Chapter 325 Being Followed
Seeing Cillian drive away from the White Manor, the person hiding in the shadows immediately followed.
At this moment, Cillian had no idea he was being tailed. He was still thrilled about secretly driving the sports car he'd been dreaming about.
No wonder he had his eye on this car - it drove like a dream.
It felt absolutely amazing!
Soon, the car stopped in front of a bar.
Cillian got out and casually tossed the keys to the valet standing at the entrance.
"Park it for me, thanks."
Cillian was fully covered up - baseball cap, long-sleeved jacket, sunglasses, and a black face mask.
To many people, this getup looked pretty weird.
But the valet was professional. Without asking questions, he took the keys and drove the car away.
Cillian went straight to a private room on the third floor to drink with his friends.
Ever since Benjamin's incident two years ago, Cillian had turned down most of his work commitments.
He spent most of his time at home with the White Manor.
In his free time, he'd go to bars with friends to drink and chat.
When his friend saw him, he couldn't help teasing: "Cillian, long time no see. What have you been up to lately?"
Cillian didn't answer. He sat down on the sofa and took a big gulp of his drink.
Seeing his low mood, his friend asked: "What's wrong? Something happen?"
"My second brother came back." Cillian said flatly, a slow smile forming at the corner of his mouth.
His friends were instantly shocked. Their hands froze mid-air holding their glasses, eyes wide with disbelief: "What? Who came back?"
"Cillian, don't joke around like that in broad daylight - you're scaring us!"
One friend hugged his arms tightly, goosebumps covering his body.
Cillian glanced at him and couldn't help but sneer, "Pathetic!"
Seeing everyone so spooked, Cillian stopped being mysterious and explained what happened.
The four or five people present were stunned, unable to react for a long time.
"Benjamin really came back? You're not joking?"
Cillian was annoyed by his words and shot back: "You think I'd joke about something like this?"
His friends all shut up.
"Let's not talk about this anymore. Let's drink!"
A few hours later, Cillian put down his glass and put his mask and cap back on. "I'm heading out. Let's meet up again next time."
With that, he stood up and walked toward the door.
Honestly, Benjamin's return caught him off guard too.
Even now, it still felt like a dream.
He left the private room, rubbing his heavy head.
He'd drunk a bit too much today because he was so happy.
Everything that happened these past few days was so sudden - he hadn't had time to process it all.
He'd agreed to drink with these friends today because he wanted to clear his head.
He walked toward the elevator on his long legs, pulling out his phone from his pocket to call his driver.
But just as he took out his phone, a strong, powerful arm suddenly grabbed his neck.
"Don't move."
Then Cillian was pressed against the wall, his hot face against the cold surface, making him shiver.
It also sobered him up a bit.
"Who are you?"
"Cillian, come with us." The man behind him spoke in a low, cold tone with an indescribable murderous air.
Cillian swallowed quietly, trying to stay calm.
He said to the person behind him: "You know who I am, right? Aren't you afraid of the White family's revenge for doing this?"
"The White family? Your White family can barely take care of themselves right now. Why should I be afraid?" The man behind him pressed harder on Cillian's arm, almost making him cry out in pain.
He'd been pampered by the White family since childhood, admired by everyone - no one had ever dared threaten him like this!
"Who are you people?"
"You'll find out soon enough. Stop talking nonsense." The man grabbed Cillian by the collar and roughly shoved him into the elevator.
Cillian's eyes flickered. After thinking for a moment, he gave up struggling.
They were a group, and they all looked well-trained - clearly professionals.
He was no match for them.
Rather than fight head-on, he might as well observe carefully and figure out who sent these people and what they wanted.
But no matter how he tried to probe, they wouldn't reveal their true identity.
Finally, Cillian got angry and shouted at them: "You better show me some respect, or Alaric and Benjamin won't let you get away with this!"
The leader sneered at this and kicked Cillian's knee. "Oh really? I'd like to see if they have what it takes!"
Cillian cried out in pain from the kick.
The elevator quickly reached the bar's underground parking garage. The leader roughly shoved Cillian and said coldly: "Move faster, stop dragging your feet."
To threaten Cillian, the man even pulled out a fruit knife from his pocket.
The blade was sharp, gleaming coldly under the garage lights, sending chills down one's spine.
Cillian suppressed his anger, but his eyes quietly scanned the surroundings.
The garage was very quiet right now, with hardly anyone around.
A few scattered people drove away without a second glance, as if they were used to seeing such scenes.
At first, Cillian wanted to call for help, but seeing those people's attitudes, his heart gradually sank.
"If you really want me to go with you, fine, but at least tell me where we're going. If I don't come home tonight, my family will worry. Since you know my name, you should know how precious I am to my family... If I don't go back tonight, do you think my grandfather and brothers won't send people to find me? The whole of Silverlight City will be turned upside down... Are you sure you can leave smoothly?"
The men exchanged glances, hesitation flashing in their eyes.
Elijah had only told them to kidnap someone from the White family, but Silverlight City was the White family's territory after all.
Taking Cillian away smoothly wouldn't be easy.
The leader's eyes narrowed. He played with the fruit knife, pressing the blade against Cillian's neck and threatening coldly: "Take out your phone."
The corner of Cillian's lips curved up almost imperceptibly. He slowly reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone.
The leader snatched the phone, quickly opened Preston's chat, typed a message, and threw the phone into a nearby trash can.
"Take him away!"
This time, Cillian cooperated fully, letting them lead him away.
The men didn't notice that after they left, someone who had been following them in the shadows slowly emerged.
