Ezmeralda POV:

I cracked my eyes open to see I wasn’t in the bed. I looked around and it looked like I was laying in a garden of sorts. I didn’t feel the need to panic but I was a little nervous.

“Hello?” I called out, maybe I was having some sort of trippy dream. I know I didn’t take anything to help me sleep because I don’t need it. 

“Come to me queen.” A voice called out. I know that voice.. I walked through the garden and saw an opening. I gasped at the sight of it. It was a huge willow tree that illuminated light from it. There was a flower bed that surrounded the tree and a swing that was hanging from it. 

“Sienna? Where am I?” I asked. 

“You are in my realm. I brought you and the others here. Come sit while we wait on them.” Sienna smiled as she patted the seat next to her. 

“How are you?” I asked. 

“I am well, thank you for asking sweet girl. I would ask how you are but I already know.” Sienna giggled. 

“I hear the others.” Sienna added. She stood to her feet and when she did, trails started to light up and I could see my sisters walking towards us. 

“What is going on?” Adira asked. 

“Come sit, I will explain everything.” Sienna replied. Everyone piled around the swing and I felt like I was back in school waiting to be taught. 

“I’ve brought you here to explain Mariahs new gift among other things. Her gift is very special but must not be used all of the time. Remember, we can’t change the future.” Sienna started. 

“When she uses it, her eyes will bleed. It will be painful for her. Only use it in dire situations. She can still see the future and that will help her.” Sienna added. 

“Why does her eyes bleed?” I asked. 

“To remind her and all of you to not abuse this gift I have given.” Sienna replied. That made sense, I know it’s already stopped me from asking. 

“She may share what she sees when she does it. Same rules apply to the future ones. She can’t directly tell you anything.” Sienna spoke. 

“What about Wayne?” Mariah asked. 

“As you see, so will he. He is your other half so the pain you carry he will too. His eyes won’t bleed though and through him you will gain his wolf strength, and hearing.” Sienna smiled. So there was a trade off with them. Her eyes shifted to Adira and I held my breath.

“Practice with your siphon, you are about to become so much stronger than you know and through that siphon, should Michael hold it he can also wield the elements.” Sienna spoke. Holy shit. 

“He blocks the thoughts I can read.. I learned that.” Adira smiled. 

“Yes, when you feel overwhelmed or just need a moment of silence, find it in him. You are stronger than he is and can hear better than any of them but he will have your speed.” Sienna smiled. She was stacking us in a lot of different ways.

“Bobbie, yours I have to say I’m excited to see. You not only have the ability to use electricity but so does Blake. Together, when used right you two can create a massive surge of it. Like Ashs wolf has Ezmeraldas flame around him, Blake will have electricity.” Sienna smiled. 

I felt my eyes go wide as I looked at Bobbie. I remember the way Caspian looked when I saw him, now I wanted to see Blakes wolf. 

“What would happen if my fire and her electricity were to be combined?” I asked. 

“That is for you to find out.” Sienna winked. Bobbie looked at me and she had the biggest smile on her face. 

“I want you all to practice while you can but now more than ever I need you all to intertwine your people. Grow them together, strengthen each other. Rest until the ceremony because afterwards is when the real training will begin.” Sienna said. 

“What about Jordan?” Natalie asked. 

“Before you wake, I will shield him myself. He will be untraceable through any type of magic and should anyone with bad intentions touch him they will burn on the spot. I am doing this so you can focus on yourselves and your people.” Sienna replied. I felt the tears well up in my eyes. 

“Thank you so much..” Natalie whispered. 

“There is another thing. Ezmeralda, you are right about Sally and why they took her. I will pay her a visit myself.” Sienna said. 

“What is she talking about?” Dahlia asked. 

“They are taking humans and disguising them because they know in a war we won’t check. What happens to a white or dark witch if they take an innocent life?” I asked. 

“It takes a piece of our soul.” Dahlia whispered. 

“Bingo. The other humans that were killed I honestly don’t know about them but we need to find a spell so we can know who is who so we don’t turn into black witches.” I announced. That was honestly a tough pill to swallow. None of us wanted to take an innocent life. That is why we have courts but we don’t have any dealings with humans either. 

“We need to warn the humans at the very least.” Adira said. 

“Maybe they can get some sort of marking only we would know about.” Bobbie offered. That wasn’t a terrible idea.

“Maybe like fake tattoos or something.” Natalie said. 

“We have time to think of something. Not much but we have some.” I replied. 

“Yes, you do. I am going to go visit with Sally for a bit. When you awaken you all will be fully rejuvenated. While you’ve been sleeping I have sent spirit to strengthen each of you. Be well my sweet ladies.” Sienna smiled before she disappeared.
