Chapter 66: Liam meeting Riya

Sophia, Williams, Ryan, and Bree looked quietly at the fallen rail that attracted them but all they saw was it lying on the floor as the rain beat it while Sophia kept looking around, there was nobody in view meaning there was no victim.

' That moron! ', she groaned in her mind, ' I told him to cut it slightly ', she walked back with others angrily.

" Come to think of it, where Liam and Amelia",

" Maybe somewhere pulling each other's pants", Williams jokes,

" Stop taking everything as a joke", Ryan eyed him,

" He's too stupid to be serious",

" Seriously where are they?",

" Somewhere kissing?",

" Heyy!!", Ryan and Williams yelled at him at the same time.

Liam and Amelia on the other hand were were few steps away from them in the bedroom.

" So...?", Amelia asked nervously,

" We should do something about your wings, it's getting brighter, and only a few seconds more before they come in here due to the shiny light",

" I don't know what to do about it",

" Let's dry you up first you are wet", he said and headed over to the bathroom, she tried to follow him in but couldn't enter because of the giant wings.

" Stay put, I'll get the towel", Liam said and went to get the towel. He came back and made sure Amelia felt secure and comfortable enough before he started drying her up including her wings but even after she changed clothes the wings still did not go back in.

Ryan and the others were still talking in the sitting room when they saw Liam coming out of the door,

" You've been inside all this while?", Ryan asked in surprise,

" Well, yeah", he said and quietly sat by Williams, " let me guess", he said referring to Bree, " You're Amelia's friend",

" Yes, it's nice meeting you", she said with a bow,

" No need to use honorifics you're our friend now", Williams said before Liam could reply to her.

" Where's Amelia?", Ryan asked,

" Sleeping",

" What?!", Sophia exclaimed, " You mean you've been inside the room with her all this while?".

Williams laughed out loud, " I said it, didn't I?",

" She's cold, so I'm keeping her warm",

" If you don't get it, forget about it", Williams added and laughed again.

Sophia was so angry and jealous, " She's not a baby",

" To me she is",

" I thought you said she meant nothing to you", Ryan said glaring at Liam,

" the word ' said ' is past tense and the rain has cool down now, she needs absolute rest", he said and began to dismiss them. Bree was glad to see that Liam liked Amelia knowing how Amelia felt towards him likewise Williams was very happy to see this new side of Liam, it was unbelievable but he loved it Ryan wasn't totally happy and Sophia was boiling seriously.

Amelia wished Liam's plan worked out so that their friends would leave before her wings got brighter, no matter how much they tried they wouldn't budge or go back inside so she could only stand behind the door, eavesdropping and hoping they left.

They finally arrived, sitting exhausted in the strange alley on the wet floor. Lora was lying nearly lifeless on the floor with few bruises on her body and her wings were nowhere in the site. Beside her is Isabella, looking just as weak as Lora but covered in no bruises her wings were gone also but her skimpy skirt and a purple top were still on her. A bit far from them was Rafal kneeing on the ground as he tried to steady his breathe, his wings were gone also but he was looking just a little bit weak. He stood up in his long black robe and packed his hair in a ponytail shape before approaching the lying ladies, he placed his hand behind him, looked away from them, and scanned through the alley. A smile appeared on his face,

" I'm on Earth", he said and laughed, " I'm really here, the humans are in trouble, congratulations to you all, for having Lucifer's son in your midst", he said that out and laughed hysterically. After he was calm, he woke the two ladies up and down and watched them struggle to be on their feet.

" Where are we?", Lora asked,

" On Earth, we are in the human's world", Rafal replied still smiling.

A feeling of excitement crept through Lora as she looked around, " Really?", she asked smiling,

" Yes, princess".

When he called her princess she seemed to regain her senses,

" You'll be gravely punished for kidnapping a princess".

Rafal laughed at how ridiculous she sounded,

" by who please?",

" by my father",

" and how",

" the divinity will surely come after you",

"When?", he asked as if he was truly curious but Lora could not answer when she sensed that he was mocking her, and when she didn't give an answer he laughed again.

" Seriously Princess, are you still trying to convince yourself that you were forcefully taken?",

" I was",

" So you are saying now that, you don't want to be here?",

" No",

" You are being honest about not wanting to be here? with the humans?", he asked staring deep into her and she couldn't reply.

" Guess cat has caught the tongue of our princess", he said and giggled, " So are you ready to join me in this adventure of ours?", he extended a handshake with her,

" Not an adventure", she eyed him and leaped away to nowhere in particular.

" I'm here for you Amelia, wait for me". Rafal whispered to himself before following Lora along with Isabella beside him.

Amelia was back inside the sitting room with Liam trying to figure out what to do with the wings when she remembered Riya's bell.

" what are you doing?", Liam asked when he saw her holding out the small bell,

" I want to call on someone?",

" huh? you mean you want to call on another angel with that bell?",

" Not an angel, a grim reaper",

" A what?",

" A grim reaper", she said, and before Liam could say another thing she rang the bell and Riya appeared in front of them,

" Seriously Princess, always give a warning", she grumbled unaware of Liam's presence.

Liam was shocked and was transfixed on the couch, in front of him was a grim reaper, he wasn't dreaming nor was he hallucinating. Riya turned to him when she noticed his presence and meeting face to face, life literally went out of him.
