Chapter 101
As Lila stared at him, she noticed blood still flowing steadily from Alexander's head. Her heart jumped to her throat, and she softened her tone, "Let's discuss this later."
After saying that, Lila spoke as if throwing caution to the wind, "Didn't you say you'd only go to the hospital after we had sex? Let's get started then."
With that, Lila stood on her tiptoes and moved to kiss his lips.
In her eyes, Alexander always meant what he said.
If she didn't sleep with him today, he probably wouldn't go see a doctor.
If that was the case, then she'd make it quick and get it over with—at least that would buy time to get him to the hospital.
But before her lips could touch his, Lila was roughly pushed away.
Alexander shoved her so hard that her legs hit the edge of the bed and she fell onto it.
The brief pain didn't make Lila lose her composure.
She turned to look at Alexander, her words full of anxiety, "I'm doing what you said. Are you still not satisfied? Do you really want to lose so much blood that you become brain damaged?"
Alexander gave her a cold look and ordered, "Go get the first aid kit."
The first aid kit?
That's it?
He was going to let her off?
Lila didn't ask the obvious. She stood up from the bed, "I'll get it right away."
With that, she jogged to the bedroom door, but just as she was about to open it, she suddenly realized she had no idea where the first aid kit was. She had to turn back to Alexander, "Where's the first aid kit?"
He spoke impatiently, "Living room, in the storage cabinet under the TV."
"OK, I'll go get it now." After responding, she quickly went downstairs to get it.
Alexander watched her retreating figure and withdrew his gaze with contempt.
His well-defined hand lifted to touch the spot on his head where he'd been hit. When he pulled his hand back and saw the blood on it, he immediately frowned.
The wound hurt quite a bit.
Alexander's expression darkened.
All his life, no one had ever hurt him.
Today, Lila had the audacity to hit him!
He hadn't noticed before, but this seemingly gentle little rabbit actually had the nerve to get physical with him.
For a moment, Alexander's expression turned extremely ugly, and at the same time, an even stronger desire to conquer her grew in his heart.
One day, he would make her beg him to take her.
Lila quickly brought the first aid kit upstairs. When she returned to the room, she saw Alexander sitting in the single armchair in the bedroom.
She carried the kit over and placed it on the nearby table. As she opened it, she said, "Let me clean it with hydrogen peroxide first. You shouldn't shower tonight—getting the wound wet could cause infection. But even with hydrogen peroxide disinfection, it might not be enough. You should really go to the hospital."
Alexander was already unhappy about being injured.
Hearing her go on like this made him even more impatient. His cool voice rang out, "Do you know what 'shut up' means?"
"I'm just..."
"You're so annoying."
Lila finally shut her mouth.
She took out cotton swabs from the first aid kit, dipped them in hydrogen peroxide, then moved a few steps closer to him.
Only when she stood beside him did Alexander notice that the buttons on her nightgown that he'd undone earlier had somehow been fastened again.
Maybe when she went downstairs to get the first aid kit?
Thinking back to how she'd looked earlier, acting like she was ready to sacrifice herself to sleep with him—it was both ridiculous and laughable.
Alexander's lips curved into a meaningful smile.
Lila carefully used the cotton swab to wipe away the darkening blood on Alexander's head.
After wiping several times, she noticed Alexander hadn't made a sound. She didn't know if he really didn't feel pain, or if he was suffering in silence to save face.
Lila couldn't help but ask with concern, "Honey, does it hurt?"
