed to ride in.
Because of the severity of the mission and how urgent they had to bring in the ladies, he had not thought of the fact that Isabella was sedated the first time she was brought to the mansion, and she never left.
It was one of the many things Isabella looked forward to after she was drilled on the mission.
Meeting new people, and seeing the road that led outside of the mansion.
Throughout the ride, Isabella looked at the scenery by the side of the road.
“Beautiful!”, she thought. It had made her smile for a brief moment as she just sat there admiring.
She had no idea that the rides out of the mansion was the only opportunity she was going to ever have until she found some sort of way to leave.

Luciano called the car they were in as they alone went towards the event while the other vehicles stayed around the vicinity to prepare for their roles.
The guard in front who wasn't driving suddenly passed a phone to them after its ringing disrupted the silence.
Luciano walked towards the makeshift control room as he called them.
“I hope you remember where you come in ladies!?”, Luciano asked one last time before they got there.
“Yes Don!”, both ladies answered.
“You're about three minutes out! Get ready, you'll be there soon!”, Luciano said, cutting the call.
Hearing this, the girls took deep breaths, immediately getting into character.
Bringing out the invitations, their real names sat beautifully there.
In the Mafia world, the ladies had no history, thus, it was easy for Luciano's team to give them a beautiful background which wouldn't arouse any questions.
The vehicle came to a halt in front of the hall, one of the men in the front coming down to open the door for them as he helped them out.
Watching from the security cameras they hacked, Luciano’s green eyes zeroed in on Isabella's beauty more than he'd like, quickly shaking his head, he switched to another camera that zeroed in on the target.
“The target is in the building ladies, head straight towards the bar!”, one of the men from the makeshift control panels said to the ladies through the device they were wearing.
Acting so natural like they hadn't been ordered to go there, Isabella and Mia headed to the bar, their appearance and beauty gathering the attention it was supposed to, the target included.
“Who are those ladies, especially the one in red?!”, The target asked one of his men
“We don't know sir, but we'll go find out immediately!” , the guard said.
“Do that quickly!”, The man said as the guard rushed off.

“Good job ladies, keep acting natural, we have his attention!”, Andreas urged both ladies.
Mentally commending the ladies for their efforts, Luciano was rather stunned to see that both ladies acted so well.
“We only need a split second!”, Andreas continued as the ladies continued their conversation.
Changing the receiver of the transmission, Andreas turned to the sniper team.
“What's the situation?!”
“In position!”, they answered.
“Good, stand by!”, Andreas replied as he watched the target stand up and head towards the ladies.
