Mara was in the hospital for a few weeks, Mara was in a coma those weeks. But she woke up, sore as hell. Wondering what was going on, her parents told her what they decided to do with Nadia and that Nadia has been gone for a few weeks ever since Mara was in a coma. 

After a few days Mara was able to leave the hospital and return home. Her parents had a surprise for Mara when they got home. They led her upstairs to show a new bedroom, her own bedroom.

Mara could not be more than excited that she has her own room. Soon after that Mara was downstairs in the living room watching a movie with Ivan and Dimitri. Nikolai and Charlotte were cuddled on the other couch watching the movie with them. 

Even though Mara hurt like hell she still helped her mom with dinner that night. Mara set the table for dinner tonight. 

Soon enough all went to bed. Where Mara had to get back to school, she missed so much. Her parents could her school work brought to the house but no Mara didn't want them to do. 

Mara - 

I have healed up a while ago, only hurt sometimes when it gets cold. It took me basically 2 years to forgive my sister for pushing me down a flight of stairs. 

Mom and dad told me that she went to a boarding school when I was in the hospital, with a relative I have never met. The name of the relative is Olga. However I did accept my sister's apology. Just a few days ago my sister got married to a man that was a lot older than she was. But she can work with that, I believe that marriage was planned from my parents. 

I get dressed for school, making sure the outfit is just right. The thing is I am graduating early from high school, I had more than enough credits to get in college. Dad told me that I have to choose a college that is in Russia for his sake. And I am okay with that, I would like to do something with art studies but dad and Dimitri want me to have a better choice than that. So I will look more into other things. 

Coming out of my room and going downstairs seeing my family, I eat my food and go to the bus stop. Hopping on the bus I see my friends. We talk the whole way to school. School flew by with a breeze, I went home. Walking up the driveway from my home,  saying hi to the guards that had the shift in the front. 

I went to my room to complete my homework. After I finished I went downstairs to help with dinner. I see my dad in the kitchen which threw me for a loop. However I help my dad with dinner and set the table getting everyone to come down for dinner. 

Dinner was amazing. Dad always cooks well, after finishing the dishes I go to my room to look up some colleges that are not just art studies. I found two very good choices I believe would pay off, management studies or health care for the bachelor degree. As I was looking there was a knock at my door, I told them whoever was at the door they could come in. 

Seeing that it was my brother Dimitri. He saw what I was looking at. 

" So management huh?"

" Is it a bad choice?" 

" Not at all Mara, it's actually good because I know one school that could help you if management is the course you would like to take?"

" what do you have in mind".

" Well, the specific school I have in mind could help you get your bachelor degree and get a job as soon as you graduate. So is that what you want to do?"

" I believe so." 

" Alright then. It is settled. You close that down and get to bed, it's late."

" Goodnight Dimitri". 

" Goodnight Mara". 

Dimitri told Nikolai what Mara wanted to do and Nikolai was very happy that Mara chose a management course for college. Mara did get into college for her bachelor degree for management studies. Mara graduated from college and like her brother said she got a job on her very first day. When she got the call Mara jumped out of bed and raced to get dressed. 

Mara did not even think she would work for her brother. When she saw him, she curved her smile and her judgments for later. Mara ended up becoming Dimitri's PA for a while until Dimitri and Nikolai made a match, a marriage match with Mara and a mafia boss over New York. Aiden, the boss of New York and other territories, is finally getting a bride of his choice. When Aiden saw the picture of Mara, a Russian mafia princess with ties of Italy, he could put her photo down. Aiden agreed on the marriage match. 

Mara worked for her brother for a short time until her family told her about the marriage. Mara did not want to leave her life but she did, she had too for the sake of alliances that were made. 

Mara went on in her new life like the women before her. Dimitri and Ivan took over after Nikolai stepped down from power. Everything kept going on, moving forward. Family members passed on and new ones were born. Alliances made for peace, less fighting, but there was still enough blood spilled.
