Chapter 112

Chapter 112

Lila sat down beside him with an uneasy feeling.

Alexander seemed satisfied and curled his lips slightly without showing any emotion.

He looked at the apples on the table, picked up a small piece with a toothpick stuck in it, and brought it to Lila's lips.

Lila's expression changed dramatically. She looked at him in surprise and stammered, "B-Boss, what are you doing?"

Alexander asked back with a displeased look, "Are you blind or what? Can't you see I'm feeding you fruit?"

"I don't deserve this. Please stop joking around." She maintained respect in her words, but felt very indignant inside.

You're the one who's blind!

Your whole family is blind!

Unfortunately, Alexander couldn't hear her inner roar. He continued explaining his intention of feeding her fruit, "This isn't a joke. This is normal communication between husband and wife. Feeding each other helps build our relationship."

Lila was so shocked her jaw nearly dropped.

Feeding each other with normal people could indeed build a relationship, but feeding each other with Alexander would only build her ability to handle stress.

She looked at him doubtfully, "Boss, where did you learn this from?"

Alexander frowned, seemingly very dissatisfied that she asked this question, "Do I need to learn such a simple principle?"

Lila smiled and took the piece of apple from his hand and put it back on the plate, "Thank you, Boss, but I don't like apples. You can have it."

Alexander stared at her, "Don't like apples? Should I peel you a banana?"

"No, no, no."

After refusing three times, she asked for his permission, "Boss, can I continue eating my lunch? I wasn't full yet when I went to cut fruit for you."

Alexander's gaze became sharp as he stared at her, "Are you blaming me?"

Lila shook her head, "No, no, I'm just simply expressing that I still want to eat lunch."

Alexander looked at her with disgust, "Are you a pig?"

Lila felt uncomfortable under his gaze. The smile on her face instantly froze, and the curve of her lips gradually disappeared.

Alexander raised his hand to pinch her chin, turned her face to the left, then to the right. After examining her, he let go with a look of disgust, pulled out a tissue and elegantly wiped his slender fingers while coldly judging, "All you know is eating. Don't you see how fat you've become?"

She stared at him through gritted teeth, raging inside.

Was she fat?

Her chest and butt were well-proportioned and beautiful. Her figure was perfectly standard, not fat at all.

Was Alexander blind?

What kind of person was he?

No, what kind of jerk was he?

Lila's heart burned with anger that had nowhere to go.

She felt that dealing with Alexander would sooner or later give her breast problems.

For the sake of her health, she decided to go to the hospital for a breast exam every three months from now on.

Early examination for prevention, early detection for treatment.

Alexander had spent many years in the business world and had long developed the ability to read people's minds.

At this moment, watching Lila look like she couldn't stand him but couldn't get rid of him either, he felt extremely pleased inside.

Alexander looked smug, curled his lips as he got up from his chair, gave her a condescending look, and started a new round of exploitation, "Make me a cup of coffee in half an hour."

Without waiting for Lila's response, he turned and walked toward his desk.

She watched his back, her hands clenched into fists.

She really wanted to strangle him!

Strangle him!

Lila withdrew her gaze, took a long breath, treated the food as Alexander, put it in her mouth, chewed it up and swallowed it.

Fifteen minutes later, she finished lunch.

She cleaned up the food containers and returned to her break room.

Her phone rang with a text message notification.

Lila leaned back in her swivel chair, finally relaxed, picked up her phone and opened the screen to check the message.

She thought it was a message from the phone carrier or some spam text, ready to delete it directly, but after opening it, she discovered it was a bank account deposit notification.

Your account (ending in 8866) received a deposit of 2,000,000.00 yuan on XX/XX/XXXX at XX,XX.
