Chapter 388 She Is His, Only Belongs to Him
By the time they got home, it was already late at night. They both took quick showers and got ready to rest.
Benjamin suddenly opened his suitcase and rummaged through it to pull out a notebook, waving it in front of Sophia.
Sophia looked at him in surprise. "How come you brought this back too?"
"I thought it might come in handy, so I just tossed it in." Benjamin walked over and sat on the edge of the bed, flipping open the notebook as he spoke.
Sophia moved closer to him, wanting to see what he was up to.
Benjamin lowered his eyes, and seeing her lean in with such curiosity, a faint smile flickered in his gaze.
"Remember this wish list?"
"Of course I remember. It has all the things we wanted to do but never got around to finishing."
Sophia's fair, delicate fingertips gently brushed across the notebook's pages, a touch of emotion flashing in her eyes.
They had once promised each other that they would never be apart in this lifetime, that they would complete every single item on their wish list.
But who could have known how unpredictable life would be...
Fortunately, fate hadn't been too cruel to them.
Even after going through countless hardships, they had ultimately found their way back to each other.
Benjamin stretched out his long arm and pulled Sophia tightly into his embrace.
His tense jawline gently nuzzled against the top of her soft hair.
"Then starting today, let's do every single thing recorded on here."
Although he hadn't fully recovered his memory yet, as long as he and Sophia were still together, that was enough.
"Okay." Sophia nodded with a smile.
She had been thinking the same thing.
"So... shall we pick one to complete first, Mrs. White?"
This wasn't the first time Benjamin had called Sophia "Mrs. White," but it was the first time he'd addressed her this way after recovering his original identity.
He liked calling her that.
Every time he did, Benjamin could feel even more clearly that she was his.
His alone.
"How about we start with watching a movie? There's a small screening room on the second floor. We can watch there."
The wish list recorded that she wanted to watch a movie together with Benjamin.
This wish had never been fulfilled.
Benjamin nodded, his eyes full of tender warmth as he looked at Sophia. "Okay."
"Why don't we go now? We can't sleep anyway, so we might as well do something fun."
As soon as this idea popped into her head, Sophia immediately broke free from Benjamin's embrace and pulled him up from the bed.
Watching her excited expression, Benjamin couldn't help but twitch his lips.
Why was it that in her eyes, all the fun things... never happened in bed?
But although he thought this, he ultimately didn't voice these thoughts.
He could guarantee that if he dared to go against her wishes right now, he wouldn't even have the right to sleep in bed tonight.
He let Sophia lead him upstairs to the screening room. Although it couldn't compare to a movie theater, the space was actually pretty decent.
At least it could easily seat a dozen people.
Sophia pulled him to the first row, then looked up at him and said, "You wait here first. I'll go find the movie."
Benjamin suddenly remembered something and asked her, "I remember you acted in a film two years ago?"
"Yes, when I went to shoot it, you used to visit the set all the time."
"Really? Then let's watch that movie tonight."
He also wanted to see what Sophia was like when she was acting.
"Okay."
Actually, she and Benjamin had made an agreement two years ago that they would definitely go to the cinema to watch it when it was released.
Now two years had passed, and the movie had already left theaters.
When Benjamin hadn't returned yet, she would often hide alone in this screening room, watching this film over and over.
Imagining that he was right beside her, watching with her, never having left.
She would watch while reminiscing about all the little moments they shared together at Vast Mountain when they were filming.
After the screening officially started, Sophia walked over and sat down in the seat next to Benjamin.
She was surprised to discover that Benjamin somehow had two small cakes in his hands.
"When did you get those?"
Sophia loved sweets. Usually when Benjamin came back from outside, he would bring her a small cake.
He always spoiled and indulged her in these little details of life.
"Go ahead and eat. You can have a bit more tonight." Benjamin handed one of the small cakes to her.
"Thanks, honey!"
Sophia happily accepted it. Watching a movie while enjoying a treat—it couldn't get any better than this.
The rich cream flavor spread through her mouth, and Sophia contentedly narrowed her eyes.
Watching her completely satisfied expression, Benjamin felt a sweet warmth rising in his heart too.
Benjamin kept his eyes on Sophia, his deep gaze flickering with intense, burning light.
It was hard to ignore.
Sophia turned her head to look at him and laughed helplessly. "Why are you looking at me? Watch the movie."
"You're prettier."
He could never look at her enough.
Benjamin didn't think his gaze was too sappy at all. He just wanted to look at her more, to firmly imprint her face in his memory.
He would never forget her again.
Feeling uncomfortable under his burning gaze, Sophia cleared her throat and pushed his face away with her hand.
"Watch the movie. Focus."
"Okay."
Benjamin shifted his gaze to the big screen, the smile at the corners of his mouth deepening.
After a while, looking at the scenes in the movie, his brows furrowed almost imperceptibly.
"How come you haven't appeared yet?"
Sophia explained in a low voice, "I'm only the third female lead in this movie. I don't have many scenes. Wait a bit longer, I'll appear soon."
Since Sophia had said so, Benjamin could only wait patiently.
After about ten minutes, Sophia's first scene finally appeared.
On the movie screen, a slender, graceful figure slowly emerged.
The spring breeze gently blew past, making her soft hair flutter lightly.
A form-fitting dress outlined her figure perfectly, adding a touch of charm and allure.
Benjamin stared at the movie screen in a daze, a flash of amazement crossing his deep eyes.
Sophia had watched this movie scene so many times that she was used to it by now.
A low chuckle suddenly reached her ears. She instinctively turned her head and happened to meet a pair of deep eyes.
Benjamin's eyes were dark and unfathomable, as if hiding a huge whirlpool that would suck you in with just one more look.
She froze for a moment, then heard Benjamin say meaningfully, "I finally know where that closet full of dresses in the wardrobe came from."
He rarely saw Sophia wear dresses, but this morning he had seen dozens of dresses in her closet.
So it turned out... they were bought by his past self.
He had to admit, Sophia really suited wearing dresses.
In the movie, she was elegant and poised, radiating a noble air that made it impossible to look away.
Hearing him say this, Sophia's mind suddenly flashed back to the scene two years ago when he had asked her to change into a dress.
A blush involuntarily appeared on her cheeks.
