Chapter 273 Not Going to Explain?
Sophia's back tensed up involuntarily. She swallowed nervously, her hands gripping the laptop starting to sweat.
Benjamin frowned, "What are you doing?"
Sophia blinked guiltily, her expression innocent and pure, "Nothing, you saw wrong."
Her obvious attempt to cover up made Benjamin laugh.
His wife really wasn't good at lying.
Sophia didn't realize her facial expression had already given her away. She clutched the laptop tightly with both hands, looking at Benjamin defensively.
Right now, she had only one thought in her mind: she absolutely couldn't let Benjamin see what was on the laptop.
She never expected that what Joshua gave her would be that kind of porn video.
How embarrassing!
Fortunately, even though Benjamin pushed the door open, she quickly closed the laptop.
Sophia didn't have time to see clearly what was on the screen, only getting a blurry impression.
Even so, Sophia's cheeks inevitably flushed red.
Sophia's originally fair cheeks now looked charming and alluring, the blush on her face impossible to look away from.
Plus, Sophia had just come out of the bathroom after showering, her hair still half-wet.
Combined with her bright, dewy eyes, it made one's heart race uncontrollably.
Benjamin's eyes darkened slightly as he slowly leaned down, moving closer to her, "Really? Then what are you hiding?"
Under Benjamin's deep, dark gaze, Sophia's heart grew even more flustered. Her eyes flickered slightly as she tried to stay calm.
"I'm not hiding anything! You must have seen wrong!"
Benjamin chuckled softly.
When Sophia was nervous, she loved trying to cover things up. The little expressions on her face clearly showed something was up.
His gaze fell on the laptop clutched tightly in Sophia's delicate hands.
Noticing Benjamin's look, Sophia quickly hid the laptop behind her back, the wariness in her eyes intensifying.
"There's nothing!"
Benjamin's lips curved slightly as he slowly leaned toward her ear.
Benjamin's breath was hot and burning, spraying across Sophia's cheeks, making her face even redder than before.
Benjamin took advantage of Sophia's distracted attention and, when she wasn't on guard, snatched the laptop away.
Benjamin's movements were swift and clean, without any hesitation.
Sophia's eyes widened in surprise. She tried to grab the laptop back, but Benjamin was tall, and with one hand he held the laptop high up.
Sophia stood on her tiptoes, reaching up to grab it, only to find she couldn't reach it no matter what.
Finally, Sophia sat back down on the sofa defeated, glaring at him angrily.
"Give it back!"
"No." Benjamin sat on the other side of the sofa, casually opening the laptop.
Sophia's laptop didn't have a password, so it opened with just a light press of a key.
The moment the screen lit up, Benjamin froze, his expression changing repeatedly, his face gradually darkening.
He looked at Sophia, his narrow eyes slightly narrowed, his lips curving into an ambiguous smile.
"So you like this stuff? You should have said so earlier."
Sophia knew things couldn't be salvaged now. She sat silently on the sofa, covering her face tightly with both hands, so embarrassed she wished she could find a hole to crawl into.
Joshua!
You're done for!
When he gets back to Silverlight City, she definitely won't let Joshua off easy!
Benjamin crossed his legs, expressionlessly shutting down the laptop, his pale fingertips lightly tapping on the metal casing.
His movements were casual, yet carried an indescribable sense of danger.
"Not going to explain, Sophia?"
Sophia wished she could find a place to hide. How could she have the nerve to speak?
Benjamin waited patiently for her answer.
Sophia quickly adjusted her emotions and slowly moved her hands away from her face.
She tried to use the most serious tone possible: "If I said this stuff isn't mine, would you believe me?"
Benjamin raised an eyebrow, his lips curving into a meaningful smile, "I believe you."
"Then, if I said I was actually watching a movie just now, and it suddenly popped up on its own, and I only looked at it for a second, just one second! Would you believe me?"
There was a hint of caution in this sentence.
Sophia's dewy, clear eyes were especially serious and focused.
Without a trace of lying.
Benjamin laughed softly, helplessly rubbing his forehead.
He didn't answer Sophia's question. Instead, he walked up to her, leaned down, and scooped Sophia up in his arms.
Sophia wasn't prepared. Her body suddenly lifted off the ground, and she couldn't help but cry out, her arms tightly wrapping around Benjamin's neck.
"What are you doing?"
The veins on Benjamin's temple bulged from restraint, and then he carried Sophia to the bed.
His movements were extremely gentle.
Yet Sophia instinctively sensed a hint of danger.
She tried to get up, but Benjamin's tall figure had already pressed down on her, and her wrists were held, raised high above her head.
Sophia tried to struggle again, opening her mouth to explain, but her lips were suddenly sealed.
Benjamin's lips were like him—hot and burning, leaving her no room to refuse.
Sophia was kissed by him, only one thought left in her mind: This time she'd really messed up!
Sophia's clothes were removed without her realizing it. Benjamin's movements were extremely gentle at first.
Sophia was kissed dizzy, her ears filled with Benjamin's low, soothing voice.
Then, a sharp pain suddenly came from below.
This time, for some reason, her pain nerves didn't delay.
Sophia clearly felt that pain for the first time.
Benjamin's movements paused slightly, giving Sophia enough time to adjust, then slowly began to move.
His thin lips kissed almost every part of her body.
Sophia felt like she was floating in the deep sea, rising and falling, moving with the waves.
The moonlight slowly hid behind the clouds. The long night had just begun.
When she woke up the next day, Sophia felt like her whole body had fallen apart.
Although last night's lovemaking was already quite restrained, Benjamin was, after all, an adult man.
He'd been celibate for over twenty years and wanted to release it all at once.
But considering Sophia's body, he ultimately held back.
Even so, Sophia was exhausted.
With the slightest movement, Sophia couldn't help but gasp.
At this moment, sunlight streamed through the thin curtains, falling on Benjamin's deeply contoured face.
Though Benjamin's features were sharp and defined, they now had a softer quality, and the cold, unapproachable aura around him had unconsciously faded.
Sophia stared at him blankly.
She'd always known how captivating Benjamin's face was. Even though she saw it every day, she would still be mesmerized by his face at unexpected moments.
She unconsciously reached out her hand, her fair, delicate fingertips lightly brushing over Benjamin's refined brows and eyes, his high nose bridge, thick eyelashes... finally landing on his sexy thin lips.
She slowly leaned closer, wanting to steal a kiss.
However, just as her lips were about to touch his, Benjamin suddenly opened his eyes.
