Chapter 501: Is Sophia the Boss?
Sophia glanced up at Benjamin while playing the game.
She flashed Benjamin a sweet smile, then focused back on her game.
Benjamin caught her look and couldn't help but smile.
Under Benjamin's warning glare, Gregory stopped shouting.
Even though Gregory was excited, he didn't dare make a sound and covered his mouth tightly.
When Sophia won, he couldn't hold back his emotions any longer.
"You're the best!"
He knew Sophia had never been afraid of anyone when it came to gaming.
Who did Flynn think he was?
No matter how good he was, didn't he still lose to Sophia?
Thinking of Flynn's frustrated and ugly expression when he lost the match, Gregory felt completely satisfied.
All his previous anger had vanished into thin air.
However, he was surprised that Flynn showed no sign of sadness after losing the match.
Instead, he was very excited.
After two years, his boss was still that amazing.
Flynn knew very well that his current gaming level was already quite impressive.
Just last night, he had even beaten Anti from the esports team.
Anti was a very famous esports team captain in the country.
Although mobile games and esports weren't quite the same, it didn't affect his admiration for his boss.
Even though he lost this match, he felt very happy.
He opened the chat box, and his fingers flew across the keyboard: "Boss, where did you go two years ago? We were supposed to meet."
Sophia raised an eyebrow and replied, "It wasn't convenient."
Two years ago, she already knew that the person playing games with her was Flynn.
It was precisely because she knew that she had blocked Flynn's game account.
She didn't want any more involvement with the Brown family.
Although she had received birthday gifts from the three Brown brothers on time every year for the past two years, she still couldn't let go of the hurt in her heart.
From the moment she signed that severance agreement, she had never considered anyone from the Brown family as relatives again.
Flynn lowered his head in disappointment. He still couldn't meet his boss?
But why?
Two years ago, too, they had already arranged to meet, but his boss never showed up.
He tossed his phone aside, leaned back against the sofa, and thought carefully about that day.
That day, he sat in the coffee shop, waiting for his boss to come meet him.
He was very excited then, and knowing the other person was a girl, he had even dressed up specially.
But he didn't wait for his boss to arrive. Instead, he waited for Sophia.
At that time, he still had misunderstandings about Sophia and even felt disgusted by her.
So he insulted Sophia.
It was also on that day that he finally realized just how terrible his parents were.
And he clearly recognized that Isabella, whom he had loved for over ten years, had such a vicious mind.
After Sophia was brought back to the Brown Villa, Isabella had always acted hurt and sad.
Isabella said she didn't mind Sophia, but her tears kept falling uncontrollably.
How could he and his brothers bear to see Isabella, whom they had loved for over ten years, suffer like this?
To put Isabella's mind at ease, he did many things that hurt Sophia.
He not only mocked her but also, when she was wronged and hurt, decisively chose to stand on Isabella's side.
Thinking back to those times, Flynn felt like his heart was being torn apart.
But when he realized how serious the problem was, it was too late to make amends.
Sophia's heart had been completely broken, and she would never come back.
Wait!
Flynn suddenly stood up from the sofa, his eyes full of shock and disbelief.
Was there a possibility... that his boss had come that day?
Flynn nervously swallowed. Could it really be what he was thinking?
In these few short minutes, countless possibilities ran through his mind.
First possibility: his boss never came at all, but based on her personality, she definitely wouldn't have blocked him.
At least not without any explanation.
So this possibility didn't hold up.
Second possibility: she came, saw the confrontation between him and Sophia, and was completely disappointed in him.
This was possible, after all, he had behaved terribly at the time.
Third possibility... and the one he thought was most unlikely.
Sophia was his boss.
But could Sophia really play games?
The information Heath investigated never mentioned any of this.
Flynn covered his face hard. He picked up his phone, wanting to ask clearly, but was also a bit afraid.
Afraid it really was what he thought.
He stayed silent for a long time, and finally only sent: "Never mind, being online friends isn't bad either."
At least she wouldn't block him again.
Let it be like this. This was fine too. At least there was one way for him to have a connection with Sophia.
Maple Grove Villas.
Sophia put away her phone and said to Gregory, "Gregory, are you satisfied now?"
"Satisfied, very satisfied! My affection for you wasn't wasted!"
If it weren't for Benjamin being there, Gregory would have rushed over to hug Sophia.
But he didn't dare.
Benjamin's eyes looked like they could kill.
He was afraid that before he could hug Sophia, he'd be thrown out first.
Sure enough, at lunch, Benjamin didn't keep him for the meal.
Benjamin's possessiveness over Sophia was extremely strong.
He really didn't know what kind of difficult life Sophia lived every day.
But even though Gregory complained in his heart, he didn't dare say it out loud in front of Benjamin.
Benjamin was even scarier than Matthew.
After Gregory left, Sophia shook her head helplessly.
Gregory was still as childish as before.
He hadn't changed at all.
Benjamin pulled her into his arms and asked in a low voice: "Are you planning to forgive Flynn?"
"It's not really forgiveness. I've had nothing to do with him for a long time."
Sophia lazily leaned in Benjamin's arms and stretched.
Benjamin held her from behind, a smile flashing in his eyes.
His Sophia was always tough on the outside but soft on the inside.
But he didn't call her out on it.
No matter what choice Sophia made, he would respect it.
Sophia, in his arms, suddenly looked up: "Why didn't you go to work again today?"
Benjamin paused: "Would you mind if I didn't work?"
Sophia couldn't help but laugh: "Depends. They say distance makes the heart grow fonder. What's the deal with you sticking to me every day?"
Benjamin lowered his head and suddenly kissed her lips, "I just like sticking to you. Is that okay, Mrs. White?"
Sophia smiled and gave him a playful look, then wrapped her arms around his neck to respond.
She noticed that since she got pregnant, Benjamin had become even more fond of kissing her.
But as they kissed, she felt something wasn't right. Sensing his change, Sophia's cheeks gradually turned pink.
"Benjamin, control yourself!"
The veins on Benjamin's forehead twitched, his voice restrained and helpless: "I want to control it too, but that's my physical reaction."
