Chapter 125 The Truth
Her status had immediately been changed within the mansion, all because Luciano said so.
The rest of the staff had questions, but of course, no one would risk having their head decapitated.
No one would actually really know what transpired between the both of them if they didn't say a word.
However nice the treatment was, it still wouldn't erase the fact that Luciano Ra her.

"There's something you need to know!", Luciano said to Isabella as they watched Sophia chase butterflies in the yard behind the mansion.
Luciano had come back to Milan that morning, following 'the business that he took care of', and he was about to annoy Isabella to the core.
"What's that?!", Isabella wondered as her mind raced with numerous possibilities.
'Is this about my parents?
Or Celia!?', Isabella asked within herself.
"It's about your parents!", Luciano finally said as he paused, confirming her suspicions.
"What about them?!", She asked, turning to face him properly.
She initially thought he had devastating news.
"I had lied to them multiple times, I threatened them, and I kept you from them!", Luciano said, staring directly at Isabella.
He didn't know how else to tell the truth.
"What do you mean lie?!
Did you tell them I was dead?!", Isabella asked, keeping her tone at bay.
She wasn't sure if the love he had for her could save her head.
"Why aren't you saying anything?!", Isabella asked again, already overthinking the situation.
"I didn't tell them you were dead...
I just told them what they needed to know!", Luciano answered calmly.
"So you told them I was dead?
And what about the debt?
Did they ever pay it back?
Are they still owing you?
Wait!
Was that why!?
Was that why you?!", Isabella asked, raising her tone progressively as she stood up and demanded answers.
Luciano continued to watch her calmly, wondering where to start from.
He knew he had wronged her deeply.
"I really don't know which to answer first!", Luciano said, looking conflicted.
"Are they owing you!?", Isabella repeated.
"No, they have completed their payment for a while now!", Luciano answered honestly, not very proud he had lied to her at that moment in time.
"How long?!", Isabella asked to clarify, something to calm her overthinking.
"Around the time you left!", Luciano answered.
Gently shaking her head, Isabella cleaned the tears that formed.
'if...
He...!', she thought as she started to connect the dots.
The tears that had formed from the lies she had built her short new life upon.
'I thought...!', her thoughts couldn't even be completed as she took several steps away from Luciano.
Then, she heard babbling.
Thus, Isabella turned to the one person that made sense in the life she had found herself in.
Sophia.
She grabbed her baby and headed towards the mansion and up to her room.
She didn't look back for a second.
The moment she got to her room, Isabella immediately shut the door as she packed some things.
Something for herself and her baby.
When she was done, she went to meet Andreas to provide a car to her parents house back in Tuscany.
She didn't think she would be going back to Luciano's mansion.
~~
It was all too fast for the little girl in Isabella's arms.
One minute she was chasing butterflies, and the next, she was feeling her mother's heartbeat race more than usual.
Her mother was crying gently as they were being driven to Tuscany.
She couldn't wait to leave the mansion, to leave the lies and to leave the painful memories.
'I can't believe I felt something for him!', Isabella thought as she thought of everything.
'He knew...
The whole time he knew!
Yet he kept me without my will
And then he did as he pleased!
Now, he opens his mouth and says he loves me', Isabella thought.
Albeit her feelings, she suppressed her feelings as she didn't want her daughter to see her cry.
'If only he didn't look for me!
I would still be living freely!' Isabella thought.
Indeed, now that she had learned of the truth, matters had been complicated as Luciano's image had been ruined in Isabella's eyes.
\~~~
"Why did she leave?!", Andreas asked as he stepped into the bunker space.
He had been searching all over for Luciano as Isabella abruptly left.
He was even more upset as he saw the man typing away on his laptop.
Like he wasn't bothered at all.
Afterall, Isabella wasn't leaving to see her parents till the next day.
"Did you provide security details?!", Luciano calmly asked, unfazed by Andreas' outburst.
"Yes, but...
Are you aware that she was in tears?!", Andreas asked back.
He watched as Luciano sighed before aggressively throwing his laptop on the nearest table.
He brought his head to his lap, then he waited a few seconds before raising his head.
"I told her the truth!", Luciano admitted, slightly rejecting his decisions towards her parents before he fell for her.
Understanding the gravity of the situation, Andreas simply stayed quiet.
Luciano sighed before he continued, "escort them!
I'll trust they're fine with you around!"
Andreas immediately turned and climbed out of the bunker.
He knew it was hard for Luciano.
\~~~
Since Luciano had said nothing about stalking Celia, Isabella had created a fake account for staking Celia's socials.
That was the person she wanted to talk to the most, however, the situation didn't allow it.
Her screen being evident to Sophia, Isabella teared up slightly as she heard her baby call Celia the usual name she called her.
All that peace she had left for Sophia's protection.
'It was too late to back out now!', she thought.
She was going to hold on to her symbol of hope, Sophia.
Time and again, Sophia would always be there for her.
Now, she was going to be with her family.
The family that had suffered in Luciano's arms.
She especially looked forward to seeing her mother again.
Except, she wasn't going to be getting the best welcome.
