Chapter 143 Teach manners
Ravyen's POV
She almost threw the knife at me if Naty haven't held her back.
"This is so inappropriate!" Her husband snapped as he strokes the back of Micheal.
"Then teach your kids some manners, miller might become a serial killer tomorrow"
"Ravyen!" Naty scrowl as she was fussing at me and I acted blind to the expression on her face.
"You're so annoying" Miller muses and I rolled my eyes, wishing to leave them.
"Say that to Naty, she literally abducted me and I'm still gonna file a lawsuit" I pointed out and it seems everyone was tensed in this table.
"She was trying to help" Miller defends as I tried to digest that line. The only help she could render was running away with someone's wealth.
"I can't believe he's the one mom praised" Mira gruesomely responded, rose up and went to her room.
These kids need to be taught manners. They fucking lack respect.
"This is the worst dinner ever!" The coward declares, shoved his father hand away and ran upstairs.
Miller also stepped out and pointed her middle finger at me.
Shit, she's a minor and shouldn't swear at me.
"I think I'm done" her husband snapped and also took his leave.
I was left with naty who seems depressed and shattered by my words.
"They were excited to see you" she began heaving a sigh and scrolling around.
I ignored her words and pitied my roses which Mira shattered.
"My 7 year old drew a picture of you, he keeps chanting your name that he finally has an older brother who would protect"
I'm not some kind of knight, he should muster up courage and fend for himself.
"My 18 year old writes songs and intend to show them to you"
Not miller right? Because all her songs would revolve around murder.
"My 13 year old keeps bragging about his you'd knock out all her bullies"
I thought she has a boyfriend? Can't he do that for her?
"They saw you as their light ravyen, the least you could do is cheer them up" she paused and I fluttered my eyes.
"I was wrong, even though you aren't tough as before, you're emotionless and think only about yourself"
Naty stood up and then breath slowly. I was lost as I tried to recollect all what I've said.
She was right, I should place myself under their shoes and think of how it feels.
"Leave my house by tomorrow" she concluded and left for the stairs.
I was the only one along, not really eaten up by guilt but at least, those annoying kids should have some fun memories of me.
Also, this is the closest I could get to Arianna.
I then thought of what exactly to do. First, I nervously walked up to their doors but these kids shun me like an alien.
No one opened the door. Then I hired a music band, to blast the neighborhood with their noises and instruments.
It made me feel as though I was proposing. Still yet, no one came out. However, I was persistent until Mira popped her head from the window and found me dancing.
I felt weird but I could see her giggle but the grumpy miss miller drew her back inside.
Then I found the coward...I mean Micheal at the balcony dancing and he was cute dancer.
Mira paced slowly to meet me and all she had to say is;
"You're a bad dancer"
I stopped dancing and whispered that she could teach me. Some kids around the neighborhood had joined me to dance like we were family.
She let out a sheepish smile and decided to teach me some dance moves and I felt sick doing that with her, bending to her level and laughing hard as she points my errors.
Then I stopped as the dramatic Miller isn't out yet. My adviser Mira gave me hint on how to call out her sister.
Seriously, it was weirder than I thought and I shouldn't have started anything.
"Miller! My warrior, milady, my heart, my goddess, my all in one, oh please come out!" I scream and I saw her peeping eyes.
Micheal had ran down to meet me, dancing and jumping with his peers. I felt stupid but it was to brighten the mood.
From here, we'd head to the amusement park. I'd rent it all just for them.
I could see Naty and her husband staring from their window which wasn't a bad idea because I want to be believe she wouldn't send me out.
Finally the soldier of the house appears and suddenly told the bands to be quiet because they were disturbing the neighborhood.
Okay? It seems she's always in a bad mood and I have to bear that with her.
The band team stopped. No body wants to be knocked out by a young adult. I had to pay them to leave while Mira and Michael moved to stand beside her.
The kids from earlier disperse like they were some kind of robot following the band team.
"And you, if that's how you act romantic to your lady, then she'd run away" she pointed out with a frown.
Oh wow, these kids would always see flaws in me, like I wasn't trying enough. I growl, folded my fist. Rather cussing at her, I remain quiet with a broad smile.
"So what do you want?" I questioned hating myself for stooping so low.
"A proper dinner" the three kids chorus. The last time I checked, I was only asking Miller.
Well, the least I could do is make a memorable moments for them. I grimanced and then kissed my teeth.
Their demand was easy though.
They'd want the dinner in a classic restaurant. I told them to go change into a cool outfit and then waited outside just to take a glimpse at the rooftop.
That's where Arianna stays. But then I discovered something, a black shadow around her window.
