Chapter 94
In Lila's mind, a quick kiss should have been the end of it!
She looked up at Alexander with a completely baffled expression, "I already kissed you. Why do we need to continue?"
After Lila raised her question, she heard a response that completely challenged her understanding, "You kissed me, so have you fallen for me yet?"
She was getting a bit anxious.
But she still patiently said with a smile, "How could it be that fast?"
Alexander said seriously, "Exactly, it's not. That's why I'm telling you to continue."
Lila was speechless.
Did Alexander have some kind of misunderstanding about how to develop feelings?
Lila kindly explained to him, "This needs to happen little by little. You can't just do everything in one day and expect feelings to develop. Time is important too."
As she spoke, she stared at him and asked, "Honey, you're so smart, you should understand what I mean, right?"
"Since you know time is important, why did you pull away after just one kiss?"
"That's not the kind of time I meant."
"Then what kind of time did you mean?"
"It's..."
Lila didn't know how to explain it anymore.
Just as she was at a loss for words, Alexander spoke again, "Didn't you ask me where to kiss earlier? Now, kiss me on the lips."
Her eyes widened in surprise.
When she asked him where to kiss just now, he clearly said anywhere, so she casually kissed his cheek, and now he's telling her to kiss his lips?
That's not fair.
Lila felt like crying but had no tears. Unfortunately, the person standing in front of her had absolute power over her.
She couldn't defy him.
"Was I not clear enough? Why are you still standing there?" He started urging her.
Lila was a bit dazed.
In her 22 years of life, before Alexander, she had never had this kind of physical contact with any man, let alone kissing.
Before today, she had never imagined that her first kiss would happen under such pressure from someone.
But now, things had come to this point.
She might as well just go for it. After all, he was her husband. A kiss was normal.
With this thought, Lila stood on her tiptoes again, keeping her bright, clear eyes open, aimed for his lips, and moved closer.
As the distance gradually closed, her face began to turn red bit by bit.
In Alexander's eyes, Lila's face after her shower was clean and fair, and now it was flushed with a redness that came from within her skin, looking especially tempting.
He watched her inch closer to him, and something called anticipation actually arose deep in his heart.
Thinking about it carefully, he seemed to have never felt anticipation for anything before.
The moment this thought emerged, a subtle change occurred in Alexander's blue eyes.
Lila was busy building up her courage for this kiss and naturally didn't notice the change in Alexander's eyes, until he threw out a somewhat angry line, "How much longer are you going to drag this out?"
She gritted her teeth, feeling like cursing.
What's the rush?
Can't she be nervous for her first time?
Alexander spoke again, with a threatening tone, "If you keep stalling, I'll..."
Alexander didn't finish his sentence.
Because to make him shut up, Lila steeled herself and kissed him directly, blocking his mouth.
The cold and aloof look in Alexander's eyes gradually warmed up the instant he felt the softness on his lips.
His eyes shifted as he looked down at the woman who had pressed her lips against his.
Lila's heart was about to jump out of her chest, and her face was so red it looked like it might drip blood.
This time she kept her lips pressed against his for a full second, thinking that since it was longer than before it should count as not too short, and planned to pull away.
However, just as she was about to retreat, Lila's waist was suddenly pressed by Alexander's palm, and she was pulled against his body.
