Chapter 738
Chapter 738
Stella burst into wild laughter when she heard Liberty's words.
"Who'd have thought a little kid like you could understand? Let me tell you, because you're your parents' treasure, if you die today, they'll be in pain forever. That's what I want."
Liberty sighed, shaking her head.
"How can someone be so lost? One wrong move leads to another. Stella, I thought you'd regret this, but I never imagined you'd keep making the same mistakes."
Stella was momentarily stunned. She realized how smart Liberty really was, and jealousy burned within her. If only she and Raymond had a clever daughter like Liberty, how amazing that would be.
Why did everything good happen to Margaret? What made her so special? Didn't she deserve good things too?
Thinking about this made Stella even more agitated.
"You're not in any position to tell me how to live my life, kid. Let me make this clear, you are not getting out of here"
Stella's face lit up with excitement as she raised her hand to strike Liberty. Just then, Diana walked in.
Diana's face was serious as she approached Stella.
"Hold on, Stella. Your dad called. It's been all night; he must suspect something."
Stella hesitated for a moment, then walked out with Diana.
They locked Liberty in an abandoned house on the outskirts of Harmony City. The place was filthy and reeked.
Once they left, Liberty saw her chance. Stella was too clueless to realize Liberty had a smartwatch. Maybe she thought it was just a toy and didn't believe it could make calls, so she didn't take it away.
As soon as they were gone, Liberty quickly used her smartwatch to call Raymond.
"Dad, come get me! Stella kidnapped me. We're in an abandoned house on the outskirts of Harmony City, probably on the east side."
Raymond was driving towards Margaret's villa, thinking he was late and Liberty and Margaret must be hungry, so he was in a hurry. When he answered Liberty's call, she immediately blurted out everything without giving him a chance to speak.
Raymond's face turned anxious.
"What? That damn Stella kidnapped you again?"
"Yes, Dad, hurry! They might take my watch away soon. You need to come quick."
Raymond's hands clenched into fists. He never imagined Stella would have the guts to kidnap Liberty again."Liberty, don't worry. Dad's on his way right now."
Raymond hung up and noticed Margaret's call had been blocked. He quickly dialed her back.
"Raymond, why didn't you pick up earlier?"
Margaret sounded frantic. She had woken up to find Liberty missing and Brady still unconscious, with no clue what had happened.
"I was talking to Liberty."
Margaret was stunned.
"What? Liberty called you? Where is she? Why isn't she at the villa?"
"Stella kidnapped her. She's in an abandoned house on the outskirts of Harmony City. I'm heading there now."
Margaret was shocked and wanted Raymond to pick her up, but realized it would waste too much time.
"Raymond, you go ahead. I'll get Wesley to drive me there. If you get there first, send me the location."
"Got it."
They hung up, and Margaret rushed downstairs, worried about Brady still unconscious. She had no idea what Stella had drugged them with last night. What if Brady never woke up?
She called an ambulance and then Brent.
Brent was at his office, discussing an upcoming meeting with his assistant. Seeing Margaret's call, he quickly answered, knowing her situation had been tense lately.
"What's wrong, Maggie? Why are you calling so early? Did something happen?"
"Brent, you need to go to the hospital. Brady's there alone, and I'm worried. I'll explain later. Liberty's been kidnapped by Stella again. I'm going to check it out."
Brent's face changed.
"What? Stella kidnapped Liberty again? That's crazy. If I'd known, we shouldn't have stopped her from jumping off the building that day."
Margaret regretted it too. If she'd known Liberty would be in danger today, she wouldn't have been soft-hearted that day.
"Brent, we'll talk later. I need to go now."
Margaret hung up, just as Wesley arrived with the car. She hurriedly got in, and they drove towards the outskirts of Harmony City.
Raymond found the house and sent the location to Margaret. She arrived shortly after.
Raymond didn't make a move near the house, unsure of what Stella might do in desperation.
Stella, ready for a desperate fight, couldn't be intimidated anymore.
Margaret rushed to Raymond's side, nervously asking, "Raymond, what do we do? Are Stella and Liberty inside?"
Raymond nodded.
"I checked with binoculars. Diana's in there too. Liberty is safe for now. I called the police before I came out. They should be here soon."
